I have now completed 2 re-mortgages and a purchase in the last 6 months and I have been very pleased with the service. I highly recommend Commercial Trust if you are serious about property.

Fantastic service from day one
Fantastic service from day one. I re-mortgaged 3 of my buy-to-lets at the same time and it took exactly 3 weeks from start to finish for all 3.
Helen and Jon-Luigi are a credit to the company. I couldn't be more pleased. They were both there to help at every step along the way without being pushy.
Brilliant! I would have awarded 10 stars if I could.

Be Careful
Be very careful using this company. I was told they could get me a mortgage on my small property and said they had a very good lender that was very flexible in terms of their requirements. Unlike a lot of brokers, Commercial Trust charge you on a non refundable basis before an application is sent to the lender but they told me that they would get a solid agreement in principle from the lender before I paid and the application was submitted. I went through numerous hoops in providing information before this agreement in principle was allegedly received (I have seen no evidence of this) and now that they have my money, they have made the formal application which has been rejected. They say they have taken the matter up with the lender but I have seen no evidence of this either.and seem more interested in covering their own backsides in this issue than trying to give me customer service. They have of course refused to refund me the £400 I paid hiding behind their terms and conditions.

Pretty average performance and not convinced on fee charged is value for money as most of the work done was by myself chasing through solicitors to get the completion on time.

An Excellent Service
Commercial Trust helped me out of a complex financial situation which I doubt any other organisation would have been able to do. My husband and I have therefore been able to keep our property investment which was crucial to our future retirement plans. Highly recommended, always polite and helpful.

Excellent Company
This is an excellent company with exceptional customer service. Robbie was able to locate and arrange a mortgage at a very competitive rate within 24 hours of our initial contact. After the mortgage was agreed, Georgina, Lucinda and Amy took over the administration of our house purchase through to exchange of contracts and completion, and provided an invaluable and efficient service in keeping things moving and chasing up solicitors etc, whilst at all times being completely delightful to deal with.

This firm is very efficient
This firm is very efficient, a little expensive but worth the extra, i love that they have an "admin team" that is there to chase up all the solicitors and generally just ensuring everything is progressing. Ive used them twice now and both times been smooth. The fact they charge you a fixed fee regardless of who you mortgage is with means they will find a lender suited to your criteria, as opposed to a independent broker who will try and push you towards a lender that earns him the highest fee, this has cost me hundreds in the past of wasted valuation fees etc. Always ready to answer my questions and run through some numbers before finding a property. Intend on using again in the very near future

Easy to deal with and professional
Easy to deal with, kept me fully updated throughout the process and explained everything in detail. This mortgage was part of a chain and they were really helpful in sorting out and chasing up the other parties involved which was great! The staff were all really professional and easy to talk to and had no problems getting through whenever I needed to speak with them

Excellent Service by a great team.
The Service provided by commercial trust was excellent. They paid attention to my requirements, selected the right product,provided regular updates and chased the lender when I needed the things done quicker than usual. They were very knowledgeable, supportive and professional even when I Was losing my patience with the lender! I want to thank Rebekah,Chloe and Lucinda for their hard work. OK Lesson learnt. Don't use brokers unless they can provide documents to substantiate what they are claiming to sell. Despite long involved conversations over the phone they charged an application fee for a mortgage which could never be provided because it didn't meet the lender's crtieria. Simple enough for them to check the underwriting rules of the provider and if they couldn't get these should have owned up. Still easy way to make £400. Can't work out whether they're dim or disingenous or both. Now lodging a complaint via Financial Ombudsman.

Excellent caring and knowledgeable professionalism , received from Commercial Trust members of staff. They work as a Team.
Henry patiently called me several times as requested. Not directed or pushed to take any product. However, he listened, gave information, outlined options which enabled me to make an informed decision.
Kelly is an exceptional case handler, goes an extra mile and makes you feel extremely looked after. She liaised with The Mortgage Broker, Solicitors and kept me updated even with minor details.
Exceptional staff. I plan to use their services again very soon . Definitely, I will not hesitate to recommend Commercial Trust to family and friends.
