Love the new Dimplex storage heater…
We're delighted with the new style high heat retention storage heater. We love being able to program it.
We'd be happy to replace our others in due course and recommend the Simplex QM-HHR series.

Dimplex Alta Wi Fi panel heater
I purchased a Dimplex Alta Wi Fi panel heater which according to Dimplex on their website can be controled via wi fi.
What they do not make clear however is that you need to purchase a separate wi fi hub at a cost of around £130.
Further the instructions that come with the heater confirm how it is to be wired and wall mounted and how the temperature can be increased or decreased but no mention of how to operate the timer on the heater.
An email from Dimplex points you to their website for general help but nothing on how to set the timer.
I thought that by buying a product manufactured in the UK, I would end up with a quality, useable item and I could trust the manufacturer - it seems not in the case of Dimplex.

Fairly straightforward.
Took me a while to figure out that the product doesn't have a serial number and I had to type in a series number which I'm hoping is correct.

For the Fan Heater DEUF2N there is no 'serial letter' or 'serial number' on the heater. There are 3 codes, but none are classed as a serial number or letter.

Difficulty with activating the Guarantee
I had great difficulty activating the guarantee with neither the QR code or the email address working. No phone No. either. We finally managed it by email nearly a fortnight ago. I bought a rugged fan heater…
I bought a rugged fan heater manufactured by these guys in dec 2022 so less then 2 years ago and very rarely used it. it has a cut off switch which has failed (due to not being fit for purpose)and apparently as I haven't registered it they are refusing to do anything about it that's 70 quid down the drain stay away from this company

So I purchased a British product…
So I purchased a British product…. ‘Back British Products’ 5 year guarantee, I thought brilliant.. then when registering for the extended cover, I had to find the model number, serial number etc… and at the side was a little sticker!!! Manufactured in the PRC

Great control with Dimplex Quantum Heaters.
We got 3 Dimplex Quantum Storage heaters installed on the 7th November. They were pre set with certain settings but after a few days we had to re-adjust downwards the times and the temperature of the heaters in the 3 different areas. The heaters are so much better than our old heaters, they do hold the heat for longer and are more controllable as well. We have a perfect heat in all 3 areas, and the daily cost has reduced considerably. Initial early thoughts are they will save us money and keep us warmer over the winter months. Downloaded the Dimplex app and you can change everything from your seat
