No one answered the phone to take my…
No one answered the phone to take my order, so I went on line to order. Once the booking was complete it gave me a 3 day delivery date, but the oil did not arrive until over a week later!
The cost was also an issue, I am aware that prices go up in difficult times. At the time of ordering petrol had gone up 8% but heating oil was nearly up by 100%, how can that be?

Hi Lee,
We’re sorry to hear about the delay and the difficulty reaching us — demand has been exceptionally high recently, which has affected both call response times and delivery schedules.
In terms of pricing, heating oil rose more sharply than petrol in part because it’s linked to the same part of the barrel as jet fuel, which was hit hardest during the recent Middle East disruption. This pushed wholesale heating oil costs up significantly more than petrol.

Very rude driver
Very rude driver . Drove into fence did damage to property . Sat in lorry shouting and thumping steering wheel . Kicking lorry totally unreal . As a lorry driver he should have realised he couldn’t driver forward , he needed to go forward and reverse into the space .

Sorry to hear we weren't helpful with the update.
I've checked the account for the email address you are reviewing from. The business name matches the @domain of your email address.
Is that correct? If you can email feedback@darchoil.co.uk with your business name then I will ensure it's updated (if not already) on your file.
It could be that we created a new account for the updated business name (without closing the old account) in which case we'd have both on record. If you can let me know the previous company name then I will ensure there aren't duplicate records.

No issues with the delivery. Its not an easy site as the driver had to navigate a vegetable patch and wood pile .
