Unavailable car last minute and no apologies or compensation
I would have given it 1 star if it wasn’t for the youg man checking us in and out who was nice to deal with.
Unfortunately the rest of the experience not so great,
About 24 hour before our rental started we were told that our car was unavailable and had no other suitable car, this was extremely frustrating as we couldn’t cancel and find another suitable car with another provider, we had a family of 5 and and we were supplied with a peugeot 208, which was a very tight squeeze.
We werent really offered any good prices as we were stuck with this rental and struggled to actually enjoy crete as we couldn’t travel
comfortably.
I would stay clear from this rental company, reading other reviews there seems to be a pattern of cars not being available and referring to the Peugeot 208, i felt a little cheated.

I had reserve a car in april and they…
I had reserve a car in april and they contacted me 3 days before saying that due an accident the car was not available. They offered me a car of a lower categorie asking for an higher prize. After my complaints they reduce the prize. Then they arrived late at the pick on and one child seat was missing. I had to wait almost one hour to get car ready to leave.

Nach etwas Wartezeit am Flughafen bekam ich ein sehr schönes sauberes und relativ neues Auto einen Peugeot 208 mit nur 7000 km. Der Angestellte der Autovermietung war freundlich und korrekt und hat mich bei Abgabe des PKW zur Busstation gefahren. Es gab keine Probleme und keine versteckte Versicherung ich kann die Firma absolut empfehlen.

!!!! SCAM SCAM SCAM !!! - DON'T RENT THIS AGENCY EVER
I don't know where to start with complaints regarding this unprofessional agency. I made a reservation a month ago and made the pre-payment of the small amount as it was defined and got the confirmation from the rental agency. Within the confirmation, it was defined the meet-up time and place and even mentioned to be there on time so they don't wait for us. So we were there even earlier and waited for 30 min and nobody came. So I asked one of the reps from the other agency to call them and check what was going on. She called them and said they would call me back. They called and told me there was no car for me, they were sorry, that it was only a reservation via Discover Cars and they could find maybe a car from another agency but of course, I would be overcharged for the price of that other car. Of course, I was furious and started complaining immediately by requesting a car and mentioning that I would not pay more than it was agreed in the confirmation. Then one of their reps came and told me they had a car for me but it was a minivan. I accepted at the end because I was hopeless, been there for 2 hours listening to them how they were sorry and there was no car for me.
I took the minivan, luckily, I stayed at Kissamos where there was enough space to park but I am wondering what would happen if I stayed at Chania where you don't have space to park even a bike.
TO SUM UP:
- If you want to waste one of your vacation days, rent from this agency.
- The questions that pop up:
* Why does the reservation exist if they could tell you they don't have your car?
* What does the confirmation mean in that case?
* Who is controlling this kind of agency?
* Why has nobody informed me before that they don't have my car?
* Why did they leave me to wait 30 minutes, and God knows how long if I didn't make a call?
Alert!!! On their site, it refers to up to 30 days to return the deposit but in real life, they claim 30 business days. When I asked why there was a discrepancy between the site and what they claimed, I never received an answer.

Best car rental in Crete so far (third time there)
We just rentes a car for two weeks in Heraklion. Excellent service, met us at the airport upon our arrival even if our flight was delayed. Smart and fast check-in at the airport, even though they don’t have an airport desk. The car was excellent (brand new Peugeot 208)! Especially if compared with other fares for other companies, this was great value for money (and this was our third time in Crete).
Angel, who welcomed us, was extremely polite and professional. Also during check out, everything was fast and smooth.

Great service
Car was available on time and we extended the renting period for a reasonable price. The only thing i can complain is that the admin fee they charged to pay our parking fine was 100% of the fine, seemed a bit too much but ok, the service was great and the guide gave good tips, like where to easily park in heralion

Very bad experience - no car upon arrival!
Very bad experience with drive365 at Heraklion Airport, Crete! Our flight was delayed and we could not contact the rental company because we were allready on the plane! So no car upon arrival and a very unfriendly man telling us our car was gone! I had given my flightnumber when I made the reservation, so if they wanted they could have checked! I lost €58 reservation cost because of this! That wasn't a nice start of our holidays!

SCAM COMPANY
SCAM COMPANY! I paid for extra insurance when booking to avoid the 1400euro deposit. Upon pick up I was then made to pay another £150 for more insurance if i didnt want them holding €1400 on a credit card. I arrived very late at night, the car only had a quarter tank of fuel and i was travelling an hour and half away which then resulted in me not having enough fuel to make it to the fuel station in the morning as it was 19km away. I contacted them for help with breakdown service as I had paid for insurance x2 and they told me it is not covered and to walk to the fuel station which is impossible, 8 hour round trip on foot in 38degree heat?
When I returned the car they pointed out small damage on the tyres and that it was damage caused by me but couldn't produce the photos from pick up and it wasnt covered on the 2 lots of insurance I had paid for, acted like they didnt know about the insurance I had taken out, they had no paperwork with them at all and they failed to send me a copy of the documents when collecting the car.
Im just grateful I didnt leave the deposit as they would of taken all of it!

In regards to the insurance, please kindly note, the FDW purchased insurance does not provide any coverage concerning damages provoked at the underside part of the vehicle, inside part of the vehicle-saloon, wind shields, mirrors, car key damage, the antenna, incorrect fuel, acts of God, Terrorist Attacks, during transportation by ferry without prior written authorization by the company at the time of pick up the car, wheels and tires.
The terms and conditions of the company outline all necessary information regarding the insurance cover. This kind of damage is clearly covered by the customer.
In regards to the fuel mentioned, to ensure a fair fuel policy, we operate on a "same to same" system. This means you will return the vehicle with the same fuel level as when you picked it up.
Mrs. Chloe, in regards to your rental experience, investigation from our side took place.
Upon vehicle inspection during the drop off procedure, it was stated that the vehicle not only was with stained interior and extremely dirty but had several serious damages.
Due to the vehicle's condition upon return, additional cleaning fees were necessary. As well as the damage made to the vehicle, specifically beyond repair damaged tires and the plastic part of the vehicle interior armrest, that was obviously pulled out with force.
Please note, upon receiving the vehicle, terms and conditions were provided to you. You confirmed your agreement to the terms and conditions by signing the rental agreement, including potential charges for damages.
Therefore, you will receive an email from our company, with the damage description, cleaning fees and the photos of the vehicle condition attached.
Please be aware that non-payment may result in legal action as outlined in the signed contract and damage your rental history.
We believe a mutually agreeable solution can be reached through open communication.

Good experience
Booked the car online for a 5 day trip through Crete.
Honestly, we really liked the “meet and greet” type of pickup for the car. The representative brought us the car and came to pick it up at the airport, which was really convenient. It made it so much easier to not go to a kiosk.
Chose a Volkswagen Polo, but got a Peugeot 208 (which is a similar economy model). The car was new and clean. Really nothing to complain, a decent car to drive through Crete.
The representative was a nice guy. Tried his best to help us with our questions and was very patient.
Whenever we had a question, the company was easy to contact through phone and Whatsapp.
Would definitely recommend the company and choose them again in the future.
