I called for a NON-URGENT electrical repair because several sockets in my apartment had stopped working. Since the cause wasn't known beforehand, I understood that it was difficult to provide an exact quote in advance.

The electrician arrived, identified the problem quite quickly, and replaced two components in the electrical panel. The entire diagnosis and repair took approximately 20 minutes.

Only after the work was completed did he start listing the additional charges. The final bill was €671.55, including €175 for diagnosis, €175 for an RCD, €85 for a breaker, plus the call-out and starting fees.

I find almost €700 for a non-emergency 20-minute visit completely disproportionate, particularly because I was not informed beforehand that the final cost could be anywhere near this amount.

Based on my experience, I strongly recommend finding literally anyone else.

Your electrician charged us an excessively high fee yesterday. He claimed to have replaced the circuit, but I verified with my own electrician this morning, who confirmed the circuit remained unchanged. Clearly, he lied about having made the replacement and charged me 275 euros.

When I confronted him about this, he threatened to dismantle everything he had done and leave us in darkness again. I was alone at home, so naturally I was scared. This was an outright threat. He also demanded additional weekend surcharges of 165 euros and a 65-euro hourly fee, which he waived later after an argument with me.

Furthermore, when I had called, you said that the actual transport cost was only 45 euros and the inspection should have cost 75 euros, yet he charged an extra 75 euros for the check. This is unacceptable customer service. I am appalled by his behaviour.

I am very unhappy with the extra charges.
