I was on a Dublin Bus today a 27 to be EXACT and i had the WORST expiernece EVER first i got on the bus and the bus driver let 1 YOUNGE girl named nevaeh radford on for free!!!!! then we got to the odeon and he GOR OFF THE BUS and ran across the road🤔 after 5 minutes. he came back???

The 70 to DUNBOYNE is the worse service that’s when it turns up ..DUNBOYNE has exploded in population with lots more houses but still only has 1 bus every hour which is ridiculous…the amount of time the bus doesn’t turn up
Is unacceptable…my son finished work in town tonight at 8pm had to wait just off pearse st fir 8.40 pm bus which did not turn up ..he had to stay at stop till 9.40 ..absolutely disgraceful service..bus service in Ireland is disgraceful

I’d give 0 if I could. Buses don’t stop at bus stops (not even full!), are delayed or don’t come at all and don’t stick to the timetable. Embarrassing! I often have to get taxis as can’t rely on buses to reach my destination on time, even if I leave early. They also start and brake very sharply. Embarrassing! Dublin is the worst capital city in terms of public transport. It’s just horrible, frustrating and unreliable. No wonder people here prefer to drive!

Another day late at work. Cannot understand the people in charge of public transport still keep their jobs. Route 151 running low and late... when it runs

Ghosts buses that never arrive. I've never seen such an uneffective and mediocre service in any other capital city of the world. It's just pathetic!

Shit service. Was waiting 40 minutes with an elderly couple on the side of the road while 4 “not in service” jobs drove past. Shame on yous.

My car broke down yesterday so had to depend on Dublin Bus from Skerries to get me to work at the Airport this morning.
It arrived at 6.15am exactly on time (I was panicking since last night!) and the driver was absolutely lovely and friendly. Bus was spotless.
I even had time to get a coffee before work!
As a footnote, the scenery along the coast was breath taking!

Possibly the worst thing ever, is meant to follow traffic as it’s on public roads and then decides to pull in and wait for ten minutes at bus stops to get the bus on a time schedule which should be based on public traffic and then will get caught in actual traffic later and then the bus will be behind schedule, this is just one of the latest things the bus is going which so painful to sit in especially when the next stop is yours. I can’t describe how awful Dublin bus is, this is aside from the not showing up on time never being on schedule and going 10km and going 10km/ph when it needs to slow down because again there is no traffic so it’s going slow on purpose. I honestly can’t ask Dublin bus to stop doing this, it’s a public transport that doesn’t follow a rail so should be able to follow general traffic but instead bus drivers are told to pull into stops for 5/10 mins at a time or slow down at green lights and wait for it to go red so they can kill some time. Bus drivers are being reprimanded if they don’t catch up to the schedule but it makes no sense considering it follows general traffic and makes everyone hate the bus

16 bus. Saturdsy afternoon. Worst service ever.

Buses are nonsense…the 4,7,7A literally run up each others exhausts,at all times of day keep them 5/7 mins apart no point in them getting in each other’s way
Rush Hour is a joke,just introduce some Xpress town to Blackrock non stop etc London buses have radar to keep them apart. And we need later buses,it’s absurd the latest bus is a Sunday night!!!

We have been using Dublin bus for years and absolutely delighted with the excellent service. Bus drivers invariably really friendly and chatty which let’s face it I am sure can be a challenge these days and from our perspective it lifts the day - it’s nice to be nice and our overall experience of many years is that these drivers are Very Nice !!

It's a shambles. Rarely on time and on many occasions the next bus will be cancelled with no prior warning. Not enough buses for the amount of new arrivals into Dublin the past 5 years and infrequent departure times mean it's pot luck if you can even get on a bus. If you can avoid this service then do

If you leave something on the bus it’s gone forever!
Don’t bother emailing or calling them completely a waste of time. They don’t even want to help you locate the bus or the property takes AGES to respond. Honestly don’t see what they’re even existing for just to collect money and give the illusion that your property may be found or handed in.

Whoever decides their budget needs to get rid of the admin and call centre staff they’re not helpful and incompetent.
An appendix is more useful than they are, and less condescending.

Honestly only here for work but my advice avoid Dublin its full of useless people and scumbags looking for any opportunity.

It would be amazing if we could put -5 stars here! Absolute joke of a service, we are paying these buses for what? To be late all the time to work, because bus appears wherever they want, not when is scheduled! Shame!

Never had a problem before the L2, Had one around a month ago where he drove past, but around 5 mins ago the L2 stopped at the stop just infront of kilcoole, St Anthony's school, this girl gets on the the bus driver says you can't have a dog on, so she gets off, I go to get on and he SHUTS THE DOOR?? LIKE? It was a son, daughter and mother, and before you say "he might have thought you were with them" THEY ARE SKINNY AND BLACK/ASIAN, IM A FAT WHITE KID.

We live on the 56A route and it is disgustingly incompetent, inept and the clowns who operate the "tracking" should br SACKED. Not made redundant.. no compo. I'm sick of ...scheduled... that never shows up. Due in 7 minutes that never happens. Why can't the fools who operate the system be sacked for incompetence

On route to see Sabrina carpenter with my daughter. Shout out to a lovely very helpful bus driver on the C4 Celbridge . Very nice man made my daughter's day .

Bus is alway deliberately late and when late it ignore the time and wait for the next time on timetable ; it unfair to employees /worker that heavily rely on the bus. Example are bus 41, 39A, 27, 43 and so on.
Unreliable bus transport in Dublin city

I gave a 1/5 but if I could have chose a -10 I would have. I think I could count on 1 hand the amount of times my bus has been on time (I use the bus 15+ times a week) today was especially bad! My bus was at 16:00. It never came! The next bus was at 16.17 which is kinda a joke because I’m a student trying to get home but anyway that bus didn’t come either and the next bus only came at 16.36. Literally biggest joke ever. I write this review as I’m waiting for my bus to go to dancing, it was at 18.14, it’s now 18:24…. Where is the bus?!?! Public transportation is an amazing idea but it needs to actually work this is ridiculous!!!

If You want to travel from Kinsealy to Dublin City center or from City center to Kinsealy try to find some other way than 43 bus. Most likely will not appear on your bus stop at all. Dublin Bus loves to let people down. Especially older people who live around Kinsealy and that's only the way they can back home. The management decided to ignore people who use the 43 bus to save few euros. The analytical way of thinking of the person who controls the buses is on extremely low level.
