Not very good at all book car in turned up , girl took wrong reg could not do work until day after and more expensive will not use again

Visited EAC in Halesfield today for two new tyres to be fitted. I know there has been a massive hike in the cost for this, but EAC are still the best price ( I had looked around at other garages beforehand). The team there are really nice and were especially kind to my 5 year old son who was waiting with me. The drinks and snacks available whilst waiting is a good touch, little things like that make a big difference. I gave 4 stars rather than 5 because the initial booking was difficult due to the automated AI assistant when I called. It is always better to speak to an actual human.

Called to book a dsg service and oil and filter change.
They did ask for the registration number but not my name or any other details. They were quite abrupt and said they would call back but didn't bother. Very poor customer service. They obviously didn't want the work.

Paid £305 for a major service which said included Mini Valet. No Valet was done and two weeks later my 'ad blue' warning came on. Turns out that isn't included in a major service!!. The staff are great and very pleasant,apart from that.

I brought my car to EAC Hortonwood for an MOT and service and was quoted £700+ to address two minor suspension issues relating to front suspension arm ball joint dust covers (one major, one minor). Even accounting for wheel alignment, this price is significantly higher that what I have been quoted by other mechanics and garages, as well as my own research online.

I’ll be getting the work done, as well as the re-test of my MOT, done elsewhere and would strongly recommend that others seek a second opinion before agreeing to repairs here. Equally, DO NOT use this garage for your MOT. Not too sure whether they wanted to get more money out of me because I'm a young woman, or because I had to change the date and time of the MOT, or because I booked via BookMyGarage. Who knows, crazy prices!

My daughter was involved in a minor single vehicle RTC, resulting in her vehicle being recovered to EAC at Halesfield. Following a ‘full vehicle diagnosis’ a repair valuation was set at £1500. This was agreed & the work commenced. Then she was told it would be £1800 & then a further charge of around £350 for a new wheel bearing was delivered. Having become involved at the £1800 stage, I paid that bill & sought another opinion. This showed nothing wrong with the bearings. In essence, avoid this garage at all costs, particularly if you are a young female with no mechanical experience & open to corporate exploitation. Over enflated charge on parts & labour…..My request ? Just deliver a fair& & reasonable service, that’s not too much to ask. Relevant investigative authorities informed.

I cannot fault EAC. I had an issue with my mini, they got it booked in and a curtosey car organised so I could still get about. Everything was flawless from the booking, to communication about my car. They were brilliant at removing all stress from the situation and it was a quick turn around considering the issue. Definately be using their services again.

A friend recommended EAC to me, from when I went to reception and got my car back everything was perfect. Customer service was impeccable, wouldn't use anywhere else again. Thank you all at EAC.

Went in for a tyre change as had a flat, lovely gent changed it and checked the others which resulted in 2 more needing to be changed. After taken off he came and shown me the tyres. He was very friendly and welcoming. Thankyou!!

I can’t say enough how impressed with EAC I was when I took my car into for repair , from the initial booking in , to keeping me updated on the progress and to the finished result , even washing my car at the end ( nice touch ) . Highly recommend 👍
