Lacking customer service
I placed an order for stirrup leathers and then read the reviews which were not at all favourable and made me a bit concerned about my order. On the website it did say they might take a few weeks to arrive which was fine as there was no urgency. I was pleasantly surprised and relieved when they arrived a few days later and I’m very happy with them. However at the same time I did order 2 plastic curry combs which I did not receive, I was sent 2 mane combs instead. I did send Equus a message and received an automated reply saying my query would be dealt with in a couple of days. That was 10 days ago and although my query was apparently important to them, I’ve given up hope now. Would I risk using this company again? Probably not. There are many other equine companies who offer excellent customer service and I think that’s important when you’re ordering online.

Terrible company to deal with still haven't received full order 7 weeks on , excuse after excuse .buy from another equine retailer, they can not fulfill their orders .once I stated paypal dispute would be initiated refund for outstanding order was made quickly

Very disappointed by this company
Very disappointed by this company. I have ordered items before which have taken ages to arrive but I’m still waiting for my order of a stable fork weeks after I ordered it. The money went from PayPal account instantly and I have tried leaving messages via the Facebook page just to be sent auto generated reply saying they will get back but they don’t. I want to cancel the order and get a refund but just can’t seem to get hold of them. I will never use them again!

Ordered items from the website , have not received any tracking info or confirmation email to say the order has went through, although the money was taken from my account. I Have tried emailing customer services and getting through to a member of staff with 0 luck.
Is this common for Equus?

Avoid at all costs
I ordered two items from a Equus, only one arrived. It’s impossible to get through to their “customer service” on email, phone, FB messenger, Instagram or X. I tried all avenues on numerous occasions and was unable to speak to anyone or get any response to my query for my missing item or to get a refund. I even went through a disputes agency and still did not get a reply. They owe me my item or a refund.

Christmas present still not delivered
I ordered (& paid for) a winter jacket on 4 December 24… a Christmas present for my niece.
Still not received… and latest chasing email unanswered. Previous response from Customer Services blamed warehouse issues.
Dismayed to see how many other people experiencing the same issues.
Please deliver the jacket - warm jacket needed urgently!

Disappointed with the Quality of Riding Boots and Customer Service
I purchased a pair of riding boots from EQUUS, expecting high quality given their reputation. Aafter only a few uses, the stitching began to unravel, and the sole started detaching. They refused to offer a refund or exchange, citing wear and tear, which is unacceptable for boots worn only a handful of times.
D' delivery took longer than advertised, causing inconvenience. I expected better quality and service from a company!1

Don't use this company
Ordered for my grandaughter for Christmas had an issue with the delivery was told it was at the courier depot, actually went to the depot was told that the items had been lost informed, Carson was assured that it would be sorted out, still waiting for a refund. Order30910

THIS Online retailer company WENT INTO ADMINISTRATION on 20.9.24. Now reinstated- operated by D Mason who specialise in ‘ online sites’ ( god help us)

This would account for myself and all the other people who did not get their orders by Christmas and beyond - in my case not at all. Yet they were still trading, taking money for items that they knowingly could not provide.
Bought a stable door grid on 9th December 24. Informed that would be dispatched in 10 days from their warehouse. Had no communication until I started to email and ask for updates. Was told by Carson they had warehouse issues and he would update when their buyer could provide an update.
It seems everyone else has been told of warehouse issues. I think the issues are that the warehouse, if indeed it exists has no stock . Probably because there are not enough funds to stock it. Items are probably ordered in from other sources when customer actually places and pays for their order.
After several emails chasing up the order, only to be told no delivery date could be issued because of warehouse issues I bought elsewhere, which was received instantly. Asked for a refund today which Carson dealt with promptly and I received funds within hours. I feel very sorry for Carson having read all your reviews, (I thought my problems were just me on my own) he was always polite but was obviously having to deal with complaints on a daily basis to which he simply could not provide an answer.
FIRST and LAST time ordering from EQUUS I suggest you do not bother either. I received my money back, many others were not so lucky.

Ridiculously late for such a simple item.
I ordered some Christmas pudding stud muffins for the kids the last week in November. They still haven’t arrived. I asked for a refund as the moment has gone now. I had email yesterday saying they be with me in the next few days! I reiterating a bit late now I ve bought them elsewhere.
10 days delivery seems a bit long for such a basic item - well I am still waiting and it’s 25 days later now - refund as soon as please!
Terrible delivery information and service
Placed an order on 1st December, only noticed afterwards they state a maximum dispatch time of 10 days. Emailed them as worried that item won't arrive in time for Christmas. Received a reply a few days later guaranteeing dispatch by 16th at the latest and saying I would receive an email informing me when this happens. It didn't, sent another email, no reply, now left panicking that it won't arrive.
Found a number for them, when I called it a message says the number has changed and gives a new number. When I tried this a voice message says the number is not in service.

Update: I sent an email asking Equus to cancel and refund my order, instead of complying, 3 days later I received an automated email telling me that my order is being shipped, then the following day one from 'customer service' telling me they could not cancel the order as it had shipped - expected delivery date for my daughter's Christmas present... 27th December.
Avoid this company, simply useless.
Had to request refund
I ordered a small turnout rug for my new filly, unfortunately I am still waiting for this, I have emailed EQUUS and they have said it’s an issue with stock in the warehouse, that my order is top priority and will dispatched the moment it arrives.
I actually thought I would be receiving this item a week before I even contacted them. In between this time, I have been notified by a couple friends that this company has apparently been liquidised, I was then sent this page full of bad reviews. Whoopyyy.
So now I’m out of pocket (twice, as I had to buy another rug so my new horse could actually be turned out) - I have requested a refund, so let’s hope they can at least return my money if I won’t receive my goods. I hope to be able to update this positively, but that’ll be on them. If not, if there is a way to take it further I will be pursing that!
*Update - I did receive a refund, no hassle and quite quick👍🏼
