I am a fortunate regular customer at the Esso Garage, Bracebridge Heath, Lincoln. The service there is excellent. All the staff are friendly and helpful. The store sells fresh essentials and quality fuel and lubricants. Its no wonder the customers who use this garage appreciate it.

Re Esso promotions

I should have received 300 Nectar pts from an Esso garage in addition to my normal Nectar points, one went through on 11/5/26 and then a new one came in and on the 19/5/26, the last day I filled my car up, received the normal Nectar points but not the 300. They are now saying this is the same promotion as one was sent by email the other on the Nectar App.

I’ve been wasting my time with emails back and forth and they are adamant they are correct but state it might be confusing for their customers so are going to change the way and make it easier to understand.

Well I’ve had enough and decided to boycott all Esso garages in future. I also received another offer of 4 x points next time I filled up but this hasn’t happened either!

If I could give zero stars, I would. I have spent a month chasing Esso Consumer Care for a simple 500-point Nectar promotion that I legitimately earned.
The level of incompetence is staggering. Over the course of four weeks, I have dealt with at least four different agents (Maverick, John, Hershee, and Erica), each one more confused than the last.
First, they ignored my evidence. Then, they claimed I "didn’t win the competition"—despite it being a guaranteed promotional offer, not a contest. After I corrected them, they went silent for two weeks. Now, their latest "excuse" is that the points were loaded onto a "permanently deactivated card" I don't even use, while I used my active card for the fuel.
It is "all info is wrong" nonsense. They have the receipt, they have the correct Nectar number, and they have the proof of the offer. They would rather spend a month paying staff to write nonsensical emails than simply honor a 500-point promo.
Save yourself the headache. Don’t bother with Esso’s promotions; they have no intention of honoring them and will lead you in a circle of "Consumer Help Desk" hell until you give up.
