Customer service was fantastic in the lead up to buying the diamond. Laura spent a lot of time educating me on the basics of diamonds as neither my husband or I had any idea what we were looking for. As soon as the diamond was chosen paperwork was signed however they became slow in regards to communication.

I was told my diamond would be near colourless and that to the naked eye you would not see any colour, when I arrived in store I was shocked at how yellow the diamond was. The refund policy for a large diamond is nearly non-existent so I am now stuck with an engagement ring that I do not like. (Thanks Laura)

Poor quality jeweller is used, I have had to send ring back twice in 12 months both times due to poor craftsmanship. A stone fell out of band 2 weeks after it had been replated, and I had to pay for the replacement because they claimed I shattered the stone (I must be stronger than I realised!) I asked for a letter from the jeweller to explain this so I had proof for insurance and I did not receive it. They also refuse to disclose which jeweller they use so that should be a red flag in itself.

At this stage I am unsure if I was even sold a real diamond, I am going to take the rings to a gemologist to find out if they can find the GIA inscription because I bought a jewellers loupe and have not been able to identify it.

If you have a look at the profiles of the people that leave glowing 5 star reviews on Google, you will see that they have not reviewed any other businesses which leads me to believe they are fake accounts.

I really think it is worth paying the extra money and going to a reputable jeweller, especially if it is for something like an engagement ring that you have to live with every day.

Diamond Exchange did a fantastic job making my ring with a beautiful diamond. I was a little unsure about ordering online but my husband talked me into it. I had very specific requirements in what I wanted for my diamond and Laura was really helpful sourcing the perfect diamond.
