Charlotte is a skilled, knowledgeable, charming and welcoming tutor as patient and forgiving as the copper she will teach you to form into a bowl that will exceed your modest expectations. Treat yourself to this 2 day course and let her help you surprise yourself - trust her, her tools and the process she knows so well - you’ll know you’ve done an honest day’s work but I think you’ll agree it is worth it.

This is the 2nd time I've purchased a gift voucher (email) and it has always gone through very smoothly with the recipient getting it almost immediately and then being very pleased to use it towards choosing a craft course or unique hand crafted gift.

Alex delivers an absolutely fantastic course and he was so conscious of making sure he shared his time and expertise really well between the three of us that attended. We're super proud of the axes that we made and it was all down to Alex's teaching skill! It was such a fabulous day, and we will definitely be back!!

The day was extremely well organised with abundant resources. The tutor, Judith, was welcoming and helpful, supportive when needed. It was a lovely activity altogether.

What an amazing course again. Holly is a fantastic, informative and patient teacher. With her vast knowledge and experience, she is one of the best educators. I had a little free motion experience, which Holly taught me last month, this helped me to grasp the concept of using free motion sewing, along with fabric, to produce a picture. It also gave us experience of dying silk fabric along with cotton. Well worth attending one of Holly's course, would highly recommend them, they leaving you wanting more. You certainly don’t need any previous experience to enjoy one of these courses. Thank you Holly so much, hope to join you again in September.

I have received a great experience, made a very cool ring for myself with a tutor help! And she was also kind to give my idea a go and helped to bring it to life, transforming to a special ring.

I have recently attended the ‘Slate Mosaic’ workshop at Jo Garden Art.

What a welcoming place, great knowledge, location and teacher.

The materials were expansive and the tuition very informative and helpful. Jo really does make you feel capable no matter what your level of creating and ability.

This is the second course I have done at Jo Garden Art and I’m sure I will be back.

Booked a 2on1 session for my wife’s birthday, Claire was very friendly and welcoming. Took us through the full process of what we would be doing and how everything works.
Then we got to build our fused glass project. Definitely can’t wait for them to be fired so we can see the finished product.

I did the forging course at hammer and hounds and loved the entire experience. Getting to do something amazing like forging and then you get to keep what you make and use it every day as a memory - it’s by far one of the best things I’ve ever done. Alex is a great guy too, I probably just could have spent the day watching him make it look incredibly easy. It’s worth every penny.

Was a good day out, very educational. He was very willing to step in and help people at the various steps knowing when to step in and when to step away. Great day, very educational.

Wonderful course. Fiona is a whirlwind of energy, determined to give us as much hands on experience as possible. Amazing to be printing so many examples of paper and making two books in one day! Highly recommended if you like to learn by doing with someone knowledgeable and extremely well prepared, so that you can get on with the doing.Also if you like going home with something special to show for your efforts!

What a lovely way to spend a morning. We had a great time making soap, ably taught by Claire and Diane. They provided such a great choice of essential oils and colours, and taught us how to make, and cut, soap loaves, as well as individual soaps. We were even provided with pretty things to wrap them in, to take home. Thoroughly recommended.

Bertie is very good at delivering the course with knowledge, enthusiasm and patience.
The course is very useful for someone like myself, looking to diy in off grid solar.
Having taken the course and with the detailed handbook to refer back to I feel confident in tackling a system that I can build and add to over time.

Louise is a fabulous teacher explained everything very clearly and I had so much fun doing botanical casting Id booked for another of her courses for next week before I'd even left this one! Loved this and would recommend to anyone wanting to get away from everything for the day and just relax ❤️ "

Did the two day basket weaving course run by Eddie Glew. He was a fantastic, helpful and facilitative teacher. The setting was great and the refreshments and meals were superb. A memorable day, highly recommended.

I attended the Stool Making course on 14/6/26 and was pleasantly surprised to find just 2 of us on the course.
It was a great day and numbers allowed a lot of 1:1 support which was fantastic!
Matt has a great teaching style that was encouraging and supportive and never condescending.
Will definitely consider doing other courses with him!
Facilities were basic but great, enough for what you need and supportive of the environment etc.
I still have quite a lot of sanding to do to finish up but the day reinvigorated my desire to get back into woodworking! Thanks.

Very enjoyable course learning about lino cutting, designing. Inking and printing. Hywel was very helpful and did a lot of translating as I was slightly nervous about letting loose with my pigeon Welsh. Lovely venue too.
