Loans
We offer loans from £50 up to £15,000 and with fast decisions online, no hidden fees or penalties and we consider all applicants, regardless of circumstances.
Savings
Our flexible, easy access savings accounts offer great value for everyone! Whatever you are saving for, saving regularly helps you to manage your money better.
Current Account
Manage your normal day-to-day spending. You can pay bills, set up direct debits or standing orders and receive any salary or benefit payments.
Why we are different
What sets us apart from mainstream banking institutions is that we are a not for profit co-operative organisation. This means that money that members make and save from being a member stays in the local community. By coming together as a co-operative it gives all members access to low cost loans, as little as 8.7% APR.As an ethical lender we assess each loan application on individual circumstances thereby enabling us to consider everyone, irrespective of their credit status or personal circumstances.
When you join Clockwise you benefit from becoming a shareholder; and all cash surplus generated is divided between our members as interest on savings & rewards for good borrowers.

Thought the service was fantastic to…
Thought the service was fantastic to start, until I tried to renew my loan after paying in full and was rejected. Was told it was due to my financial situation, however I had gotten myself a job and clear some debts at this time. Seems to me they give you the first load to get the customers in and then don’t care after that

We understand how frustrating it can feel to be declined after repaying a previous loan in full, especially when your circumstances may have improved in some areas. A good repayment history with us is always taken into account and does matter. However, each new loan application has to be assessed based on the member’s current overall financial situation, affordability, and our responsibility to lend safely.
As a credit union, we are here to support our members, not to encourage borrowing that may not be affordable or suitable at the time. Declining an application is never something we do lightly, and it does not mean we do not value you as a member.
We would be happy to talk through the decision with you and explain what may need to change before a future application could be considered.

Low loan rates
I have always borrowed money via credit union due to their exceptional good rates . The process is easy and simple. I also like that you can top up your loan fees and hassle free.

Worst company. Keep you in debt and never helpful towards vulnerable customers. Do not take a loan out with these guys. You will regret!!
