i have emailed the collections team and welcome call team you don't get any response my agreement has incorrect details on there despite informing them on the welcome call and it seems the feedback surveys are being some how done on my behalf by someone else as when u click the survey email it says already completed I also have a missing payment which still has not been allocated yet and its has been over a 2 weeks already nobody has given any feed back from the collections team

update on this review the team has now made contact and i am just awaiting a response once done i will update my feedback hopefully my experience will be positive god willing

We continuously have problems with our downstairs wc, it continues clogging even if we just flush it (just water). Every time this happens we have to open a ticket on the DAMAC Living app to report the problem. It was “fixed” already countless times, but the problem keeps on coming back. We were told that there is a fan that blocks the pipes from flushing properly, but nobody is willing to fix this. We got to the point that the company who is supposed to fix this refuses to carry out the job. All of this is so ridiculous, it’s a brand new house, a few months old and still under the builders warranty.

I live in a brand-new DAMAC villa that is still under warranty, and the after-sales support has been an absolute nightmare. The build quality is very poor and getting defects fixed has been one of the most frustrating experiences I have had in years.
For weeks I had to chase the DLP team for basic help with broken items and obvious defects. Calls were not returned, messages were ignored and I kept receiving delays and empty promises. The only time anything really moved was after I escalated the matter several times, including to DLD. Suddenly, within a few days, many issues were addressed and at the same time I was pushed to leave positive reviews and to close my official case. I closed the case in good faith because I thought they finally wanted to help properly.
On 12 December 2025, the DAMAC employee Khaja Arif asked me to post a positive Trustpilot review and even sent me the exact text to copy and paste, including the “DLP” wording and employee names. He also asked me to send him a screenshot after I posted it. These are the word for word WhatsApp messages I received:
“If you can Please write as mentioned below and submit - it’ll be great help.
“ Thanks to DAMAC DLP team - khaja arif for following up on my works and closing the issues. Mr Rizwan Syed Ali - Team lead for meeting with me directly and provided a confidence that I can be safe hands. Really and greatly appreciated the DLP teams efforts to make us happy”
Please share me the screenshot once review submitted.”
I can prove everything I’m saying with screenshots of this conversation. Unfortunately Trustpilot does not allow attachments in reviews, but I can provide the screenshots to Trustpilot or the relevant authorities if requested.
What I find especially concerning is how many positive reviews here mention the “DLP team” and name employees personally. People should be careful when interpreting those reviews. A normal customer usually does not even know staff names. The employees do not wear name tags and often do not introduce themselves. And no customer would know that they call themselves “DLP team” internally unless they were told. You only learn this term when they pressure you to mention it positively. The number of reviews that name staff and praise the “DLP team” reads like a pattern, not like genuine customer feedback. If you look at serious companies, it is actually rare to see positive reviews that mention employees by name. With DAMAC it seems to be standard practice. Make of that what you will.
Today is 21 January 2026. After the case was closed, the support stopped again. I am back to being ignored while defects are still pending in a brand new villa. It is a shame that everything has to escalate like this. Now I have to report it again to DLD and I will also hand the matter to my lawyer. From my experience, it feels like they drag things out on purpose, and I am seriously concerned they delay until the warranty period runs out.
I am an entrepreneur from Germany. I understand that standards and processes can differ from country to country, especially in construction, and you cannot always expect German standards. But what DAMAC delivers and how they handle warranty support is on a completely different level, far below any reasonable expectation.
What makes it even more suspicious is the Trustpilot score itself. On 12 December 2025, DAMAC was around 3.1 here. Today, on 21 January 2026, it shows around 4.5. A jump like that in just about a month, combined with a sudden flood of overly positive reviews mentioning “DLP team” and naming employees, is very hard to ignore. Their plan to mislead people seems to be working.
Completely unprofessional and dishonest. Be very careful with DAMAC. Honestly, stay away from DAMAC. And if you have already bought and it’s too late, and you start seeing how they treat you, open a case with DLD and involve a lawyer as early as possible. Otherwise you will just be delayed and “managed” until, in the worst case, your warranty period is over.
