Rhys has been extremely helpful throughout the process of choosing and buying our new Sportage. Good product knowledge, answered all our queries and very helpful and kept us up to date on how the progress of our purchase was going. Good handover on collection today and would recommend both Rhys and Kia Scunthorpe.

Could not and would not recommend

Poor Hanover, salesman more interested in getting 10/10 feedback rather than going through fundamentals of car operation.
PDI very poor, faced some major issues post collection due to lack of attention at time of PDI.
Service ever since, very poor to the point I would never entertain dealership any where near my vehicle.

I reserved a vehicle for £99 at Boston

I reserved a vehicle for £99 at Boston. The next day a family member phoned up on my behalf to discuss the car and we were told it was all good and discussing the basics. We then said we would be in touch on Monday to discuss a deal to which they were understanding and agreed. The reservation time frame is 2 days, once it ran out I immediately reserved it again so I would still have the car reserved in time for when we discussed the deal. I then got an email and was told that the car had been sold ‘subject to finance approval’. I was confused and upset as I reserved the car and we were in contact. The dealership told me that they tried to get in touch with me but couldn’t? I had no phone calls from the dealership and my details on the reservation are correct as I have just checked before writing this review. I also was in touch with them the day after I reserved the car? which makes no sense and to me, just sounds like an excuse. They also told me that the customer who then bought the car came down to see the car. I don’t understand how that is possible as it was reserved for the full time period that it was on sale for and that they reserved it over the phone. I also don’t understand that as I reserved it as soon as my other reservation stopped. On the phone I was told that because I wasn’t in contact that is why they had done this however I was in contact through email and through phone calls and told them when my family member would next be in contact as we are all the way up north. I overall find this experience rather sneaky as they were so quick and I cannot tell everyone how I was in contact and how I reserved it again straight away yet somehow they managed to have someone go down and see the car and also reserve it ‘through the phone’ but still have the car available to reserve on both auto trader and their own website. Don’t get me wrong, Ryan who had nothing to do with this deal was nothing more than apologetic and lovely but Callum who I was in contact with was the one who appeared to done all of these sneaky moves. I would just beware when dealing with certain people at this dealership as they appear to be quite sneaky and even if you have reserved a vehicle, they’ll do sales behind your back. Also to my knowledge reserving a car means securing a vehicle whilst you discuss a deal which is what was done and was going to happen.

Drayton Motors Grantham, nothing changes, stay clear!

We have had three cars from Drayton motors Grantham and didn’t realise how conned we had been by them until we left and miraculously our cars passed their MOTs first time with only minor issues, having never passed one while with Drayton and Victor Woods, the previous dealership. We have had compensation for faults and poor customer service (to cut a very long and painful story short, they accused me of moving my own radiator, resulting in a fault, when it had actually been moved by them in a previous “necessary” repair). Today we had the unfortunate experience of having to return and yet again the service level was so low and patronising. I was referred to as Young Lady and Miss, told they would try and see if they “had time to talk to me”, before then talking about taking photos of something together. A person then came to talk to us, was needlessly challenging from the off and then proceeded to say that they are told to “push” messages from Kia and they couldn’t help us with scrappage or purchasing our car because they “don’t sell cars over 8 years old”. On this point a gentleman came out who has just purchased a 15 year old car, which he told me as we were leaving and directly contradictory to comment of car age above.

Overall it was the usual poor experience at Drayton Motors Grantham, it hasn’t changed for years and I hated the fact we had to come back but due to a recall message and an on going fault (one that started while they still serviced our car) made our car break down and we wanted to see if, by some miracle, they could help. They couldn’t, were rude as usual and confirmed they are just an awful place! Stay clear!

When looking became buying thanks to Ryan

We went to look at cars suitable for myself and my partner today. When we got there everyone seemed busy so we were going to go back later. Just as we got in the car a sales man came running over apologising that he was on the phone but was 100% free now. Well Ryan turned out to be absolutely brilliant he showed us all the cars we liked. We weren't 100% going to buy one today but he made everything seem so easy that the deal was done. Ryan was polite professional and a general all round great guy. I don't often leave a review but we wanted to in the hope others will go and get the experience we got. We honestly couldn't have asked for anyone better.

New Car purchase

Visited the new showroom at Boston, initially for a look around, and fell in love with a Kia Niro. The salesman, Charlie, couldn't have been more helpful. I had money to spend and also needed some finance, but even though I refused the "extras ", there was no high pressure selling. The deal was made, and I picked the car up 4 days later. Charlie was polite, extremely helpful and thoroughly professional throughout the whole time. Well done Drayton Motors and especially well done Charlie.

Beautiful new premises, Same brilliant service.

