The original machine I ordered and paid for was not available. The company quickly let me know that. I ordered a different model and the company refunded me the difference and the machine arrived a couple of days later. I would highly recommend this company. The machine was a Bonsaii and is brilliant.

Worst purchase ever made. Machine not fit for purpose. Engineer visits confirmed, Don Ruffles said its manufacturer, - manufacturer said 'Customer must be abusing the machine'...Shocking response!! If abusing it means shredding small amounts for approx 30 mins per day 5 days per week I guess we are guilty. The poor engineers arrived at a kind of solution to fix the inadequacies of the machine but we are left with a cobbled together structure. Don Ruffles failed to engage.

I have just had the best possible experience with this company and am shocked and suspicious to see some badly rated reviews prior to mine as they are the opposite to my experience.
I bought a Bonsaii shredder to replace a like for like that had been good for a few years. It arrived the next day, well packaged and looked great, however the machine failed after a short while so I contacted Don Ruffles. They suggested a couple of things, but they did not work. So I found out I had to email the technical department and I thought they would possibly make me wait but straight away Mel called me back and offered me an exchange after I detailed the problem. Rather than expect me to send mine back first, the next day a new one arrived! Such good service! Unfortunately the machine did the same thing so I think it was a batch fault. I emailed again and Mel called me back quickly and suggested a couple of alternatives, or I could have a refund.
I chose a Fellowes one that is beefier and better for the job and is perfect. They delivered this the next day - and the other 2 shredders were returned from my doorstep the day after that free of charge.
What on earth does this company have to do to please some people? They are absolutely the best on price and the best on service that I have received in a long time....don't avoid them like some reviews say, just email them if you have a problem as they cant second guess you! I find if you speak to people as though they are humans with feelings the same as yourself you get a far better response - everyone is happy. This company is the best I have dealt with in a very long time and the Fellowes shredder is the best shredder I have ever had too - I listened to Mel's experience and am very glad I did. Thank you so much for your expert and professional business attitude - I have no hesitation in recommending your company.

Reported issue with Kobra shredder, We were contacted with 72 hours by David Greenland who then responded to any further emails very promptly. Shredder was sent in for repair and returned within 2 weeks in full working order. Excellent service and communication throughout very pleased.

Not only were they the cheapest on the internet (30% cheaper than our regular office outfitter), they had the best comparison engine to allow me to make sure we purchased the right machine. Credit to the couriers, the shredder was delivered a day earlier than expected and was exactly as advertised.

I haven't had to liaise with the company about anything so can't comment on customer service, but my buying experience was very positive.

I purchased a Fellowes 99Ci Shredder which does the job perfectly and was available at a great price. The website prompted me to order sacks and oil which I wasn't sure if I needed - the oil definitely helps and the sacks, well they are sacks so I guess you need some!

Arrived on time and no issues thus far

I placed an order with this company, the first part of which arrived after a week. I wanted to make a small change to the second part of the order so called them and 'pressed 1 for sales'.

The person I spoke with rudely stated that he couldn't help me because he was in sales and not 'order progressing'. I gently reminded him that I couldn't be expected to know the difference, to which he responded 'you've got ears, haven't you?'

Apparently, 'order progressing' was option 2 on the menu system. Instead of simply putting me through, though, this surly salesperson lobbed an insult and then put the phone down on me. What a way to treat customers - I wish I'd never spent my money with this company.

I paid in full for testing kits required urgently they did not give me a delivery date and my emails were not replied to and there telephone service is not answered so I fell they are taking advance of the difficult situation

Poor Customer Service - Wow just wish I had read the reviews for this company first......Purchased an expensive shredder with a cash back offer. This only equated to a very small percentage but why promote such an offer if you have no intention of honouring it? Many hoops to jump through which I met but then emails & calls unanswered. I would not purchase again from this company or rec commend their service.

purchased an adding machine which turned out to be inadequate for our needs. We required a faster more substantial machine. After contacting them, they refused point blank to accept return of the machine because the box had been opened. How else could we have tested it? They even stooped to using Covid-19 as a reason for being unable to take it back. So we have bought the bigger machine we wanted elsewhere. Won't be using Ruffles again.
