Like everyone else, I'm also a victim of Dona hair. They sent me an item that's COMPLETELY different from what I ordered.
When i emailed them they said because of high volume of orders, they used the different supplier but quality is the same. Which is not true. It was a cheap straightener wrapped in bubble wrap with no instructions. DO NOT BUY FROM DONNA HAIR

Do not use this company. I bought straighteners from them. When they arrived they were American voltage. I used a connector they would not switch on. Contacted company got an e mail to say they were on sale no refund or replacement. E mailed them to say they did not work and advertisement states 15day money back guarantee. No reply stay away from them they are not a reputable. I have lost my money. Mrs Green

I wish I could rate zero! I’m furious, received hair straightener after 7 weeks, not what they advertised at all! Just a cheap plastic thing. I so wish I’d seen these reviews before I ordered. DO NOT buy from this company, they are just a load of scammers!

I would give zero stars if I could, and I think that this business should be shut down. Ordered which took over a month to come. Only to receive a cheap-looking iron as big as ever. Nothing like what is being advertised. I normally don't comment, but I am furious due to the fact they are indicating it was a sale item really.PLEASE DO NOT BUY. I wish I would have seen these reviews 3 months ago when I first ordered the straightener. It took 3 months to get it and when I did.. it was not what I ordered!! Trash company!!

Do not order the straightener from Dona Hair. I recently made the mistake of ordering the product thinking I was going to receive the straightener as advertised. What I received was not at all the same product. It didn't even work as advertised. In fact it was simply wrapped in bubble wrap and mailed to me without a box or instructions. When I emailed them, the representative Moura claimed that the website discloses that because of the high volume the manufacturer was out of stock and therefore may use another vendor to process the order. That the product and packaging may be different. Moura completely disregarded my request for a full refund and simply wished I have a great day. Complete false advertisement and SCAM!

Do not order from DONA HAIR they are SCAMMERS. They never delivered my order and when I texted them they kept telling me it was on the way. They could not give me a tracking number bc they never shipped it.Its been over 2 months. DO NOT ORDER FROM DONA HAIR!!!

Sooooo gutted!! I’ve had the same experience!! Arrived in an envelope with bubble wrap! No Dona-hair packaging to be seen. Terrible pair of straighteners and they don’t even have an on and off button. Unsafe and not fit for use!! After 7 weeks of waiting I’m so dissapointed. Lesson learnt - if something seems too good to be true, it probably is 😟 awaiting to see if a refund will be given? After reading reviews doesn’t seem likely. Instagram should be vetting who is allowed to advertise on their app, because if I hadn’t been scrolling through Instagram I’d never have come across this SCAM!

Terrible , the Dona Hair Straightener Pro is a Scam. I ordered one and waited 5 weeks, when it finally arrived it was a completely different product. Looks like a $2 piece of plastic. When i asked for a refund or exchange i was refused. Do not buy this product.

I ordered hair straighteners on August 13th arrived t yesterday and they are cheap plastic with a two pin plug and are nothing like the ones advertised do not buy anything off this company here's hoping my credit card company will help me get my money back complete scammers and false advertising they want reporting to trading standards

I have already written a review, but want to do an update. I paid by debit card, contacted my bank today on a online chat and after answering a few questions they refunded me straight away on a charge back.

They are now going after Dona Hair for the money. Top marks Halifax.

I'd advise you all to contact your bank as you won't get anything from DH.

My story is the same as everyone else, same rubbish has arrived, doesn't even work. Tried to cancel my order 3 times even before it was dispatched,got me nowhere, these con artists are very clever and have an answer for everything. I'm gutted I fell for this scam .

SCAM

Firstly beware at checkout being charged twice!!

After patiently waiting x2 months for this product to arrive, I finally receive x2 asian branded 'Yateng' straighteners that let off a burning electrical small when plugged in.

I contacted the company and was advised by 'Kathy' that due to a large order volume they have gone through another supplier and the product and packaging may look a little different...this is obviously a completely different product.

Additionally they will not refund or replace the product with the correct one.

I have reported them to the authorities and my bank will be contacting their bank and getting my refund for me.

This deserves no stars to be honest.
I ordered the Dona hair pro straighteners. I waited weeks for it to arrive. It finally arrived in an envelope with no box, no instructions and was wrapped in bubble wrap. It also wasn't the the hair straighteners I ordered from the website. The ones I received had no name on them and looked plastic and cheap with a 2 pin plug. I wish I had found this website before I purchased the hair straighteners. The website is false advertising a product that doesn't exist. When I emailed the support team explaining I was unhappy with what they sent me, they replied saying when their main supplier is out of stock they use a different supplier and assured me the product was the same quality. Surely as a company you would make sure the other supplier has the EXACT SAME product right? Such a poor excuse. I also asked for a refund and they said I was unable to get a refund as I purchased it on sale. I've actually NEVER seen this product full price, it's ALWAYS on sale and that's how they get out of giving you a refund.
I have not tried the hair straighteners as they look like they will blow up or something as they are cheap looking.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS WEBSITE AND AVOID AT ALL COST!!!!

Has anyone who has written a review contacted trading standards or received a refund? Because I sure will be contacting them as this website needs to be shut down for false adverting and for being a BIG SCAM!!!!

Sadly fell for this fraud, sent for the blue bottle Dona Hair serum instead, I received two green packaged asian bottles advertising ginger on the package which you can by on the internet for a MUCH more cheaper price. Ladies beware of these scamers, not even send you the merchandise they falsely promote.

What a load of RUBBISH not what I ordered. Plastic Chinese crap. Not 1 set but 2. Even wrong adaption American plug for GB. SCAM.

No stars would be the preferred option. Ordered Straightener Pro - received a very cheaply made plastic straightener that does not do anything their advert claims they do. No customer support and for me to send them back for the 'promised' refund would cost me more than I paid for them and there is no guarantee the refund would be forthcoming from other reviews I have read. Complete scam, I would urge anyone considering purchasing these to stay well clear.

If I could give no stars I would. Like everyone else never got what I ordered, plug is not even for my region. I still have not stopped try to getting a refund. This is a scam.

Did not receive what I ordered instead I got a cheap one that doesn’t heat properly very dissatisfied doesn’t even look like the one I order don’t purchase as you won’t get what you paid for

Zero stars. Sent different item, which I can't even use as does not have uk plug, am not able to get a refund. If it looks too good to be true it probably is!!!
