I purchased an Eufy C210 Video Doorbell

I purchased an Eufy basic video doorbell as I liked the features it came with, especially being able to store video images to an SD card and not have to pay a subscription for Cloud storage. However the internally sealed battery in the unit failed after only 2 months! I called Eufy customer services and they said they would send me out another replacement doorbell and once received to send back the non-working door bell via Evry Couriers with the prepaid barcode provided by Eufy. Which I did straight away as requested. Then again after about three months the replacement my unit stopped working and would not recharge! I called Eury Customer Services again to complain and they said they had not received the previous faulty doorbell back so there was nothing they were willing to do as they had not received the door bell I sent them back. I confirmed the date and the time I sent it but was told that Eufy do not pay for return items to be tracked so they couldn’t tell me where the returned item was or if they had received it at all! All I was offered was a 10% discount on the purchase of a new Eufy video doorbell as there records showed I had not returned the faulty doorbell to them. I explained if they didn’t track the item how do they know if it was or wasn’t received! I explained that as the item is less than 12 months old, this is against my consumer rights and is in breach of the Sales of Goods and Services Act. But again they confirmed that as they do not know if they received the faulty doorbell back that was their final position! With two new doorbells failing in such a short period of time I consider the Eufy Video Doorbell to be substandard and will not be buying another Eufy product. It seems a serious design floor to seal the rechargeable battery inside the unit so if that fails, the whole unit needs to be replaced!

Faulty Eufy Homebase

Our 4 month old Homebase Unit failed - worked one day not the next despite no change to home set up. Customer Service failed to understand this and I was put through hoops to “diagnose” the issue. After a long period of many emails - do this/check that - and over a month without security a replacement was sent & all now works fine. However I should’ve been offered an under guarantee replacement immediately.

Customer service a joke, £600 for a months use

I paid £600+ for an Eufy x10 pro and while it worked quite well for a month, it’s now broken and about 3 weeks into trying to get it repaired/repalced. One reason for this time scale is every message you send takes days for a reply to arrive, not sure if they are in a far flung country with a different time zone or they just don’t care about speedy responses, either way, extremely annoying. Now just going to return the whole thing, only told them today so will be a few days before they acknowledge my email and give there next unhelpful response.

The door bell is impossible to use and needs an IT specialist to install. Tried many times and even employed two companies to help and both found it too difficult. Still trying to get a full refund without success so far. Very long and drawn out process. Anker Support not very helpful.

Bought an x10 robovac

Bought an x10 robovac. Broke down twice within 12 months. The last time was 2 days out of warranty. Only option is to buy a new one with 10% discount. Please don't buy anything from this Chinese company. Very unreliable.

I used their website to help me purchase a robot vacuum that also mopped. However, when it arrived, it does not mop and now they are telling me I have to pay to return this product even though their website recommended it for vacuuming and mopping.

Worst experience with Anker support. I reached out to Eufy support for a replacement of my robot vacuum. They took 2-3 weeks for troubleshooting the issue, but couldn't resolve it. After multiple times of asking for a replacement, they finally approved. I sent the product back immediately within the next 2 days. It's now been almost 2 weeks since the product was received by them yet I haven't received any confirmation nor a replacement has been sent out. On asking daily, they keep mentioning that they are waiting for confirmation from their warehouse which sounds like a lame excuse. Pathetic service and I am still waiting for a replacement. I am never going to order anything from them as this issue situation has caused great inconvenience for me and my family.

AVOID!!!!

Absolute junk. Never functioned properly despite repeated calls to customer service (when you can get through!)

It gave up the ghost very shortly after being out of warrantee.

Then I was told by the advisor, who I FINALLY got through to that it is a common problem and they have an issue with water ingress and microphones!

I was then given the option to replace it at a (very small) discount.

So disappointed and actually very cross. These things are recommended on some of the tech sites.... come to this one if you want the truth.

Simply the WORSE !

This a really bad doorbell, really bad. Customer service even worse. It was in place of a Ring doorbell when they put up their subscription. Eufy ‘bragged’ about no ongoing fees and local storage, so I bought into the ‘scam’. Wow, it is terrible, NEVER alerts on time, I can come through the door put the kettle on and then it tells me I’m at the door, appalling, simply appalling, I could go on, although they have exhausted me, O rant can’t be bothered with these clowns.

Basically, this is RUBBISH.

Would give 5 stars but have been…

Would give 5 stars but have been waiting years and still no Google home chme support, which the main reason I bought it. I feel scammed as will now have to replace everything with Alexa or get a new doorbell, which is the easiest option. Bye bye Eufy.

2K quality (better than Ring/Google with 1080/720).
2 camera zones, 1 eye level for visitorsl & 1 for doorstep for parcels.
3 movement activated lights that light up half the garden.
Local recording so no subscriptions or being spied on by large corporations.
Facial & parcel recognition with customisable auotmated replies.
Battery back up.
Many other features.
Point gift rewards.
Looks really posh.
Only downside is you cannot use Google Home as a chime yet without writting IFTTT script even though thier specs say it does.
