Terrible all around
Absolutely terrible experience with Comcast Business. I scheduled an internet installation with a 3:00–5:00 PM appointment window. Right before 5:00 PM, I received a notification that the technician wasn’t going to make the scheduled window. He finally arrived around 5:30 PM.
After working until approximately 7:00 PM, he left — and we still had no working internet.
You would think Comcast would prioritize coming back to finish an installation that they failed to complete. Instead, I was told the next available appointment is 10 DAYS LATER. I contacted customer service and was essentially told there was nothing they could do.
This is a business internet account. Businesses depend on internet service to operate, and leaving a new business without service for another 10 days because Comcast couldn't complete its own scheduled installation is completely unacceptable.
If this is how Comcast Business handles a brand-new customer and installation, I can only imagine what dealing with an outage or future service issue will be like.
USE ANYONE ELSE BUT COMCAST BUSINESS.
Small businesses should consider T-mobile for business and AVOID Comcast Business!!!
Quick summary about Comcast Business:
1. Our main complaint is their failure to provide a timely refund of our credit balance after canceling. Also, they cannot tell me how much the credit balance is or when to expect a refund;
2. Price kept going up, and they want you to sign a multi-year contract;
3. They can't compete on price or service with T-mobile business internet.
See more details below.
Canceled Comcast Business internet-only service on 7/14/26 and returned equipment and got receipt on 7/15/26. Good riddance.
Today is 9/5/26 and despite several calls and chats for the past month, we still have not received a pro-rated refund on our July payment.
FYI, we have never missed a payment with them and always used autopay.
Customer service tries their best to be friendly but they are useless.
The only good thing I can say about customer service is when I canceled, the nice lady told me to stop auto-pay, and I'm glad I did because they still generated a bill for August when we had canceled in July. They certainly would have charged our auto-pay again, and I'm sure she knew that would happen.
Amazingly, the website is also useless and to this date (9/5/26) has NOT been updated to show that we canceled the service.
We had Comcast Business service since 2013 and the price kept going up and up. There were sporadic outages but overall the internet service was good.
As of June, we would have stayed with them, if they had been competitive on price. However, after our bad experience with them delaying the refund of our credit balance AND the useless customer service and website, we will NEVER go back, even if they become competitive on price in the future.
At the time we canceled, the cost was $124 monthly with no contract. Before canceling, I gave them a chance to keep our business, but they only offered $117 with a 2 year contract, so good-bye.
We discovered T-mobile for business (same that we had with CB: internet only) in June of 2026. Price is $70 per month. The price is, LOCKED-IN for 5 years with NO contract and NO CHARGE for equipment rental like Comcast does.
By the way, if you're renting the equipment with Comcast, don't expect them to let you know when there is an equipment upgrade available.
It is still early with T-mobile, but service has been flawless so far after 2 months with no outages.
Get the T-mobile package that includes one or more extenders. We are running 3 security cameras and 3 Sonos speakers over the WIFI, plus several other devices. If you want ethernet to your PC, you can run it off the main base (which needs to be near a window) or off one of the extender boxes.
They offer a 2 week trial so you can test it out at your business before canceling your current service.
Thank goodness for competition!
**Extremely Frustrating Experience With…
**Extremely Frustrating Experience With Comcast Business**
I have been a Comcast Business customer largely because, in my area, there are very limited alternatives. Unfortunately, this experience has reinforced exactly why that is so frustrating.
I signed a contract with Comcast Business that clearly stated my monthly bill would be approximately **$122 per month**. Yet my bill has consistently been around **$165 per month**.
I later discovered that part of the difference involved charges associated with a **toll-free number**. The problem is that I was never assigned a toll-free number, never used a toll-free number, and even today, while logged into my Comcast Business portal, I cannot find anything that clearly identifies an 800/toll-free number associated with my account.
About two months ago, I called Comcast specifically to resolve this issue. During that conversation, I was told that the matter would be addressed and that I would receive a refund for fees associated with a service I had never used.
Now, because I did not personally write down a ticket number or keep a record of that conversation, the representative I spoke with today essentially treated the previous conversation as though it never happened.
What made the situation worse was the way my concerns were handled.
I repeatedly explained that I was not even trying to be argumentative—I was asking for **clarity**. If Comcast believes this toll-free service has always been on my account, then simply show me:
1. Where I agreed to it.
2. What toll-free number was assigned to me.
3. Where that number appears in my account portal.
4. When and how the service was activated.
5. Why I was being charged for something I never used.
6. Why my signed agreement showed a monthly amount of approximately $122, while my actual bills were consistently much higher.
Instead of helping me understand the discrepancy, the representative was condescending and adamant that the service had always been there, essentially making me feel as though I simply failed to notice what was on my own account.
That is not customer service.
Comcast has the records. Comcast records calls. Comcast controls the billing system. Comcast controls what appears in the customer portal. A customer should not have to prove that a conversation with Comcast took place in order for Comcast to investigate its own records.
And if I have supposedly been paying for a toll-free number all this time, **what is the number? Where is it? Where can I see it in my account?**
I am still asking for a very simple thing: transparency.
I want Comcast Business to review my original signed agreement, identify exactly where this toll-free service was authorized, provide the toll-free number that was supposedly assigned to my business, explain why it is not visible in my portal, review the previous customer-service interaction, and correct/refund any charges for services I did not knowingly authorize or use.
For a company that businesses are often forced to rely on because of limited competition, the standard of service should be much higher than this.
The price is outrageous
The price is outrageous. And it keeps getting higher at 678 East Vine St. Murray, Utah. They have a monopoly and don't care about you as a customer.
Wish there was a way to give zero…
Wish there was a way to give zero stars. Every week an outage in our area. Today has been down for 5 plus hours. We have lost so many sales that we can not get back. Customers can not call in we can not call out. No phones. No internet. We are now looking for a new provider. If you read this stay away from comcast business. They are not reliable at all.
