This is a rental car company with excellent service, highly recommended. The car's performance and appearance are very new, providing a great experience. The staff Joseph, provided me with outstanding service and responded quickly.

The pick-up and drop-off at Hobart airport was easy. The car (Toyota RAV4 hybrid) was clean, easy to drive, and very economical. I would highly recommend DRIVE.

I hired a small car for a week and I was very satisfied with the car and the arrangements to collect and return in easy walking distance to Hobart Airport. The hire was at a very competitive price and I would not hesitate to recommend Drive Car Hire.

The entire process, from pickup to drop-off, was done extremely well. The car had a dent on the side door but apart from that, it drove very smoothly and there were no hiccups. A great service that I will gladly use again.

Really smooth process from start to finish. The highest level extra insurance is quite reasonable and worth it for peace of mind. A really pleasant experience and it’s not too often you can say that about hiring a car! Recommended.

The pick-up of the car was very quick and well organised. The staff was very friendly and supportive. The car (Toyota RAV4) was in a very good state, neatly cleaned and easy/comfortable to drive. This hybrid vehicle significantly reduced the necessity to fill up fuel. A good vehicle to cruise Tasmania.

Loved driving the Corolla,easy to drive very economical and comfortable. Used my phone on google maps for navigation got us everywhere we needed and also streamed music.
Forgot to take the QUAD LOCK holder of the windows Bugga.
Would use DRIVE again.

Recently I hired a Tesla for a 4 day trip in Tassie. The car was clean and battery fully charged on arrival. I found the car easily and the instructions on how to collect card/key were clear. I had a query at collection which was quickly answered by a phone call.
No issues with billing and absolutely no issues on return of the vehicle. I would recommend and use them again.
Also for anyone hiring an electric car, there were more charge points than I had imagined and many were 50 - 80Kw charge which was refreshing

We got our car through a travel agent but they were great to deal with. Car was just like our own car, so it was easy to drive. Pickup and drop off location the same and so easy. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company for your car hire in Tasmania.

Very simple booking process which meant all information was supplied which made collection at airport quick and easy. Return was even easier - just drop the key off where the car was picked up!
The car was in very good condition but as we chose the cheapest SUV it was rather under powered but that was our problem!
Overall cannot fault the whole experience which is unusual when hiring a car!

Very happy with the state of the car when we collected it. All info we needed was in the car or emailed in a timely manner. Car ran beautifully. Obviously a good working relationship with Tasmanian Vacations who organised our holiday.

Very helpful when we hired a car in Hobart. Easy pick up in town and drop off at airport. Good on price . . . and I loved the Tesla (pity about the bloke who makes ‘em 😜).

The car was a Kona and was new and very clean and excellent price for the 9 days taht we hired it.
To hir at the hobart airport and have all of the paper work completed before arrival and have to deal with anyone was excellent.
The staff were so easy to deal with.

We (2) decided to take a self drive ( clockwise)
around Tassie with our travel agent booking the car. Very well documented info was sent by Drive Car and when we landed in Hobart, this info made getting the car from the rental area incredibly easy. A Corolla hybrid was the car we were driving - it was very well groomed and the boot space took 1 large, 1 medium suit case, and a cabin bag comfortably. Not having driven a hybrid before I was amazed how responsive this car was, very good fuel economy. It was a great option for us 👏 and put the icing on driving through such a beautiful place.
On returning the car to the rental area that too was just as easy, even though there is no “office” the airport.
We’d seriously recommend Drive Cars for the simplicity and great service.
