I love it if u use Duolingo it is horrible you learn nothing and with eevi it is a website that you can actually learn something

Very intuitive to use and I enjoy that the conversations are fully personalized depending on the answers you give.

I recently moved to Spain, and I’ve used Duolingo, Babbel, Pimsleur, JumpSpeak, tutors, and a few other things to try to learn Spanish, but eevi has helped me more with actual speaking confidence than anything else I’ve tried. It’s more affordable than working with a tutor, but it feels much closer to a real tutor than the other apps do.

I like that you follow a structured course, so it feels like a class, but you can do it on your own time. Seeing my progress helps keep me motivated.

I’ve been doing about 15 minutes a day, which I can realistically fit into my schedule, and I’m already much more confident in everyday situations like going to the bakery or the grocery store. I still get self-conscious speaking sometimes, especially before something specific like taking my dog to the vet, but eevi gives me the vocabulary I need and lets me practice beforehand. You speak out loud and get instant feedback on what you said, how it flowed, and your pronunciation.

I also like that the AI stays in the background. It works smoothly without some awkward avatar or gimmicky feel, which I really appreciate.

One feature I’ve used a lot is being able to save new words from conversations or exercises straight into flashcards and then practice them until they stick.

It’s just a really useful app if you need help getting comfortable actually speaking.

Eevi is a great application for learning to speak a language. After spending over four years completing another Spanish course, I was barely able to have a very basic conversation. While I knew a lot of Spanish grammar and vocabulary, when I tried to talk to someone, I would choke in a panic. For me, getting over that panic or brain freeze was the biggest obstacle. With Eevi, I can take my time and think about my reply. So, I don't panic. As I got more comfortable in having a conversation with Eevi, I also became more at ease in talking with real people. I now speak with confidence and don't worry about making mistakes. Eevi is like having a very patient tutor who is available whenever I want to study. I now use Eevi daily for practice before setting out into town, and my speaking is getting better daily. Anyone who want to speak a foreign language should try Eevi.

I've been trying to learn Hungarian for a while now (Duolingo, Drops, a tutor, watching media) and nothing really stuck. My main issue was that I could pick up some words but couldn't hold a conversation. Eevi is the first thing that's actually helped with that. The pronunciation feedback is solid, and surprisingly it supports Estonian as a teaching language, which almost nothing else does. I've already recommended it to a few people, which I don't do unless I actually mean it. Worth trying if you're learning a less common language.
