This was an incredible class, getting to learn the ropes of the industry from a real insider. The ELVTR staff were top notch and the instructor was excellent, as well as the incredible guest speakers brought in. ELVTR does a good job putting together a wonderful learning experience.

Great subject and current for the architectural practice

I first learned of ELVTR from a pop-up on my social media page. From there I clicked on learn more and was paired with Uliana, who was very patient with me as I navigated which course would be best for my learning. There was an initial phone call where she answered all of my questions and guided my requests professionally and timely. I took the Book Production Management course with Vanessa Robles, another professional who was incredibly knowledgeable. This course was presented in a way that made the content fun, engaging and easily understandable (for someone with zero publishing background, this was key). ELVTR also provides a program manager who is there to support you through the course, our cohort was paired with Sabina Rodriguez, who is fantastic! From day one she made herself available through phone calls, texts and emails. She introduced herself and provided all the platforms for us to get in touch. Luckily, I only had one small tech issue, which Sabina solved in a very timely manner as to not affect my schooling. I cannot say enough positive things about this organization and the professionals they work with. I am so impressed by my previous experience, I've already signed up for another course!

My experience on the ELVTR 'Comic Book Artist' course with Emma Vieceli was brilliant! I first spotted the course on Instagram and am so glad I applied.
From day one the support has been professional, helpful, kind and technically great!
The course focussed on visual storytelling which is a passion of mine. Beginning with character expression sheets right through to finalised inks on a professional comic book script.
What our amazing teacher Emma Vieceli gave us was the foundation and building blocks to create a finished comic book page with confidence.
With Emma's talent, industry insight and experience we were in the right place and in the right hands to be guided across character design, thumb nailing, pencilling and inking.
If you want to learn about storytelling in comics and be ready as a comic book artist, then this course is for you.

I took Costume Design for Entertainment with Emmy winning designer Jenn Rogien! I am a costume designer for live performance, currently trying to make the jump to film and tv. While I am familiar with the design process, this class gave me every tool I need to apply my skills to film as a medium. Even though I had previous experience, I still found this course challenging, engaging, and I learned so much! Jenn is an amazing teacher, she thoughtfully answers every question, and gives you a very honest perspective of how the industry operates. I got 10 times the value of what I invested in this course.

Overall, ELVTR offers valuable classes, tangible credentials (certificate, portfolio, etc.) and opportunities for professional development/upskilling.

I appreciated Alex for being my first point of contact and patiently walking me through my class selection (not to mention the pricing+promo package that they offered at the time)!

I appreciated Izzy for being flexible, empathetic, and responsive when I was enrolled.

I appreciated Lola for being attentive and informative whenever possible, even before and after the class term.

I would probably take another class if time+opportunity permits. The class days+times were ideal for me. 2 weekdays, after 5pm (Pacific time), for 6 weeks with a week break!

The person I spoke to was very helpful and went above and beyond throughout the whole process.

I took the 8 week Editor in Book Publishing course with Tom Hoeler and it was fantastic! Tom was such a great instructor, very open, encouraging and down to earth. The whole team was terrific. I learned a lot about the publishing industry which I have been interested in starting a new career in. Highly recommend taking this course!

ELVTR is the type of company that gives the people what they want; industry-relevant courses to those interested in advancing in their careers. I took the Book Production Management course and absolutely loved every second of it. Not only did we follow a course that taught us what goes into production on a more detailed manner, but we learned important topics and systems from an industry expert that is valued and respected in the industry. Vanessa Robles was incredible to learn from, and her assignments and teaching made learning that much more enjoyable. While I highly recommend this specific course, I know that there are many more taught by the best of the best, ranging from all kinds of industries. If this is something you're considering, I would highly recommend it.

Regarding the production manager course, everything went great. Overall, I would totally recommend this course. If Production Management is what you are looking for, this is great for any level, especially junior or intermediate. Bryan, the producer conducting the course, is amazing at what he does. He was very clear with the details of this position, and the roadmap to follow made sense in relation to the objective of the course. The content was great, the classes were clear and detailed, and the after-hours sessions were full of students asking many questions.

One opportunity I would have enjoyed is having more open-table conversations with Bryan. Either we were listening to Bryan, or we were asking questions, but the space to converse was a bit limited.

ELVTR truly taught me goldmine knowledge pertaining to my industry and I’m at a much better position now that I’ve done it 🙏 it’s definitely given me a spark thank you <3

This course was an incredible experience! As a self-taught writer, I feel like I now see my work in a completely new way and have strengthened my skills in story structure, character development, and visual storytelling. Learning directly from David N. Weiss was a privilege. His industry insight and thoughtful, personalized feedback were invaluable and the classes themselves were well-paced, highly interactive, and filled with practical tools I could immediately apply to my writing. I would absolutely recommend this course to anyone looking to grow as an animation writer and elevate their storytelling to a professional level. Thank you for this opportunity!

I signed up to the A&R course which started off great. Unfortunately due to personal reasons I had to pull out. the customer support team, Camryn and Delise, were super understanding and really did support me all the way through. Great team

The course coordinators, staff, teacher and assistants were all stellar. Even as shy as I am, my classmates were insightful and I gathered so much experience participating and being present for each class. I took the Game Writing course with Adam Dolin at ELVTR. The course was well thought and easy to follow. I had so much support in submitting in the assignments and receiving feedback for my work. I recommend ELVTR and any of their courses to anyone interested in expanding their knowledge and finding a community of like-minded people to share knowledge and ideas with!

The Basketball Analytics course was a game changer for me! I came in looking for a way to merge my passion for basketball with my career in tech, and this helped do just that. I left with real analytics skills, portfolio-ready projects, and a network to lean on. The instructor's experience in the NBA brought a level of depth and detail to each lesson that would be hard replicate. Incredible support staff. Highly recommend!

I was apprehensive at first before paying for this course as I have never done an online course before but now that I have completed it, I can honestly say this was the best decision I made.

The service and online facilities were excellent, no technical faults at all during the 9 week course. I had constant support available to me and they even reached out several times to check up on my progress and offered help if needed.

The teacher for my subject was incredibly knowledgable and well-skilled, I learnt so much from them. I finished the course feeling confident with a project to add to my portfolio that I’m proud to bring to any job interview.

The course I did with ELVTR was ‘Transport Design’ and I would recommend it if you're thinking about studying it as a degree to give yourself a leg up or even switching careers late in life to learn new creative skills.

I was suspicious of the platform at first, because I'd never heard of it, but ELVTR works with accomplished industry professionals who really know their stuff. I also appreciated the level of detail that went into the course, preparation, and assignments, and I'm grateful to Sabina, our program manager, who kept us on track, organized, and informed.

Ivy is an experienced UX Designer as well as a good instructor. She explained UX design concepts for videos games using engaging examples, and interactive exercises. It was a fun class and I enjoyed interacting with other students to evaluate UX designs for video games.
