Coming from Melbourne Australia solo travelling was overwhelming but Dr Dogan and his team are amazing and very supportive.

The process from start to finish has been an absolute joy. Kerem being the first point of contact, is very welcoming and patience. He responds to questions at a reasonable time and ensures I understood. Mary, who assisted me through every application/tests on arrival and is an awesome communicator, always catering to my needs and my husband. The nurses, surgeon, and staff, were very supportive and helpful throughout my stay in the hospital. Their presence brought so much comfort. Buse, the nutritionist is the sweetest soul you ever meet. She is so thorough in her work, she really cares about your before and after care. I currently stay in touch with Buse, she is wonderful at providing tips and updates on what o can eat at every stage. Dr Dogan has a great team behind him and I highly recommend them.

What made my experience really good was how welcoming & helpful the nurses were. The transport & driver was also very nice. Although it would have been better if there was a translator as the nurses didn’t speak English. But overall I was really comfortable from the beginning to the end.

Thank you to Dr Dogan & his wider team for their upmost care of me while I was in Turkey. Dr Dogan visited every day to ensure I was recovering well & the wider staff were just as supportive. The facilities were absolutely beautiful (better than the hotel if I'm perfectly honest!) I am glad that I made the choice to do something for ME & that I chose to go through Dr Dogan. I had a terrible experience, not one person spoke English it was all using google translate on their phones. I had a drain fitted for two days in which time they told me I would be fine to take them out, my stitches burst on the plane, spent 10 days in hospital and had a vacuum drain fitted for 6 weeks, still back to the dressing clinic twice a week. No follow up from the clinic in Turkey, just wanted my money. Not happy

I had surgery 2 years ago. I am extremely happy with the results. I have lost 40kg in total which I just couldn't do over the years alone. The team from start to finish were great in looking after not only me but my partner too. I was informed of everything and the nurses were very caring, putting me at ease. I recently had gastric sleeve surgery performed by Dr Dogan in Turkey, and I couldn’t be happier with the results so far. I am 17days post op and I’m also at 100% as my middle cut is still tender but I’m telling y’all Dr Handsome comes highly recommended from me. I have lost 26.6 lbs thus far. The service from Dr Doğan and team from airport to and fro, hospital stay and hotel is 200%. The team are amazing from the beginning to the end you are well looked after any questions you have they doctor and team will give you the best answer. I'm so glad I did this together with my sister and also at the service of Doctor Mahmut Dogan and his team. The nurses were amazing and sweetest and very helpful.

Dr dogan is an amazing surgeon with a great bedside manner. All went smoothly. The only thing I would say is I don’t think his social media team are doing him any favours with all the ai generated super hero stuff. It takes away from the fact of what a good surgeon he actually is. I must admit I had full confidence in him before my surgery but I think if I was to be looking for a surgeon now that would definitely put me off.

We flew from the UK to Turkey so I can have the gastric sleeve done by Dr Dogan. The whole experience was fantastic. Ozzie was great from the beginning with details from booking, to meeting us at the hospital (lovely chats with her), transport pick-ups on time and all the way to departure - smooth runnings. Dr Dogan was great, his team is excellent from Mary who kept me informed and calm pre- and post operation, Dr Seymur or as my husband called him ‘The Gentleman’ was fantastic and took great care of me post ops, and Buse who was very thorough with diet and nutrition advise and patiently answered more questions even after we arrived back in the UK. What a team! The nurses were so lovely and caring- the language barrier wasn’t a bother. The hospital A++. If you can impress my husband, who pays intense attention to detail, you know it is next level- he pointed out you know a place is extremely clean when the ventilation grids are properly cleaned.

To dealing with Mary and Buse at the Hospital made everything easy to understand and transitions were smooth from hotel to hospital and hospital to hotel. Surgery was a success thank you to Dr Dogan and his team. This new life changing journey will be one to remember. Will definitely come back to Istanbul for a visit. Highly recommended to anyone thinking of doing the Gastric Sleeve.
