We were able to custom-design a beautiful sofa that fit perfectly in our place, just as we had envisioned. Custom length, the exact color we were looking for in a shade of purple. The sofa arrived on time, even with tariffs, and the price was very competitive compared to other sofas. Outstanding customer service, and the team kept us informed throughout the process.

ordered my sofa on August 25, and was told it would be 4-6 weeks for completion/delivery. I am now entering my ninth week, and still have no sofa. I do not receive any information on the progress unless I reach out to them. three weeks ago I was told my order would be a priority and someone was assigned to my order to personally monitor it.........that has not happened. the latest was last Thursday when I was contacted by the shipper letting me know I would receive it either Sunday, Tuesday, or Wednesday. it is the latter end of Wednesday, and I have not heard a peep (since that last Thursday call). very disappointing customer service with this company

***UPDATE*** Dream Sofa claims my sofa is finished and in the Delivery Drivers hands. The Delivery Driver claims he tried to pick it up, and it isn't ready. Somebody is lying to me here.

JUST BE HONEST AND UPFRONT WITH THE CUSTOMER. Good or bad, the truth will be accepted. but when you start lying or placing the blame elsewhere, you lose me and anyone I know as a customer!

Edited 10/14: the company contacted me after this review. They rapidly resolved the shipping issue and offered a partial refund. The sofa was delivered less than a week after my post. And the sofa is AWESOME: sturdy, well-made, pretty, comfortable. So, I am changing my rating from 1 to 5. I do recommend this company.

Ordered in June. Company says it shipped in September. It is now October and still they have not given me a delivery date. They send very polite emails saying they will resolve it. But, it is not resolved.

We bought a beautiful custom DreamSofa recently and had some issues regarding the fabric. Karla handled our issue in the most polite, pleasant, kind and helpful manner. She went above and beyond to connect us to the correct department and stuck with it until we were very satisfied with the resolution. This company overall has top notch customer service with a very responsive staff. Karla is truly a shining example of what excellent customer service looks like and she is a huge asset to DreamSofa.

I purchased a sofa from DreamSofa. The customer service from designing (with Ryan) and post-order help (with Clyde) was exceptional. When my sofa arrived, one of the legs unfortunately arrived damaged from transport. However, DreamSofa made sure that things were done right and hired someone to come repair it and also compensated me additionally for the damage. Really happy with the sofa and service

Having read all of the positive reviews about DreamSofa and their quality and customer service, we decided to choose them for our new furniture. Having never purchased furniture "sight unseen" we were hesitant, but the reviews had already swayed our decision. We ordered numerous color swatches and thought we found the "one for us". We ordered a sofa, loveseat and two large ottomans...all in Monaco Avenger Pumice. Upon arrival and after a few days we quickly realized that we should have ordered and darker color. The Avenger Pumice was beautiful, but not practical with a Golden Retriever. It was our fault, so we decided to reach out to Karla (our DreamSofa rep) to see what we could do. We knew that this furniture may be the last furniture we would own, so we wanted to make sure that we got it right. Karla walked us through all of the steps needed to not only return, but more importantly exchange for our new color Avenger Driftwood. Cost of the return/exchange was reasonable and when the new furniture arrived, we knew instantly that we had made the right decision to exchange for a color better suited for us. All 4 Monaco pieces (sofa, loveseat and 2 ottomans) are beautiful and we wanted to say thank you to Karla and DreamSofa, we could not be happier!

My dog made a mess of one of our Hamilton sectional back cushions, so I reached out hoping we could get a replacement in the same fabric, if it was still available. Clyde was wonderfully helpful in getting us exactly what we needed, got it processed quickly, and followed up later to ensure we received it and everything was okay. No other furniture shop I've ever dealt with has had this level of customer service excellence. And the sectional itself, well, that's the best quality piece of furniture I've ever owned - or seen elsewhere. It is, as advertised, a dream sofa! It is beautiful, supportive and comfortable. And, thanks to Clyde, it looks practically brand new after a year's exposure to our little family with two very rambunctious little dogs. I'm so happy with our DreamSofa.

Purchasing a custom piece of furniture online is vey daunting, but everyone at DREAMSOFA from Ryan to Clyde made the process run smoothly! Questions and concerns were answered thoroughly and promptly whether via email or phone consultation. And our section - BEAUTIFUL! It is so well built and comfortable. Initially, I had lots of questions about fabric because we have three dogs who love to lounge on the furniture. I wanted to make sure this piece was going to be able to hold up with the doodles. After receiving samples and discussing the pros and cons of each with Ryan via phone consult, we went with his recommendation. We received it in February and it still looks amazing! I ordered a sofa after reading so many positive reviews by Dream Sofa customers and furniture experts. When it arrived, I wasn’t happy with the back cushions — the company made a new, custom, single back cushion at no cost to me! I love the sofa now. Great sofa, great customer service. Communication wasn’t always perfect, but the company came through when it mattered.