Have left a review before & was interested to see if their move to the quadrant would change the customer experience. Fortunately the experience was a pleasure from start to finish. Greeted by Tracy, who went through the pricing & handed over the courtesy car, with the minimum of fuss. On collection a nice smooth handover & any advisories explained. The quadrant is a little bit further for me to get to, but Kia have an amazing new showroom with ample parking. Thank you for a pleasant experience again.

First service since purchase

Service day. I received great assistance from Tracy, sorting out the details of the work to be done, the loan vehicle and general guidance. The work was done promptly with some additional advice on collection. Very satisfied.

Did a lot of research online about Kia…

Did a lot of research online about Kia e niros before finally deciding to make a trip to actually drive one.
As there weren’t any that fitted all my criteria within 50 miles I narrowed it down to two.
Both silver, both with FSH, both with 38k on the clock and both model 3’s.
One was 50 miles away in Ipswich and the other about 75 miles away near Boston.
Didn’t want to drive anywhere on spec so called both companies to get more information.
Ross Taylor at Drayton in Boston offered to send me a personal video of the car which he did within about 15 minutes.
In fairness the Ipswich dealership were only a bit slower. However, the difference was the very professional and friendly video presentation from Ross which made me feel that this was a car I should make the effort to see.
The Ipswich video was much more perfunctory and didn’t bother with any interior footage.
During my visit and the test drive Ross was polite and professional throughout and answered all my questions without hesitation.
There was no hard sell regarding ancillary products or finance ( I always arrange a bank loan) and I felt comfortable during the time with him.
I agreed to have the vehicle but needed to come back the following week to collect.
The handover was smooth and easy thanks to thorough preparation by Ross and the dealership and made two 160 mile round trips very worthwhile.
I would not hesitate to recommend this dealership to anybody.

Purchase of new car

I recently purchased a new car from Drayton Motors , and the experience was fantastic from start to finish. Cristian was knowledgeable, friendly, and patient, answering all my questions and making sure I found the perfect vehicle. Cristian went above and beyond to ensure a smooth and stress-free process, from viewing the vehicle to finalizing the paperwork.

The pricing was transparent, and there were no hidden fees or surprises. The dealership also offered great financing options, making the purchase even more convenient. I highly recommend Cristian to anyone looking for a new car. I’m thrilled with my purchase and will definitely return for future car needs! Nina 🥰

Service contract professionaly sorted.

Took my kia ceed which i bourght last year from Drayton kia at Grantham to Boston Drayton kia for service which was done while i waited and they also did a curtesy wash of my car for me.
There was a mixup with the prepayed service contract which they promptly sorted out with making it better for me which was all professionally sorted.

Car buying made easy

Upon my initial enquiry, I spoke to Alison who sent me a thorough video of the car within minutes.
I was aware the car needed preparation before I drove through.
Viewed and test drove the car.
Deal negotiated on the Thursday and car was ready for collection on Saturday morning.
Immaculate condition.
Fair trade in on my car.
Hope to do business again in the future

New Suzuki Swift.

Drayton motors have just yesterday delivered my wife and I our new Swift. On arrival to pick the car up it was sitting outside the showroom looking pristine (as it should do really). We were taken into the showroom where we was offered a nice hot drink before anything else was discussed.
Ryan, Georgie, Megan and indeed all the staff on duty yesterday were so pleasant and courteous, we can not praise them enough. This is good old fashioned service as we remember, just not available in many places in this day and age. Big thank you to all at Boston Suzuki.
We did have a few hiccups on the way with the purchase of this new car, but the people at Drayton motors worked through the issues that arose and we got there in the end. Between ordering and delivery of the car, we did have a few issues with a member of senior staff, however on speaking with the business manager this was swiftly (no pun intended) resolved and, we were thoroughly satisfied with the way it was dealt with.
Once again Thank you Paul, Ryan and the team at Drayton motors Suzuki Boston, even though things didn’t always go smoothly with this purchase,( not really your fault Suzuki took so long for delivery), my wife and I still feel we received courteous service and we will be back to see you all soon.

Omoda Nobel 5

I recently discussed a purchase of an Omoda Nobel 5 with Danny at Louth Via the telephone after test driving one at another franchise and who could not offer me a pre register two tone car (Silver and Black two tone), and as it was closer to me at the Grantham branch, I ordered and collected it from the Grantham Omoda franchise with Nick and Corey, the service and the presentation of the car was first class from all parties.
Although we have only had the car for eight days and with it being a new manufacturer to the UK we had some apprehension, its very early days but we are delighted with the car and have travelled over 400 Miles already and have had a number of people enquire who is the manufacturer and mentioning the striking appearance ect, Once again thank all the staff at Drayton Motors Omoda for their professional Help.
