The whole team was excellent from sales through to install, the operations team kept me updated, Michela, Amelia and Georgia through the whole process. The engineers onsite fitted the equipment with minimum disruption and explained every step on the way and the operation of the app. Really put me at ease that I picked the right company to fit this for my parents property to reduce long term costs. Barbara on customer service was excellent dealing with my concerns and put me in contact with the senior engineer Steve to reassure me almost immediately all the equipment was working well. First class service by one of the best companies I've ever dealt with. Bravo, it's a breath of fresh air to deal with such a customer focused team. Its the personal touch that went the extra mile in my opinion. Highly recommend by me. Thank you Effective Home.

Great again, I had my solar install two years ago and I recently had an issue with my battery depleting when I did not want it to. Barbara was great and arranged a tech call. Steve called me soon after and went through me settings, I felt so silly in the end it was an easy fix. Thanks guys, systems all good now

My husband arranged for us to have solar panels fitted. A Tesla was fitted with a few problems, location, missed appointments, but Effective always kept us updated and while at times we were frustrated we appreciated the systems design and problems are unique and the system bespoke for our home. Georgia and Amalia were so lovely on the phone and even escalated my concerns to Barbara. Barbara was so reassuring about the system and made me feel listened to. I waited to leave my review until I received my paperwork but as expected we received it yesterday as promised. Rebecca was really helpful and when I asked questions about the documents I would receive she talked me through it and even asked another representative to confirm on some points. I would like to thank you all, oh and Kira for taking my call last week, So many people to thank but I forget all the names.

Excellent service scaffolding went up panels arrived the fitters were extremely polite and helpful and answered all my questions and explained everything without any problems would highly recommend this company .

Effective Home is very responsive and efficient with setting up everything quickly. Izzak came to the house and conducted a thorough preliminary survey, providing a cost-effective proposal for our house. Mickiela has arranged a date for the set-up asap. Then we had a scaffolding date with a team that is also responsible. A perfect solar installation was done by Josh and Harry, who are very helpful and amazing. Waste disposal was also handled by AnyJunk. Post installation survey was done properly and received an MCS certificate. The whole process was done in 6 weeks.

​"I am currently in a formal dispute with Effective Home and Barclays regarding a solar installation that resulted in damage to my brand-new kitchen, roof, and brickwork.
​I have documented evidence of what I consider to be high-pressure tactics and intimidating behavior from a Customer Care Manager. This includes written correspondence mentioning 'legal action' and 'debt collectors' while the installation was incomplete and the system was defective (requiring a replacement unit from their Doncaster depot).
​I feel it is a disgrace that these tactics were used against a household with a vulnerable person on oxygen. I have escalated this matter to the CEO and the Financial Ombudsman. I advise others to be cautious
"I am responding to your public statement, which is factually incorrect and misleading.
​1. Equipment Failure vs. Internet: Your claim that the delay was due to my internet is false. The system failed to commission because the Powerwall battery unit you installed was defective. I have records showing your team had to drive to your Doncaster depot to collect a replacement unit. Only after your faulty hardware was replaced did the system connect.
​2. Documented Threats: You claim 'no threats' were made. I have saved emails from your Customer Care Manager, Barbara, explicitly using high-pressure tactics. In her correspondence, she threatened me with 'legal action' and stated she would 'send the debt collectors round' while the job was still incomplete and my property was damaged. Using these threats against a household with a vulnerable person on oxygen is a disgrace.
​3. Damages & Conduct: The 'remedials' were only necessary because your team rushed the install, damaging my new kitchen, roof, and brickwork.

The team at Effective Home took ownership of all the details of the solar panel purchase and installation. Mickiela, our planner, made sure that we knew what was happening at every stage and managed our expectations clearly and effectively. All our questions were delt with quickly and clearly. Calum, our fitter, was professional and efficient. There were issues with some of the items, and theses were handled to the best possible result. Let's face it, things sometimes go wrong. It is not that they went wrong, but how well the issues are resolved, and the team were great.

Effective Home through Flynergy installed both our battery and solar panels that we ordered through British Gas' Hive. The process from start to finish was a great experience. The only issue we had was the Hive hub and bridge were not communicating with the inverter. A fix was required that was done quickly. We're very happy with our installation. Special mention must be given to the the installers, very friendly and we're very happy answer my queries. Finally, the sales representative/ surveyor Christine was a joy to deal with. No pressure sales tactics, just a honest appraisal of our requirements done in a friendly manner and always on hand if needed. This is customer service at it's best!!!

Just what I've come to expect - super service!

From meeting Andy the surveyor, the staff at Effective Homes to the installers, the service has been first class. At every stage the communication has been very clear and the installers were really good. Will recommend.

The install was completed very quickly & efficiently by the team after initial enquiry at start of December. Effective Home offering a face to face initial visit was very helpful to answer all of my questions. Barbara, Georgia & Amelia ensured all was well and in place behind the scenes. Mickiela was also very supportive when I had further questions about shading at my house which led to me being given optimisers on the solar panels to reduce the effects of the shading.

There was a miscommunication about where the inverter would be installed but this was resolved on the day once I had a discussion with the operations team. The installers arrived at 3pm and worked in the dark & rain to get this completed at 8pm. This is a credit to them & I am impressed with the quality of the work. However the installers did leave some mess behind at the end of the day which ended up in our neighbours gardens.

What has been very disappointing is that I have an issue with the battery which is due to the CT clamp being wired incorrectly. This means I am unable to use the battery which is a key part of the system I purchased (particularly in the winter). I accept these mistakes can happen but the earliest I can be offered a revisit to fix this is 4 weeks after the date of the installation. This doesn't feel like good quality aftercare especially given it is to fix something which is caused by a mistake from the installation team & I was told on the phone that would be rectified very quickly.

Just had a survey done by Andy Nichols for solar pv, really happy with the way it was done. Andy was very professional, informative and helpful. I also was really pleased that he wore overshoes to enter my home.

Installation 22 panels and battery in less than a day, All looks very good great people doing the work no issues, just waiting for the sun to shine only improvement would be that your EV charger may need settings changed so spent time this morning with PODPOINT sorting which was unexpected. But still 5 star service
