Great customer service

I had a problem with one of the 2 fans I bought but this problem was solved very quickly by the quality customer service. I have recommended them to 2 friends who have since purchased fans from duux. Just shows what good customer service can do for a company.

Small but perfect size for me

Small but perfect size for me. I use it when I'm sitting on the sofa or in bed and that's the height I like my fan to be. Lower speeds don't move that much air about, I have it on 21 and that's great with minimal noise. Great fan, wasn't expecting to be impressed but I am! Also looks really smart and it's sturdy

Quick delivery

Quick delivery. I had an issue which was dealt with quickly and without a fuss.
Fan looks good and is sturdy enough. Love the remote and all the options. It is relatively quiet, but not quiet, on the higher speeds and there is a good jet of air at lower speeds when it is definitely quiet.
My only criticism so far is the max height that you can raise the fan. Could do with another 6 inches.

Everything right

I bought whisper fan

+Prompt delivery by DPD
+Good price
+Quality product and very quiet on reasonable settings
+Excellent packaging
+Easy to assemble
+Very quick answer to a question I submitted by email

The fan itself is compact. This doesn't matter for height as it can angle up and down as well as left to right.

The only thing I wish were better is that the projection of air is a relatively narrow corridor. The fan blades are fairly small, but I think this is fundamentally a feature of all these fans.

I had it on speed 10 of 26 which blows well and when my wife walked in she asked if it was on (because it was so quiet!))

Disappointing

The fan works in the simplest sense - it cools the air, and it’s reasonable quiet.

I’ve been disappointed that I opted for the more expensive app compatible version and the app doesn’t work. I also found customer service to be really rude, poor, and condescending when I raised this.

Asking if I had tried “turning the fan on and off again” rather than accepting it was faulty.

No one pays £170 just for a fan, you pay for the other features too. And it seems that Duux fails to be able to actually deliver those

The quietest fan I’ve ever owned

The quietest fan I’ve ever owned. So quiet on lvl1 that if it wasn’t for the cold air coming out you struggle to hear it at all. I run it all night and it simply doesn’t interfere with my sleeping. It’s quite powerful even on its lowest setting and the air is cool. I own a Dyson tower fan that I had to switch off at night because of the noise it made, but this Duux fan is just brilliant. If, like me you need that draft of fresh air without opening a window to the traffic then I can definitely recommend the Duux!

Alexa doesnt work even though they claim that app has been updated to work with it. This is a lie. I am in touch with the relevant authorities as they are selling a product with features that do not exist.

Excellent service

Excellent service - our heater was delivered very promptly. However, it is something we shall use when the weather gets colder and so I am not able to comment on its efficiency as yet.

The heater is nice, but the app terribly unreliable

The heater is nice, but the app and (and digital service behind it) is hopelessly unreliable. This drastically reduces the usefullness of the product, to the point we're thinking we'll get rid of it.

DO NOT BUY - Duux Smart Heater

Bought a Duux smart heater I grey. What an absolute waste of money and complete joke of a company. Half of the heating elements blow out cold air after only two months. The ‘smart’ element is far from smart as the app rarely connects to the heater. You either have to reconnect it to your wifi each and every time or log back into your account via a code that they sent to your email that half the time never arrives. Biggest con going - DO NOT buy anything from this company. We will be taking this awful thing back to Argos

The fans when working are excellent, the only reason anyone buys these products are due to being 'smart heaters'. For the record, they are not. The app has been down for over 2 months. I rang multiple times to be told it would be up next Wednesday, the same bs they feed you to get you off the phone. Two expensive threesixty heaters now laying around as stools. Absolute load of trash.. £200.00 down the toilet. I've seen two app updates in the interim and they haven't made any improvements whatsoever. Please avoid and actually pay the big boys like dyson who actually give a s**t about there clients and the smart side of things work just as well as the heaters..

Not so smart 360 heater

Bought the 360 heater in November. The app is appalling. Never works as intended. Bought specifically to use through the Internet and on my mobile. It can only be used manually. Received an email from Duux UK saying that they have issues with the smart app platform and to be patient as they are working night and day to rectify the problem. Sound like government MP's. Am outside the 30 days return but am taking it back as the product is not fit for purpose and doesn't fulfill the advertising criteria as a smart heater. I cannot recommend this product unfortunately.

Great looking heater but lacks the…

Great looking heater but lacks the heating capacity you would expect from an 1800w heater. The app is probably the worst app I have used for any smart tech. It constantly removes the device from the app, meaning you have to reinstall the device. It also always fails to load the room temperature.

Why call it a smart heater? READ BEFORE BUYING

If you want an overpriced, louder than advertised, """smart""" space heater then the threesixty is for you! The basic functions (3 temperature settings) work, but thats about all that works. Here's a quick list of everything that doesn't work:
- App login rarely works
- App consistently logs you out
- 95% of the time threesixty shows as offline in the app
- Threesixty does not stay in the app and needs to be readded multiple times daily, however you need to logout then back in which it rarely lets me.
- Temperature readings dont work and just shows blank reading where it should be
- Thermostatic control doesn't work (if you scroll up to 21c it will turn on and then never turn off)
- Scheduling doesn't work at all
- Google home integration doesn't work at all (always shows offline)
- Alexa integration doesn't work at all (alexa replies saying the device is not responding.)

I queried this with their support, as I was hoping it'd be a temporary issue, (however I should've checked the app's reviews beforehand as these issues have been happening for months) their support rep told me that their would be an update early this week.

I enquired again today and it turns out they neglected to mention that the update has been pushed back to late next week, If I wait again until next week I'd be past the 14 day return period (pretty convenient for Duux right?) so I'll be returning it as soon as I can.

Overall a pretty terrible experience, in its current state the heater is worse than a basic space heater I could get for £20 because even those have thermostatic control. Utter waste of time.

Also a direct quote from their FAQ:

"You must take reasonable care to ensure the goods are not damaged when they are returned to us. Using the goods before returning them within the allotted 14-day period does not constitute taking reasonable care of them. If you use the goods before returning them to us, you will be responsible for the costs of us reconditioning those goods."

If they attempt to charge me for using the heater I will chargeback the full amount regardless.

Edit: in case you were wondering if they ever updated the app, they did (about 2 weeks late) and it didn’t fix anything
