Do not buy if you have a dog
After waiting a long time for the product - It was delivered while I was out.
We own a dog and the packaging was not strong enough to deter our dog breaking in and eating 3 bars of chocolate - I now have a very sick dog and sick all over my house including my bed
To be honest the product is not worth the wait and cost - And now could kill my dog

Matt, I'm genuinely so sorry to hear your dog is unwell and I really hope he's OK.
Just to reassure you on one point, we don't use xylitol, the sweetener that is particularly dangerous to dogs. However, chocolate itself can of course be harmful to dogs, so please do speak to your vet urgently if you haven't already.
Your chocolate was sent inside our sealed cardboard postal box, but I'm very sorry your dog was able to get access to it after delivery.
On the delivery time, we do state a 3 to 5 working day turnaround as we make our chocolate by hand, so the order wasn't actually late. However, I completely appreciate that's rather beside the point when you're now worried about your dog.
We'll of course give you a full refund.
Most importantly, I genuinely hope your dog makes a speedy recovery. Please do let us know how he gets on.

I'm really sorry about this, Neil... and genuinely gutted that Royal Mail took so long to get your chocolate to you.
Just to clarify for anyone reading, we made and dispatched your order within our stated 3 to 5 working day turnaround. Unfortunately, after that it seems to have got stuck somewhere in Royal Mail's network for several days.
I'm not sure I'd quite give Royal Mail the full fortnight 😂... but I completely appreciate it must have felt like it!
I can see it's finally been delivered today, so I really hope you decide to give the chocolate a try after all that waiting. However, if you'd rather return it, that's absolutely fine too... send it back to us and we'll happily refund you.
Sorry again, Neil. We got it out on time, but ultimately you just wanted your chocolate... and I'm disappointed it took so long to reach you.

WOW!!! This chocolate is absolutely amazing. It's smooth, tasty and smells gorgeous
I have steroids induced Diabetes and have struggled so much to find sweet treats that don't spike my blood sugars. This chocolate keeps them level but still gives me the chocolate hit that I've so missed in all the other sugar free chocolate brands out there I've tried.
I can taste the purity of the ingredients and find I don't need much to satisfy me.
Customer service is excellent, items are in pristine condition and delivery is quick.
I love the added touches, a letter from Dan the owner thanking me for my order, a WhatsApp group for help and support and regular money off coupons to make it even more affordable.

Once you've had this chocolate you realise how sweet and sickly the major brands are. Proper tasting chocolate that isn't made for chewing, just let it melt in the mouth.

You've absolutely got the technique, Nigel... don't chew it, just let it slowly melt! 🍫
Because we use proper cocoa butter, letting the chocolate melt on your tongue is when all those rich cocoa flavours really start to come through.
And you're right about the sweetness too. Once your taste buds adjust to chocolate without loads of added sugar, going back to some mainstream bars can be quite a shock!

For me, proper chocolate should actually taste of cocoa rather than sugar being the main event. So hearing that you've tasted the difference and don't want to go back is a huge compliment.

I was really pleased to stumble across Deliciously Guilt Free chocolate. It’s rare to find something that actually tastes like proper chocolate and doesn’t send my blood sugars all over the place. The flavour is smooth, rich, and genuinely satisfying — nothing “diet” or “compromise” about it. I was so impressed after my first try that I signed up for a subscription straight away. It’s become an easy, reliable treat I can enjoy without worrying about spikes.

The bit that really means a lot to me, Pete, is that you don't see it as "diet" chocolate or a compromise. That's exactly what I wanted to create... proper, rich chocolate that just happens to have no added sugar.

Had paid nearly £50 for 4 bars of chocolate. 48 hour tracked delivery.
Delivery never came after 5 days, offered a refund or another shipment. Requested refund, royal mail returned to sender.
Not a luxury experience, can't rate the chocolate. Was a present for someone. Don't do luxury high end if the experience can't match the price.

I'm genuinely sorry this didn't feel like the experience you were expecting, Luke... especially as the chocolate was intended as a present.
There does seem to have been a misunderstanding around the delivery timing though. We make every single bar by hand from the raw ingredients after you order. At the point your order is placed, your chocolate is still cacao, cocoa butter and the other ingredients waiting to become a bar!
Because of that, our website clearly states a 3 to 5 working day turnaround before dispatch. So at five days, your order was still within the timeframe we quote.
The 48 hour tracked service refers to Royal Mail once the chocolate has been made and dispatched.
If you ever need an order for a particular date, please just ask. We regularly prioritise orders when customers tell us they're for birthdays or gifts, and we'd happily use Tracked 24 where needed.
I'm genuinely sorry you never got to taste the chocolate. We absolutely want the experience to match the quality and price... but making genuinely high quality chocolate by hand does take a little time, which is why we try to be very clear about that upfront.

P.S. For the benefit of others reading this - Luke ordered on the 17th Aug and we sent it 4 working days later 21st Aug. Royal Mail was unable to deliver it to him and he recommended me swap service to DPD (not sure if RM has an issue in his area). We offered a new delivery or a refund and he choose a refund. We try our best and we can't please everyone but at least you have the full story now. Dan

I have been recently diagnosed as pre diabetic and ever since then, i thought thats it i can't eat chocolate until I found this place advertised online which they sell chocolates without all that added sugar so i thought why not try their chocolate out and i actually bought my first four pack of mixed chocolates from them. Once, it came and i tried my first bite. The flavour is just absolutely amazing and delicious, taste and smells just like real chocolate and just to think it hasn't even cause my blood sugar to spike either is just unbelievable. Thank you Dan and the team for making and selling such amazing chocolate, definitely will be ordering more for sure.

That's exactly the problem I wanted DGF to solve. Chocolate should still feel like proper chocolate... rich, delicious and something you genuinely look forward to eating, just without all the added sugar.

This is proper chocolate with a real cocoa flavour, which I decided to try as I am type 2 diabetic.
I used to be addicted to the big British brand but, since trying DGF chocolate I have realised how fake the big brand tastes!
I had the pack of four and honestly cannot pick a favourite.
Definitely Delicious, definitely Guilt Free and definitely worth every penny!

What you've said about actually tasting the cocoa really matters to me. I wanted to make proper chocolate where cocoa is the star, rather than loads of sugar and palm oil doing the heavy lifting.

Reminded me how chocolate should taste! Rich and filling, you don’t need to eat so much (but can). The products that are on most grocery shelves today are loaded with sugar.

One thing I hoped people would rediscover with our chocolate is what chocolate actually tastes like when cocoa is allowed to shine, rather than sugar taking centre stage.
I also love your point about not needing to eat as much. That's one of the biggest compliments we receive... a few squares can genuinely satisfy the craving instead of sending you back for another bar half an hour later.
