Excellent service from DP Removals
Moved on 30th April 2021 but only just got round to leaving a review.
I can't recommend DP Removals enough. They turned up on time, took great care wrapping my furniture and putting it into the van. I had them booked for 3 hours and the 2 guys had finished moving everything from a ground floor flat to a 4th floor flat in 2 and a half hours. As they still had half an hour left, the guys kindly offered to put my furniture together for me which took them 3 times less than it would have taken me ! Thanks guys. You made what was turning into a stressful day a lot less stressful.

Fantastic service
The guys were fantastic, quick, efficient, polite and professional. Nothing was too much hassle. None of our goods were damaged as they took extra care to cover them in protective coverings. Worth every penny.

Efficient
In loading and packing up the two removal folk were very efficient and helpful.
My only gripe was due to severe traffic caused by fire in the Blackwall tunnel - beyond anyone's control - the removal van wan took an extra 3 hours, which I was billed in full for. Travel time would have been an hour.
A reduction from full charge would have been a kind gesture. I also did not appreciate the removal people saying they would only leave the property once confirmation from head office that the rest of the funds had been paid. Felt somewhat threatening and if customary could have been explained at booking.

thank you for leaving us your feedback, we really appreciate it!
We understand your frustrations about the delay due to a car catching fire in the Blackwall tunnel, we also got delayed severely as we had to be with another customer after you and the other customer wasn't that happy either.
Unfortunately as you understand, this is way out of our control and as we pay our staff members for the hours they were stuck in traffic, we are expecting our customers to reimburse us for said hours as well. Our initial exchange was a "per hour" agreement so we were charging you normally until the job was finished. You didn't ask for a reduction or a better deal at the end of the day, so we assumed everyone was on the same page and billed you normally.
As with all jobs, our office staff gets in touch with the customer around 20-30 minutes before everything is wrapped up and we kindly ask for payment to be sorted before everything is finished, in case there's a delay or in case the job finishes after the office has closed for the day at 17:00 pm.
Our teams almost never have to stay over to confirm that the payment has gone through because all our customers take care of payment in that initial call half an hour before we finish up. If that wasn't the case with you and there was a delay we can only assume there was a problem and we stayed there in order to make sure everything was ok.
Nevertheless, we are glad you stayed satisfied with our services and we wish you all the best with your new home!

Brilliant job. Reliable and experienced. Moved all of my belongings including 6 valuable mirrors with no damage at all. Would highly recommend!
