Yikes! Dumpsters.com is a hot mess.

This company has major issues. I scheduled my dumpster online and everything went through... Received a confirmation. Great, right? Wrong. The next day I received a text from their rep saying they needed to "verify something" before confirming the order. I called back and the person who answered the phone looked up my order and said it "didn't go through". I questioned how that could be as I received a confirmation. He insisted it did not go through and proceeded to ask a ton of questions they already had the answers to. Fast forward, I received multiple email confirmations, to an email address not associated with this order, with multiple charges to my credit card. In addition, one of the charges was for more money than any of the invoices. While this was THEIR mistake, they made me jump through hoops to get the refund on the bogus dumpster they booked AND on the overcharge that didn't match either invoice. Delivery of the dumpster was okay, but there was garbage already in the dumpster upon arrival. Fast forward to scheduling pick-up... They confirmed pick up for Tuesday (May 21st)- latest by Friday, May 23rd. I called at 7a Friday the 24th to make sure the pick up was not lost in the system. They gave me the run around all day and never picked it up. In fact at 12:30p I received an email survey asking how everything went. I had to call them to let them know the service was not complete and their dumpster was still sitting in my driveway! Get it together, people... At 3p (as per their rep's recommendation) I called back since the dumpster had still not been picked up. Seems like they delay pickup to use your site as their storage area until they book the next job. Completely unethical and I will charge them per day for using my driveway plus the cancellation fees associated with a service I have booked for Sunday (that will need to access the driveway.) Stick with a local company it will save you time.

I called and spoke with Susan in regards to some pricing on dumpsters for a local job that I had. I did not have the exact address of the job as I was not in my office at the time of the phone call although I didn’t know the ZIP Code. She proceeded to be very rude, nasty, and unprofessional, and offered no help at all. I will not try to do any more business with this company in the future due to the way I was spoke to from her.

I signed up for a three-year service contract for a dumpster at the strip mall where I have my business. The original contract charged me a reasonable rate for the first year and a half, and then they claimed 'sky-rocketing landfill costs' forced them to raise their rate by 30%!!! I find this not only unethical but ridiculously unfair to contracted agreements. Charge your NEW clients the new rate, not clients with a SIGNED AGREEMENT. What greedy SOBs you are. Lesson learned...never again.
