I ordered a cable from this company to Iceland. I paid tax on the website, and there was no way to disable it. When the package arrived in the country, the shipping company sent me an invoice (tax).

So, I paid the tax twice and overpaid €50. I contacted evcable three times, but no one has responded for a month. Meanwhile, they spam my email with newsletters every week.

I feel a little cheated, and if I'd known the cable would be so expensive (double tax), I wouldn't have ordered it from them.

The cable works fine.

Pretty good experience . The cable is good quality. The helpline tried their best to help when I couldn't get the car to charge with it but that's the car's ( Kia Ev3) fault not the cable.

I needed a longer cable to replace the cable fitted into my tethered charger. Finding the part was simple, and my question about cable diameter, to confirm sutability was answered quickly.

The cable and connector are higher quality than the OEM fitted to the charger.

In under three months, the cable connector developed corrosion, and customer support was not supportive. It's best to steer clear.

I wanted to buy a three pin charger with a specific cable length for my new EV, and after looking around at various cheaper off the shelf options, I found EV Cables chose them.

I have been seriously impressed with the unit, it is incredibly well designed and made, and has in built safety features that mean I trust it sufficiently to leave it permanently plugged into an external wall socket that I know can deliver the required current. I have been using it for a couple of months now, through some very wet and then very cold weather, so can vouch for its suitability for use in the British climate.

I mounted the main unit on a wall using a pair of spring tool holder clips, certainly a cheaper option than the bracket they offer as an option.

The unit is perfect, I really can’t fault the company or their service at all, they deserve this positive review.
