Great service over and beyond
Great service over and beyond the required from Shannon. I had a difficult case due to buying a HMO without previous landlord experience and not owning a residential property. Shannon was unable to provide a mortgage, but went over and beyond her responsibility to provide me with other options to purchase, which although not viable were greatly appreciated.

Help me all the way kept me updated with regular phone calls and emails everyone I was in contact with was very pleasant and helpful and always returned my calls would recommend.
Holiday let mortgages are very far and few between at decent rates but with a little help from commercial trust, they were able to find a couple which met my criteria.I know sometimes people prefer to go into a branch but give them a go it's well worth it no hassle at all and they explain everything completely.

An inadequate experience, I wouldn’t go back
An inadequate experience, bad communication and poor management. Took a remortgage out with them reluctantly as they wouldn’t refund my initial deposit of £300 to go elsewhere. I wanted to go elsewhere as I was offered a smaller amount than what was advised. I found out that Commercial Trust didn’t ask me the correct questions and therefore the lender (TMW) offered me less based on my earnings which were too high. I went to the financial ombudsman on their recommendation and complained but I found out that B2L mortgages are not protected under this scheme. Thanks for wasting my time further! There are hundreds of brokers, do go elsewhere. 2 stars awarded based on completing the mortgage with them with regret and gaining a small discount on their fees.

Any dissatisfaction expressed by a client is a very serious matter and is dealt with as such, by us. Having looked at the details of your complaint, I can see that we have responded to you, in full, regarding your allegations.
As a financial business we have rules to follow when dealing with complaints. One of those rules is that if we cannot resolve a complaint to the consumers satisfaction, we must provide referral rights to the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS).
Once a complaint has been referred to FOS it is for them to decide whether their rules allow them to look at the complaint. We are able to raise points with them when they make contact regarding a complaint, but cannot second-guess the decision they will reach or, worse still, deny a consumer their referral rights to begin with.
I hope that this clarifies the process for you.

Fantastic Pro-active service. Well worth the money.
The service from Commercial Trust has been fantastic.
I have previously tried to use another company that advertises no aditional fees. What the I found with them was no additonal fees ment zero service. Commercial trust has been on the ball all the way from start to finish even being proactive chasing solicitors and searches. Cant fault the service.

The deal took about 21 months to go through due to its complexity and the vagaries of using multiple solicitors but Commercial Trust was absolutely fantastic!!
They went the extra mile on many occasions for me including facilitating Formal Complaints procedures against some of the solicitors. I am experienced in dealing with solicitors and I don't know where I would be without them.

My credit history was very poor with lots of debt. It has taken us 11 years to get remortgage.All the Credit and thanks to Robbie Clark and Lucinda at Commercial Trust for making it happen for us.
The briliant customer service easy and quick.
Robbie explained everything and organised.Lucinda kept us updated all the till the end.

Amazing Knowledge & Service
Hi All,
A bit of background first to put my review into context. We were purchasing our first BTL property and the mortgage fell through as my wife unexpectedly lost her job. This meant we had to find a mortgage in just my name, which was proving nigh on impossible to get the amount we needed. After exhausting all options myself and speaking to two brokers I was without success. By both brokers insisted my only option was peer to peer lending, which came with a high fee and interest rate. Luckily I tried one more broker: Commercial Trust. I dealt with Callum and the service was second to none: polite, knowledgeable, and most importantly they were the only broker to find me a mainstream lender. Callum did this after taking into account all of our information. Cannot recommend Callum and Commercial Trust highly enough. Great customer service. Dr Jeff Pilot.

Commercial mortgages
Commercial mortgages were the only broker I contacted who were willing to try and get me a mortgage due to my personal situation (self employed for only 18 months, buying a HMO etc). They managed to get me a mortgage when everyone else I approached wouldn't even try.
The staff there are brilliant. Everyone I have dealt with has been knowledgeable, informative and friendly. Throughout the whole process (which took over 18 months, not through fault of Commercial Mortgages) they have been supportive and really helped me overcome any and all difficulties I was having with lenders.
The staff are also extremely efficient and keep me well informed at all times. Both by phone and email.
Highly recommend Commercial Mortgages and I have nothing but praise for my experience with them and with the staff I have dealt with.
Special mention to Samuel Debenham who got a well deserved promotion. Think the guy is brilliant.
