DU has this ability to pass the book and never resolve anything for their customers & I know I am not the only customer who is experiencing this. See Z screenshot below.
The level of customer care is beyond appalling but it’s because DU have rendered there staff useless by taking away all power for them to be able to help customers.
I hope this message reaches the right person so I can simply downgrade my plan to the 150 plan.
I was informed call back in 24 hours it will be fixed. Yet another lie from DU customer care to to pass the book.
I was informed go to store, when I arrived at the store I was told I need to call. It’s all about passing the customer around in circles.
I am only giving 2 stars because the guy in the shop was nice and I could see he’s just not been given the ability to help.
I have lost absolutely all respect for DU at this stage given how they are happy to treat paying customers and a good customer I might add.
No way to connect support
No way to connect support. They simply removed all human agents so now if any problem occurs (and they occur quite often!) it won't be solved, AI will tell you to restart your router and drop the call. Good luck understanding why internet stopped working. Not to mention that prices are crazy

Worst connection ever. Need to switch on and off more than 10 times in a day. To cancel the connection they are not allowing to do easily. They made me to hold call for nearly an hour and yet didn’t responded. Don’t go for Du home wifi

I have visited to Du Store dated 12 January 2026, all the customer care Advisors was not having them’s seat, all was walking around with those selected consumers. Almost 2 hours i wait there at store, but still i didn’t solve the matter. Please make sure to surve properly to the consumer because we are not taking anything free. We are paying bills properly. After that we cannot bear these type of shi behavior.

Wasted 7 hours of my life trying to cancel a DU wifi package. Involved numerous calls and visits to their branches in Dubai Mall and DIFC
DU makes it incredibly difficult to cancel a contract, my advice would be to use Virgin, which offers amazing customer care and better value

Worst costumer care on earth! Their agents harassed me on the phone with calls and msgs non stop until i agree for a plan change, then all the charges they said i wouldn’t be charged THEY CHARGED AT THE END. So much stress. They are trap makers. Be careful and never choose du.

This is by far the worst billing team I have ever dealt with. Since April 2025, I have received an incorrect bill every single month. Not once. Not twice. Every month. Despite countless follow-ups, explanations, and requests, the same mistakes are repeated without accountability or learning.
What makes this worse is the sheer waste of time. I am forced to spend hours each month chasing corrections for errors that should never happen in the first place. This reflects a complete lack of internal checks, competence, and respect for customers’ time.
If a billing team cannot get something as basic as a monthly invoice right after repeated escalations, it raises serious questions about their processes and professionalism. This ongoing negligence has caused unnecessary stress, frustration, and loss of productive time.
Deeply disappointed. Strongly not recommended.
A horrible experience with DU
A horrible experience with DU. I visited the Al Ghurair du branch and was given wrong information that led to a huge unexpected charge. After multiple calls and promises of callbacks that never happened, I even received a message saying my issue was “resolved” when nothing was fixed. This has been exhausting and unacceptable. du, I need real support and a real solution.

To continue the bad reviews, not that it will do any good because there’s only 2 cell phone companies in the UAE. But Du is the worst phone company in the WORLD. I’ve lived in 12 countries visited twice that. Du stands above or should I say below all the carriers I’ve ever used. They will lie right to your face. That or their people are simply clueless. Not only that they are so absurdly expensive it’s ridiculous. They are thieves but again. When there’s only 2 players they could care less. I don’t even know why they bother with a customer service team.
Bad experience
My current contract is due to expire they called me 1 month earlier to offer a renewal with a discounted package and upgrade speed which I agreed. They didn't mention that they will need to stop the Internet and change router. They suddenly cut the Internet and said it will take 8 to 16 hours to replace the router. Already 1 day and no Internet. I called twice and they said they will call back but no one called yet.