It's no surprise that this company gets…
It's no surprise that this company gets such poor reviews. I have been a customer for many years. I renewed my contract last month. For the past month we have had problems with our phone system. It took us several weeks to realize on our own that they failed to allow our phone lines to roll over. We missed phone calls, patient calls, emergency calls and business. They completely refused to accept responsibility. They blamed that on me saying it was my responsibility to set up the rollover. My lines have been set up to rollover since I started with them six years ago and I specifically told them I did not want any changes to my plan when I renewed the contract. I find it unacceptable that a company will not take responsibility for negligence and incompetence. They do not care
Worst customer service ever
Worst customer service ever. AI assistant does not have a clue. Out of country support you can barely understand. Spent an hour on the support line just trying to complete one task and support did not have a clue how to help…just kept transferring me from one rep to another. This happens every single time we reach out for support. USELESS!
I used Comcast businesses
I used Comcast business for more then nine years I just signed a new contract with them and they tell me it’s this price when they turn around they give me another price I have to call back everyday to tell them they gave me the wrong price and they always say the same thing every time ma’am please wait we’ll give you a call back soon I had to wait a whole day
I wish there was an option for zero…
I wish there was an option for zero stars. Never in my life have I dealt with a more frustrating, shady, and deceitful company. We have used Comcast Business for our two businesses for several years, as well as Xfinity at home. I finally cut the cord for the two businesses, and 5 months later, we are still dealing with the incomplete cancellations. We are dealing with false claims of unreturned equipment, 'past due' bills for months after service was terminated, call after call after call with long wait times and incompetent and pushy Comcast employees. I loathe this company and the nightmare it has put us through during this arduous process. We have spent HOURS and hours in the last 5 months, and still this simple task of termination is not complete. It is so completely unacceptable and beyond unprofessional. RUN... buyer beware. Comcast/Xfinity is an absolute nightmare.
Business class subscriber for 12+…
Business class subscriber for 12+ years. Always paid my bill on time and in full.
Had to move from the residence I had the service at to another location.. reached out and asked if they had connection options for me at my new location.
They told me they had Fiber (which was a bald faced lie) and then they could get me 500/500 for ..$169/mo and with that came the modem I also had to lease from them at $110./mo... so how was I with $310 a month? ( was paying $160 for garbage internet only)
Told them that that was unacceptable as they 1) were Lying to my face and 2) that they couldn't compete with the fiber that was already run to my residence.. for $75 /mo for 1000/1000.
They then told me I had a few months left on their extortionate 'contract',( aka Lock you into something at a slightly lower rate to keep you stuck with them) and that I had to pay to get out of it... told them they cant offer anything comparable and their pricing was ludicrous.
Was then told to find someone to sell my contract to... told them to again, stick that one in their ear as well.
Was then hung up on and sent to their farce collection agency.
Told them I work for an organization that picks ISPs for companies around the country and I will Not advocate them to Anybody, ever. They have no idea how much $$ that has been steered away from them due to their absolute garbage service and policies.
Now I keep getting mailed offers to join them... and despite calling and getting 'removed', from their mailing list over a dozen times... am Still getting mail from them.
Its amazing that despite treating their customers like garbage, they then somehow expect those now burned individuals to actually Want to return to that nonsense.
The only satisfaction I get is from denying them contract$ with larger organization$ at every available opportunity.
Comcast cannot be improved the…
Comcast cannot be improved the employees lie to you to make money for the company. They promise mobile phone promotions with their company. Free mobile lines with the company for a year than begin charging your bank in 5 or less months. The chat line won't get a human to help you which is a horrible experience. My daughter reviewed this company October 8, 2025 an email reply came back by Tom karinshak insured her to help with the problem because he was one of the owners within the company. Never heard from him again. If you are dealing with this same issue please reply with some advice on what steps to take from here. Thank you MCF
Worse service overall
Worse service overall. No one knows nothing. We needed a simple transfer of address took over hours and days of calling them. Canceled our services and went with another company
I have not had Internet since Monday at…
I have not had Internet since Monday at 2 pm. Service guy canceled our appointment today. We have not been able to run our business since Monday at 2. This is unacceptable.
Dishonest People
I cant wait until my contract with them ends, They are not honest people. Please be very careful with them and REVIEW THAT AGREEMENT in detail before signing.
I have been a loyal Comcast/Xfinity…
I have been a loyal Comcast/Xfinity customer for over 20 years, and this has been the worst customer service experience I've ever encountered.
I submitted two separate disconnection requests for my Comcast Business accounts in May 2026, completed all required paperwork, and returned all equipment with documented proof. Despite following Comcast's procedures exactly as instructed, both accounts remain active months later and continue to accrue charges, leaving me with a balance exceeding $1,000 for services I cancelled.
I have provided signed service orders, DocuSign cancellation forms, equipment return receipts, and UPS tracking information confirming Comcast received its equipment. Yet, no one has resolved this issue.
Customers should not have to spend months trying to get accounts closed after doing everything required of them. It's unacceptable that a company of Comcast's size allows accounts to remain open and continue billing after confirmed cancellation requests and equipment returns.
At this point, I am left with no choice but to consider legal action if this matter is not corrected immediately.
If you're considering Comcast Business, be aware that cancelling service may become a much bigger ordeal than signing up. I sincerely hope Comcast improves its cancellation process and customer support so others do not experience what I have.
Horrible Experience, Forced to Use Comcast Business
I am forced to use them in the office space I rent. Customer service and communication are terrible. I am stuck with them and have to spend hours on thr phone to try to get answers. Avoid them at all costs. If you cannot avoid them like me, be prepared for horrendous service.
