Great product had the car seat for a little while now absolutely brilliant and for a fair price even better to know they are British and made in Britain

Hello everyone and Cozynsafe

Now I didnt want to have to write this post, but I've been left with no option currently.

So I bought a Cozynsafe Comet 360+ car seat from Very. Had seen good reviews about the brand of car seat, so thought id give it a try for my son. The car seat itself is a good looking seat, comfy and well padded for a newborn.

My partner had to go to the doctors for a appointment, weather was absolutely boiling, so put little man in a vest, t shirt and some joggers.
Sammie started driving to the doctors which is only round the corner so not a long journey, for my son to start screaming and becoming deeply distressed. Sammie was really worried because he's not done this before. Sammies daughter said mum theres scratches all over Caydens arms, for Sammie to notice as Cayden lifted his arm, the extremely sharp Velcro plastic edge was in contact with his skin, causing the injury. Obviously we weren't aware these edges were like a blade until this incident occurred. We tried to adjust the pads but you cant as the pads are stitched to the belts and I wasnt prepared to cut them off when the seat is brand new.

I get in contact with very for them to start a investigation and then I went to cozy n safe and raised this also, they collected the seat and left us without a car seat for over a week even though I explained that they should send another seat.

The response was you will get a email about whats going to happen. - There was NOTHING

I was also then told that the scratches were inconsistent ! And the scratches should be on the inside of his arms ? Hes 3 weeks old at this point! How an earth has my son done this to himself, when he can't even reach his hands together?

To then basically be accused of me causing the harm, as they said it might not be the product that's caused it?

The company insinuating that I could of caused harm to my child is absolutely disgusting!

To me cozynsafe are not wanting to take responsibility for this, there is a fault with the car seat, whether that be all of that specific model... I don't know. But it needs to be checked and looked at thoroughly, before it causes damage to another newborn or child. They apologised, Cozynsafe said they are taking this seriously, yet on the initial phone call they couldn't even take the details of his age correctly.

Basically cozynsafe dont really care or have any remorse, all they have done is apologise and agreed its serious as theres a 3 week old baby involved! Im sorry but you can quite clearly see from the photos / evidence that you've been sent, this incident is down to your product.

My son flaps his arms when he wants feeding (he's fed on demand). It seems in the eyes of Cozynsafe, my son shouldn't move in the car seat. Well if I knew the velcro straps had pretty much 'bladed' edges, he would obviously never of been put in it.

So im sorry Cozynsafe, but im making this publicly known.

Your car seat has injured my son, you know that 100%.
Take some responsibility for your product, it injured a 3 week old baby.

Last thing.
The company Very - I purchased the car seat through them. The car seat is made by Cozynsafe, yet Cozynsafe are now trying to blame it on Very and saying Very should be dealing with this.
Absolutely shocking.

This company should be ashamed with themselves. It has taken weeks to get some sort of answer from them and I still have not got a proper answer from them.

Car seat snapped in half with minimal force whilst trying to remove it from the car. Took weeks to get a response from the company who eventually collected it to review the damage. Again, weeks have passed with no response on the car seat or what is happening with a refund/replacement.
Shocking customer service. Don’t waste your money.

I ordered a Neo I-size booster seat from Cozy n Safe and it was delivered very quickly despite me living in a really rural area. The booster seat is exactly as it looked online and my child says it is very comfortable to sit on. I’m pleased with my purchase and I would happily order from Cozy n Safe again.

I am writing this review as a serious safety warning to other parents.

I purchased the Comet 360 car seat just over 2 years ago. Recently, the plastic buckle mechanism SNAPPED completely while we were just fastening the seat belt during normal use. It was not in an accident, it just broke from day-to-day use.

The plastic is incredibly thin, flimsy, and brittle. I dread to think what would have happened if this had failed during a collision when my child’s safety depended on it. It is terrifying that a product designed to protect children is made with such low-quality materials.

When I contacted customer services to report this dangerous fault, they showed absolutely no empathy or concern. They didn't apologise, they didn't ask if my child was okay. They simply replied saying "that will be £9.99 for a replacement part".

I have lost all faith in this company and this product. I will be disposing of the seat immediately and buying a different brand. I have also reported this safety issue to Trading Standards and the Office for Product Safety and Standards to ensure it is investigated.

Please do not risk your child's safety with this seat.

** Update 19/6 - Further contact has been made with Cozy n safe Tech team after a number of similar reviews have been found sharing same concerns!

Good strong chair not use it yet because it’s for grandparent's. Delivery was quick.

Quick delivery and a very smart car seat for our new Grandson! Well packaged and great value for money.

Bought 2 car seats for grandsons, both excellent prices. Speedy delivery, I am very impressed!

I did order the sleeping suit but I received the vest

I ordered these for a family member who is having their first baby. We ordered one for each car. The price was brilliant (almost half of some competitors) and they were delivered the next day. The car seats are made to an amazing standard and we especially liked that they are for babies up wards to the age of 12yrs. They also swivel making it easy to get the baby in/out the car. We are really pleased and impressed with the car seats and the speed of delivery too. Thank you

Terrible customer service. Contacted 08/01/26 requesting info on how to buy replacement inserts for car seat (my address was provided on this email), no response. Contacted again 22/01/26 chasing up my original email expressing urgency due to me being 36 weeks pregnant. A response received 23/01/26 advising they have them in stock and requesting my address to send over payment details?? My address was on the original email anyway. I sent my address again regardless, however there has been no response and no payment details have been received.

Good quality, strap is hard to tighten but other than that good

I placed an order for the Fuji I-size got a confirmation email for the order saying next day delivery I placed this order on the 29th of November 2025 it’s now the 4th December and I haven’t had any more emails the car seat hasn’t been delivered!!!! I have emailed them and still no one has got back to me! Avoid at all cost clearly they don’t care enough about their customers.