I highly recommend DreamSofa. The design experience was easy thanks to Ryan, who sent us innumerable fabric swatches. The sofa itself is beautiful and comfortable. I splurged for the Plush cushions and I'm glad I did. Initially, they seemed a bit too firm. Now that I've had the sofa for a couple of weeks, I appreciate the support the cushions provide. I have every expectation that this piece of furniture will last for years.

I did have a hiccup with the delivery process. The company DreamSofa contracts with was taking forever (several weeks longer than I was initially told). I expressed my concern to DreamSofa and Karla from their customer care team stepped in and had the sofa in my house within days. This is the kind of customer service I wish more companies provided. It would have been easy for DreamSofa to blame the shipping company and wash their hands of the situation. But they followed through on their promise to take care of their customers.

This experience, along with the quality of the sofa, means I will order again when I need a new piece of furniture.

Elbia was the reason I chose Dream Sofa! I did a lot of research on sofas but she really stood out when making my decision! She went above and beyond when assisting me. From size and measurements to fabric and style, she not only answered all of my questions but alleviated all of my concerns. Once I placed the order, she was still so hands on and I really appreciated that. She really cared about my decision, was always so friendly and informative and honestly, it made all the difference!

During the production and inspection phase, Veronica stepped in and provided wonderful customer care! I really appreciated her updates and patience! I was anxious for my sofa and I emailed often but she never made me feel like I was a nuisance! She provided lots of updates and positive energy.

The delivery company had excellent communication and scheduling was a breeze. The two-man delivery team was fantastic! Absolutely incredible - they called ahead of time, arrived on time and were professional, thoughtful, respectful and knowledgeable. The team was careful with every step of the delivery process and my sofa was assembled with care and consideration.

And….. my sofa is gorgeous! I absolutely love it and from start to finish, I could not be happier with my decision!

I can recommend DreamSofa to provide a high quality custom sized sectional. I was able to evaluate 20 samples of fabric and chose the right one. Karla helped finalize the order and am happy with their effort to make customers happy.

About 2 years ago +/-, we ordered the 77" Paris in Durham Green fabric. We chose the medium cushions. Liked it when it came, but the fabric and the cushions were not a good match. The fabric didn't bounce back and looked very saggy and baggy in places with the medium firm cushions. I spoke with Karla, and she made a note in our file, and had the option of taking it local to fix with a credit, or wait and see,which is what we we did. We gave it another full year, and really wasn't looking good, the seat cushions weren't as firm as it was and the sags and bags The back cushions looked round instead of holding their shape. Everything looked horrible and not like a newer couch.
Karla was our hero! She reached out and came to our rescue as soon as she knew we weren't really happy with it. She offered us new upgraded cushions seat and back cushions that are much firmer and hold their shape better. She had them specially made and shipped out White Glove service, and we replaced them. The couch looks better than it did from the start, very comfortable, easy to get off of, and fell in "love" with it v.s. in "like" with it. I was ready to give up, and Dream Sofa saved the day! Exceptional customer service, and extremely happy with the outcome.
I recommend this business fully. Things happen and not all material I guess is compatible with all styles of sofas, but they made it right, and made sure I was happy, even 2 years later!

Red Wine Stain & a Burn Hole, that's what I got for having guests...mostly kidding they're a delight & I didn't need to worry or be angry. Karla at Dream Sofa was right there to quickly help me find & order the right replacement cushion which is a huge savings over having to replace the whole couch which I would have had to do with some other companies. Can't thank Karla enough for her assistance & the great attitude she always has! If I may close with a pun Karla couched the whole situation in a very comforting manner it was a dream.

We decided to replace our couch after much consideration and saving up quite a bit. We had spent weeks looking at various couches at local stores, including driving up to an hour away. Originally, we had thought that buying on-line would be more expensive, but then we discovered we couldn’t get what we wanted without excessive customization…which meant far higher costs. Ultimately, we contacted Dreamsofa after some friends had told us about their experience.

We ordered our couch, and while the team was friendly, and generally responsive, we didn’t understand how their process really worked. We got nervous after they charged us and it took a few days to connect about our design session. After they, we heard nothing until it was finally shipping. The shipment tracking was unhelpful and never updated until the final delivery company was ready to deliver. They don’t use UPS or anyone “known” - the final delivery is made by a company that hires subcontractors who come and pick up from their warehouse to deliver it, sometimes those subs have rented trucks. They also don’t give you many options or much notice about delivery times. You basically need to take a day off from work to accommodate them.
When the couch arrived, it was damaged. We had to send it back, customer service wasn’t communicating with us very much either. Then after a week of frustration trying to talk to someone, they sent the couch back to us, still with a broken base section (it was only in the shipping company’s warehouse). When we finally connected with the head of the customer service team we were quite angry. Karla assured us that she had a plan to resolve the situation. We were to receive the damaged couch, store it in the house, and await a repair service … all before Christmas. In the end, she kept her promises and saved the day. We had the couch repaired and usable the weekend before Christmas. We love the couch, Dreamsofa is great, 100% happy and I would absolutely do business with them again because Karla saved the day.

While it does take some perseverance, they did ultimately seem committed to fixing my issues. The quality of the couch is also fantastic.
