First rate, fast customer service (me idiot, didn't spot the item in the box) ... and high quality items. Wouldn't hesitate to come back.

Thanks very much for taking the time to leave such a positive review — we really appreciate it.
We’re glad to hear the Type 1 to Type 2 adapter arrived quickly, works exactly as expected, and feels like a solid, well-made product. It’s also great to know the information on the website was clear and helped you choose the right solution for converting your existing Type 1 cable to a Type 2 vehicle.
Following earlier customer feedback, we’ve recently improved the compatibility information on this product page to make it clearer which vehicles are supported and where any exceptions apply — so it’s especially nice to see that those updates have helped result in a smooth, confident purchase.

I needed a bigger cable to charge in…
I needed a bigger cable to charge in the street outside my property. This one lets me charge even if someone is parked at my house in the street. The cable is robust and the yellow colour makes it stand out. Was delivered quickly and customer services also responded quickly to a query.

Hi Angus,
Thank you again for coming back to us and for leaving a second review — we honestly can’t tell you how much we appreciate it.
We’re delighted the longer cable has made street charging easier and given you the flexibility to charge even when parking outside is tight. That’s exactly the kind of real-world scenario these longer lengths are designed for.
It’s also great to hear you’re happy with the robustness of the cable and the visibility of the yellow finish, as well as the quick delivery and support from our team.
Thanks once again for your continued trust — it really does mean a great deal.
Warm regards,
EV-Cables / EVSTOR
Brilliant company and great solid…
Brilliant company and great solid product. Ordered a 3m cable to keep in my car then a 10 m to use from garden to the street.
Product arrived really quickly and is a good, high quality coloured cable with excellent dust protectors too. The yellow cable makes it easy to see.
After my first order I emailed customer services a question and had a quick response.
If you need a new or spare charging cable I would definitely recommend this company.

We’re really pleased to hear you were happy with both the 3m cable for the car and the 10m option for charging from the garden out to the street. It’s great to know the quality, dust protectors, and the high-visibility yellow cable all stood out for the right reasons.

Customer Service Excellence
The customer service I experienced in advance of the purchase stood head and shoulders above others. Lee's advice was detailed. Really informative and helped me to make a decision, when typically for me, I was sitting on the fence.
There was a hiccup with the courier for the delivery, but that was swiftly resolved and Lee stayed in contact throughout the whole process.
Wouldn't hesitate to purchase from them again and have already recommended them to friends.

Thanks so much for taking the time to leave a review — we really appreciate it.
Great to hear the product arrived quickly, was well packaged, and is working perfectly with your vehicle. Always good to know it’s doing exactly what it should.
Thanks also for the feedback on compatibility information. You’re right — it wasn’t as clear as it could have been. We’ve reviewed the product page and updated the EV compatibility section (which was a bit too far down the page) to make things much clearer. It now states that all Type 2 vehicles are compatible unless listed in the exceptions list.
Sorry this wasn’t clearer when you ordered, but your comment has definitely helped us improve the page for everyone going forward.
Thanks again — we really appreciate your honest feedback.
Kind regards,
EV-Cables / EVSTOR
Good site for good quality EV Chargers and Cables
I was looking for a 10m charging cable , UK 3 Pin to Type 2 and it was difficult to choose which one to go for. I ended up buying a EVStor Portable EV Charger with time delay from EV-Cables. The charger itself is very good quality and comes with a two year warranty so I am very happy with my purchase. I have used it several times and it works smoothly and has a nice simple screen displaying how the charging is going. It was posted quickly using DHL. There was a small delay when DHL lost the parcel but Lee chased them and it was found and quickly delivered to me. So great customer service too.

Hi John,
Thank you so much for taking the time to share such a detailed 5-star review — it’s greatly appreciated.
I’m delighted you’re happy with the 10m UK 3-pin to Type 2 portable charger, and that the time-delay feature and clear display are working well for you. We take pride in the build quality and the two-year warranty, so it’s great to hear that confidence coming through in real use.
I also want to thank you for your patience with the DHL hiccup. Their SLA was extremely tardy on this occasion, but I’m glad we could chase it down and get everything delivered promptly in the end.
Thanks again for trusting us with your purchase — and it’s a bonus to know you’re enjoying the charger too!
Kind regards,
EV-Cables / EVSTOR

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a thoughtful review — it really means a lot to us.
As a small UK business, we put a huge amount of care into every detail — from the cable quality and colour choices right down to things like the new rain-resistant caps — so hearing that these touches are noticed and appreciated genuinely makes our day.
We’re still fairly new to Trustpilot, so every bit of feedback helps others see that real people are behind the brand, doing our best to make EV charging simpler and better. Thanks again for choosing us and for supporting a growing UK company.

Thank you so much for your kind words — we really appreciate it.
We put a lot of time and care into making sure our cables don’t just look good but feel solid and perform reliably, so hearing they’ve exceeded expectations (even compared to the manufacturer’s own cable!) truly makes our day.
Thanks again for recommending us — as a small UK business, feedback like this keeps us motivated to keep improving and innovating.
