Reliably excellent
There is never a disappointing experience with Dishpatch. Delivery is always on point thanks to DPD. Triple-boxed for temperature control and total security, meals are well presented and straightforward to prepare with clear instructions. We particularly love the dishes from Angela Hartnett and, although we are far from vegetarians normally, Bubala.

The Lobster Thermidor was very…
The Lobster Thermidor was very disappointing. when the meat was eventually prised from the shell it was rubbery, tough and tasteless.

Lisboa a disaster.
I ordered Lisboa which was very disappointing. The pork was so tough that we didn’t eat it. The fish lacked real flavour The sauce was good but sauce on toast was not what we were looking for. It was not a cheap choice. I shall not be joining your club again.

Completely underwhelming Paul…
Completely underwhelming Paul Ainsworth’s med style monkfish. Scallops tiny, no more than one mouthful. Potato hash greasy and stew and dessert less than ordinary. From Gousto at £30 ok but £95 exorbitant.

My first order from Dishpatch and I was…
My first order from Dishpatch and I was very happy. Compactly delivered, all in separate containers, with easy to understand instructions. Everything was fresh and well portioned, and the quality of dishes was excellent. My only quibble is that the ice packs are not recyclable; I had to put the 2 bags into my bin as the contents cannot go down the drain or onto my garden, and (as suggested, freeze and reuse for picnics), I have loads of ice packs from other companies. This is one thing I think Dishpatch really need to address, as after 5-6 meals throughout the year I'm going to be inundated with ice packs! Apart from that, I'm looking forward to my next meal from them.

We hear you on the Gel Pack front. At a high level it's quite a difficult thing to balance. With water based solutions such as Ice packs, as we deliver all over the UK, the Gel packs we use in our packaging retain much more cooling than water based alternatives, which given the nature of our product is super important. Not only for keeping our menus as fresh as possible during transportation, but also form a food safety and wastage perspective. Which we appreciate is an in depth response (perhaps a little too much so) though it's something that we're always looking at improving if and when we can. It's absolutely on our radar.

Fantastic value and great food
Yet another fabulous meal. We decided on Andi Oliver’s Antiguan Chicken Roast and wasn’t disappointed. We had food that we have never eaten before and what a revelation. The meal was for two which suited us. Having said that the chicken was huge and the rest of the portions were large. So much so that we had it two nights running and the remainder of the chicken with salad at lunchtime on the third day. Such great value and nice to eat restaurant quality food in the comfort of your home.

Restaurant quality as a takeaway. Love it. I’ve been a Dishpatch customer since it launched and have never been disappointed. Too many great experiences to pick out one chef or restaurant in particular.

Some brilliant dishes
Quite superb first and third courses. Lovely fresh flavours.
But be warned the main course consists mainly of a very large steak which you may not wish to have to cope with.

This was another delicious dish from the Queen of spicing
This was another delicious dish from Sabrina. The smack of spices when I opened the packaging slapped my senses awake. The cinnamon vinaigrette was particularly amazing. The bastille was tasty and comforting and the haloumi equally delicious. We enjoyed this meal with friends who all raved about it.

Restaurant quality meals
Meals from Dishpatch are always restaurant quality. The Mezcla menu however was slightly let down by the hard and inedible tostadas. We have had issues with delivery delays in the past and perhaps clearer labelling on the box would help (maybe larger print in bright colours rather than the discrete blue print in one corner).
