Shape up Dimplex
First the email address didn't take me to the registration form.
After finding the form by searching Google I reached the point where I had to upload the receipt for my dehumidifier. When taking a picture with a mobile phone the format is jpg.
The form wanted a pdf file. Not being computer savvy it took a week to get someone to change the format.
They did say it's probably to put me off sending it.
Then the 'not a robot' wanted me to do four tests, all of which were ambiguous. (Does the rider count as part of a motorbike? Yes apparently. Does an overhead sign count as a bridge? Yes.)

I was unable to complete the on-line…
I was unable to complete the on-line registration of the product since the "system" did not recognise my entry of DXFF30TSN.
I therefore called the 0344 number and was answered almost immediately by a gentleman who completed the registration within a couple of minutes

Lack of liaison with energy companies on the part of system deliverers.
Didn't like clicking noises made when radiator was trying to get up to 21 degree temp which it doesn't seem to be able to do easily when weather is rather cold. EDF seems to be terrible about answering telephone calls and queries about tariffs for system of Economy 7/10 which is not yet set up.

Poor Refund Policy
I bought a Dimplex hub which suddenly stopped working In September 2023 when still under guarantee.
I spent hours trying various "fixes" suggested by Dimplex as they refused to accept the unit was faulty.
None worked, so I gave up. This Autumn I tried the fixes again to no avail and again contacted Dimplex who now declared the unit faulty. However, now out of guarantee, they refuse to replace.

The heater meets expectations as far a heating capability. I miss the blue tooth control which the previous heater had.
The control is difficult to see in terms of temperature setting and timer adjustment.

Very stylish and compact piece
Very stylish and compact piece. Love the clothes drying mode which works remarkably well. No auto switch off and its a bit too noisy to leave on overnight.
