Simplicity
I like the simplicity of just getting in the car and go. An added bonus is being able to look at trips after the fact to invoice customers based on service time and travel charges.

Useful and Simple Logbook Tool for Self-Employed Drivers
Driversnote is very easy to use and convenient for tracking mileage. The interface is friendly and everything is clear from the beginning. It makes keeping a logbook simple and organized without wasting time. I have had a very positive experience and no complaints. A simple and easy way to monitor your mileage
I have used Driversnote for three years now. It makes tax accounting so simple with the automated trip tracking and downloadable reports. I've moved from manual diary systems to this system that automatically tracks every trip across our vehicles. At tax time simply download the report. Great job team.

Seems to track all my trips and relatively easy to add tags for business purposes. It would be nice if the tags were not always in alphabetical order and I could drag my tags to place my most used at the top.

Tracking works fine even with just app…
Tracking works fine even with just app if you use manual tracking. Haven't tested the gadget now but honestly don't see many advantages as it's no dongle connected to the car, still using the phone for GPS tracking. And here is exactly the downside, if you want a solution working reliable without any phone you definitely need a more expensive solution. Anyway for me it's perfect and costs are affordable.
