Excellent Service & kept me updated all the way through the process.
Everyone was really helpful, from my initial video call with James, Glen who did the final design & Guy who did the physical survey. The Operations Team of Barbara, Georgia & Amelia kept me updated with emails throughtout the process. The equipment arrived on time for the install & the team was very good & explained everything to me & helped setup the HiveHome & Sunsynk apps so I can monitor the equipment. Tiger Scaffolding were quick & efficient & AnyJunk cleared up the rubbish quickly.

From my experience with them, I would definitely recommend Effective Home.

I had to appeal my decisions. They canceled my surveyor booking twice and when I complained they suddenly said I’m not eligible. Decision maker manager “Luke”decide to show now remorse. They are unprofessional and I have complained to their ceo company and ofgem as Luke assisted me with this. I will be taking this media too how they treated my elderly parents. I have all the evidence including a person who claimed to be the surveyor of effective homes who booked an Appontment at 10am today and then said he can’t make it. Absolutely unprofessional.

Alan Wolff undertook our site survey and explained everything to us in fantastic detail with clear explanations and information about all our options. Nothing was too much trouble for him. A few days later, Glen Stanger translated all Alan’s work into a lovely CAD diagram prior to the solar panel installation. Both these gentleman are a credit to the company and exceed expectations both with their professionalism and courtesy.

Installation team were fantastic, accommodating our requirements and providing great service. Kira sorted the paperwork out afterwards which was excellent and overall it’s been a straight-forward process, thank you!

Received all final documentation this week and couldn't be happier about how the process went through. Kira did an excellent job.

Had my solar panels installed in August 2022, all been working great until I had a new broadband connection installed and for the life of me I couldn’t get the internet connection back to the dongle on the inverter. I called effective home and spoke to the compliance administrator Rebecca who was fantastic in helping me solve my problem.
Highly recommend the team and Rebecca for her help.

Contacted Effective Home and spoke to Kira to request copies of documents relating to our installation carried out in 2022. Within 15 minutes of my call Kira has forwarded all of the necessary documents. Her service was outstanding and she was a credit to the company.

If I was rating the company. There would be no stars. And I really hope I never have to use them again. Atrocious from start to finish. Failed appointments. Broken promises. Zero communication

But Barbera needs to be recognised for being amazing. She took hold of problem and sorted. It should never have come that far but thank goodness for Barbera. The world needs more Barbera. The company could learn a lot from Barbera and she’s pulled them out of a massive hole

Mickiela, Barbara & Steve (team) went the extra mile to help me with an Inverter issue. My system was installed in February. I contacted the team yesterday as my Inverter was playing up. First class response Steve identified the issue and fixed within 24 hours. Also, a call out to Antonio who phoned me from home in the evening to identify that there was a system issue. Thanks everyone 😃 great after-sales service.

Great communication from initial contact to installation. installation was undertaken in a professional way with minimum disruption.

Effective Homes made the whole experience from easy. Everything was explained clearly and my questions answered. The scaffolding was erected a couple of days before installation and on installation day all equipment was delivered as the expected time and the installers were polite and courteous and on completion left everything tidy.

I was contacted by Mickiela my install planner from effective home to inform me my application had been approved and arranged a date for the install that suited me. She provided all the details about when I could expect the scaffold team, the roof install team and the electrician. As expected on the 8th the scaffold team turned up, were polite, informative and cracked on and they even contact the neighbour to make sure installing scaffolding on their path was ok. They were done in a day. Equipment was delivered on the day roughly an hour before the JL Platinum install team turned up (You want this team trust me). The roofers arrived first, introduced themselves, explained what the plan was, informed me the electrician was on their way and cracked on. About 30 minutes later one of the team informed me they could improve my installation free of charge by relocating panels to the back of the house. They did this check off their own back and check if I was happy to deviate from the quoted layout. The electricians turned up, introduced themselves explained the plan and cracked on, they explained that some of the equipment was water proof and could be installed outside but I requested it was installed inside and they said no problem. The team answered all my questions, kept me informed all the time and worked efficiently with little disruption. Before they left I was shown how to use the app by the electrician. High quality equipment, great customer service, I would highly recommend effective home, especially the JL Platinum install team.

There was an error on a particular document from my energy provider which Kira Williamson from the Commissioning team helped correct. This was not due to Effective Home. Kira Mickeila and Alan were all very helpful in getting this corrected.

Conor and the team were great. They were considerate and kept everything as tidy as possible (rubbish removed by another team a day or two later)
It only took a couple of hours to install 7 panels and battery.
Mickiela in the office has also been really helpful with some other queries I had.
The only slight niggle was communication on the day as I was expecting the team first thing and they didn't arrive until mid afternoon.

Luke from Effective Home came to the consultation having already fully researched my property and produced a handful of different configurations and options for us to discuss, customise, and decide what was best for me. I was given a very competitive quote straight away, with no pressure to purchase on the spot, and was even encouraged to look around and get other quotes to compare. Everyone I dealt with from then on (from general support and operations to scaffolding and installation) were all extremely friendly, eager to help, and did a fantastic job with no waiting around for answers.
