We engaged Creative Ecommerce LTD for Shopify development and CRO for our business, but it turned out to be an incredibly frustrating and expensive mistake.

Instead of tangible development progress, we were trapped in an endless loop of convoluted Figma designs that completely failed to give us a realistic visualisation of what our actual store would look like. When the process dragged on with no real development work taking place, I made the decision to cancel the project and asked for a fair refund. We paid for Shopify development but received absolutely zero usable deliverables.

Instead of acting professionally, their support team dragged out my complaint for well over a month. They then hid behind a strict "no refunds" clause in their retainer contract, tried to shift the blame onto us for their lack of progress, and offered "unused hours" in a broken process rather than returning our money. I even offered a very reasonable 50% compromise to settle the matter amicably, which they ignored entirely once the deadline passed.

Be warned: they will take your money via Direct Debit, deliver nothing of practical value to your business, and fall back on their terms and conditions to keep your funds when you realise the service isn't working. I strongly advise any business looking for a genuine Shopify agency to look elsewhere.

Had a great experience with Preston and the rest of the team working on StainSolver.com which is hosted on Shopify as a B2C company. The price was more than fair for the work completed. And, at the end, we weren't handed something we couldn't advance to the next level ourselves. Anything we can't figure out, Preston and the team are quick to provide feedback and support. Thank you!

From the initial consultation all the way through to the design, development and testing phases they have been outstanding.

Their team has experts in every aspect of landing page optimisation, and they are able to give very thorough analysis and suggestions which not only make a lot of sense but actually generate results.

There’s a number of tools that they’ll get you to set up like Microsoft Clarity and Intelligems, and they actually show you through the tools what’s working and what’s not working.

Some tests don’t produce results, but the ones that do have a significant uplift in overall sales.

After 10 weeks and $10,250 in payments, I was presented with what was described as a near-complete website build. During my review, I found that only 8 of approximately 36 customer-facing links routed correctly. The remaining links routed to incorrect categories, unrelated pages, placeholder templates, or incomplete sections of the site.
Major business categories were missing or improperly configured, and the website was not in a commercially usable or launch-ready state. Communication throughout the project did not accurately reflect the condition of the build ultimately presented for review.
When I requested a full refund due to the state of the deliverables and loss of confidence in the project, the request was denied. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company.

I don't usually write reviews but I feel like this one deserves it because I was genuinely on the fence for a long time and I wish someone had written something like this when I was making the decision.

I run Zayabi, it's not massive, but it's mine and I've put a lot into it. I built the original website myself and honestly for a long time I told myself it was fine. It wasn't fine. But there's something about handing your brand over to someone else that feels really uncomfortable, especially when you've been so hands on with everything from day one and had bad experiences before.

I'd looked at a few agencies before I got to creativeecomerce, some of them were fine but they felt very templated in how they approached things, like they had a deck they showed everyone and they'd just swap the logo out. One of them quoted me a price before they'd even looked at my store properly, which immediately put me off.

I want to work with people who are curious about what I'm doing, not people who've already decided what the answer is before they've heard the question.

The first call with Creative Ecommerce was different. Haroon had actually gone through the site before we spoke and he came with specific observations, not generic stuff, actual things he'd noticed about my product pages, the mobile experience, where he thought people were dropping off and why. To be honest I was surprised I hadn't noticed a lot of it. It was clear he'd spent time on it. That alone made me take them more seriously than the others.

I asked about it directly on the call what it meant if things went wrong, and the way it was handled gave me more confidence, they explained best and worst case scenario, and after seeing how many problems i'd missed on my store, I was confident that even if we didn't work together forever, they could fix everything quickly.

Once I signed up, the process was more structured than I expected. There was a proper design walkthroughs before anything went to development, which I appreciated because it meant I could actually see what I was getting before it was built.

I was involved throughout, they'd share designs, I'd give feedback, they'd come back with revisions. Nothing felt rushed and nothing went forward without my sign off. For someone who is quite particular about how the brand looks and feels, that mattered a lot.

Communication was consistent the whole way through. I had my own point of contact, she replied same day without fail, I knew what stage we were at, and the board they setup meant I could check progress at any time.

I've worked with freelancers before where you send a message and you're just waiting and wondering, and it creates this anxiety where you don't know if the project is on track or not. That didn't happen here.

Everything was documented on the board, calls were recorded, and I was sent recaps. I never felt like I was in the dark. The handover was smooth as well. When they launched the site they walked me through how to update all of the information on the pages and showed me different ways to do it on my collection to save time.

As for results, conversion rate has improved meaningfully since the new site went live. The add to cart rate is better & I can actually make updates without contacting a freelancer. But honestly the thing that means the most to me is that the site finally feels like Zayabi.

It feels like the brand I had in my head when I started this. The visual identity, the way the product pages are laid out, the way it reads on mobile, it all feels intentional now in a way it didn't before. That's harder to put a number on but it's real and I notice it every time I open the site.

I'd recommend them, particularly if you're a smaller brand who's worried about being treated as an afterthought compared to their bigger clients. I never felt that way.

I was even able to use a payment plan with them at the start so we could keep running ads.

I felt like my project mattered and that the people working on it actually cared about getting it right.

I recently reached out to Creative Commerce after seeing some of the work they've produced for other Shopify brands.

From start to finish, the response times and professional approach to booking in the initial meeting were way beyond my expectations and any other company i've dealt with.

As part of the discovery call, Haroon was very thorough and made sure to clearly understand my needs and even came prepared with a very good understanding of our brand and website. After the discovery call, Haroon and the team conducted a free audit of our entire site and flagged so many areas we were leaving money on the table and simple things we could improve to improve our conversion rates.

At the time of writing this review, im not even technically a client but i felt compelled to leave this review purely based on my experience so far.

There were no pushy sales tactics, and Harooon actually gave me some feedback and app suggestions I can implement myself even if we don't continue with creative commerce.

This and the rest of the approach is a level of service that is hard to come by and I thought I would share this review so that if anyone else is in doubt, just book the free discovery call and make your own mind up from there.

I'd 110% recommend them to anyone with a website, even if not for Shopify, they have built a landing page for one of our services too which has seen amazing results.
