1 man on his 55-60s of the staff, gray hair probably glasses, maybe not from the UK, has been really impolite and rude with more than one passenger with no real reason. He should remember that he can work thank to passengers and kindness is not something you can negotiate. Shameful person.

Maybe I will start with some context. I am Irish and grew up in Donegal in the 80s and 90s so before Terminal 2 existed. I moved to the US in the early 2000s but travel home 5-6 times a year. I am writing this from the ground side Bewleys at 11.30 am after landing while waiting on my car rental. But I wanted to say I am absolutely appalled at the availability of food and refreshments since tge last time I visited. Compared to Shannon it is an absolutely awful. You can either have over priced burgers at Fitzgeralds, garbage at Spar or garbage at Supermacs? Why is the idea of decent food at an airport completely disappeared in Dublin. Oh and please do away with the stupid ordering kiosks. They should be banned. Super disappointed!!! Oh and the airports own feedback site is broken.

Well here I go again, I have reviewed before and I have given the airport time to reply and I’ve given them a very simple task. Gate 303…… flying to Moldova with my wife to go see her family. Dublin Airport made a big deal about adding more of these flights and all I’ve seen is more trouble. Disgusting toilets again. People openly smoking, urinating on the floors…. Absolutely 3rd world stuff. Wouldn’t happen on the 6am flights but it’s like the airport gets abandoned and we are all left to fend for ourselves at 10PM for our late night flights. An absolute disgrace. If I could get there any other way I would. An embarrassment to the county

Why are any of the staff either totally uninterested in their job or disdainfully sneering to people around them.

The only good thing about Dublin airport is USA pre-clearance which is the only reason to use this airport. Lord help you if you have a connecting flight and get stuck waiting at one of their very remote gates. Poorly designed hard metal seats and no concessions. Airports in general suck, but this one doesn’t even try to be good. And don’t even get me going about Aer Lingus…shameful how badly they treat their customers. I’ve been traveling for over five decades and airline travel these days is to be survived, not experienced. Nobody cares about customer experience anymore. No choice but to just grit your teeth and bear it.

I normally would give this airport a 2 star however after my experience I will give it a five-star. I had a long days worth of travelling after seven hours and I thought I would quickly buy myself a packet of crisp from inside the arrivals terminal where you collect your baggage at baggage reclaim. I put my money in the vending machine and my item never came to me because it got stuck on the window. It was quite crazy I've never seen a modern machine do this so I embarked on talking to one of the staff because I was pretty hungry and none of them could help me until I bumped into Allison Alison said that this machine has had issues and a lot of customers have the same problem she managed to sort this all out for me and I have to say it was a five-star experience she was so helpful so kind so professional the vending machine people wouldn't have even have done such a good job as this. I am so grateful for Alison ♥️ merry Xmas and deepest thanks

Dublin airport is like stepping back in time but with prices that would make a rich man cry . Not the most organised or cleanest and rude staff all unfortunately rolled into one if you have the misfortune to go to what is jokingly called it terrorist bar watch out for the older lady with glasses who should never be allowed near the public as her people skills are nonexistent

Absolutely impressed with Dublin Airport! There is an amazing kids zone right in front of the gate where children can play and have fun while waiting to board. It makes the whole travel experience so much easier and stress-free for parents. Honestly, every airport should have something like this! 👏✈️🌍

Dirty cafes.That was in arrivals.Had to transit through Dublin.Not nice.Made me take off my shoes ,not happened for years.
I had to walk 20 feet in my stockings, all accross dirty floor.
Long walks to gates.
Avoid if you can.

We were flying out with Lufthansa and had checked in online. Arrived early at the airport as we were getting Citilink up from Castlebar. Our boarding passes advised us to use the bag drop counter 802-806 anytime up till 4.15am. We searched both terminals, twice, but could not find the counter. We asked the customer assistant desk and none of the four DAA employees had ever heard of a bag drop? They could not have been more uninterested in giving any customer assistance!! We spent so much time trying to locate the bag drop that EVERY SINGLE food outlet was closed (10.55pm) international airport?? Just avoid if you can book from another airport!!

Several times when I'm walking through customs after collecting my luggage, a customs agent has gone out of their way to get over to me and make me put my cases through the scanner. Maybe it's because I'm in a hurry to make the bus after the luggage takes half the day to come out.. I've travelled extensively all over the world and I've never been asked to do it anywhere else. Also have experienced rudeness at security before departure at times.

Hate airports. But Dublin one is not the worst what I seen. It is very big and you need to walk for a bit, but in general it is very comfortable compare to what it could be.

I used Cocoa Cola vending machine at Dublin Airport terminal 1 .I got a Cappuccino and a latte coffee and was charged 2.50 euros 3 times .I think this is in excess and will not be using their vending machines again .

Traveling for the first time with my disability, the staff couldn't of been more helpful , I decided against using assistance upon arrival but I was still ushered through lines and security with my walking aide as I cant stand for too long, staff were cheerful, happy. Helpful. Made my first time flying with my disability a breeze. Staff at the gate for ryanair couldnt do enough for me either making sure I boarded first and looked after. Eased my anxiety and made my trip so easy.

Came through Dublin airport for the first time yesterday, and have to say that the security staff were the most rude, ignorant and arrogant people I've ever encountered at any airport, and that's saying something. I was wearing braces instead of a belt as I had particularly baggy trousers on. I was asked to remove them when putting my coat and bag in a tray, which I declined on the basis that my trousers would literally fall down, at which point my bag was taken out and literally tossed back at me without explanation. I put it in a separate tray and went through the scanner, which predictably picked up the braces. I was again asked to remove them, and again declined on the same basis, at which point I was subjected to a forensic level pat down, bordering on the invasive. I was even told to lift up my feet and show the security goon the soles of my trainers, at which point I was sorely tempted to ask if he'd like me to do a little dance for him as well. No please, thank you or sir, it was bloody disgusting and I will definitely not be travelling through Dublin airport again, ever. By contrast, Stansted was an absolute breeze, and more like what flying used to be like in the good old days. I'm genuinely convinced that this kind of experience is actually designed to put people off flying at all.

This is the worst airport I have ever experienced in my life. From rude and dehumanising staff to inadequate, outdated and filthy facilities. I cannot believe this is a Major capital city airport. It's a total kip.

Absolutely disgusting. Most of it looks like some kind of 1980s horror. Dirty, grotty, disorganised and loud irritating staff shouting and making unnecessary announcements over and over.

The security personnel is very unprofessional

Security Guy made Jokes about my handicap, and his colegue laughed about it. Supervisor did nothing! When my husband spoke to the person in question, the supervisor said the Will call the police if we stayer. Never ever did I got a treatment like this. Never again!

Feel bad giving 2 stars because all other staff were great but bald guy 50s in security was horrible to me over my shirt apparently not being placed in the tray properly. I wouldn't have done this on purpose and certainly didn't think I had placed it carelessly, however it didn't warrant the way he spoke to me. I've never had someone speak to me like that before. Talk about power tripping
