Corrosion on the cable connector after less than 3 months. Customer service was unhelpful. Avoid.

Quick delivery and cables works unlike cheap Chinese one!

Very easy to select required product/length. Item was delivered promptly and as specified even with the Christmas holiday period disruption. Quality of cable is good and as I expected. Would recommend and would definitely use again.

The product, a Wottz charging cable, failed to work from the outset. We have our own Pod-Point EV charge point that kept our Nissan Leaf charged for nearly 10 years. Because of the limited range of that early EV we have just replaced it with a Hyundai Inster that came with its own very long charge cable. The plan was to use new cable with the Pod-Point but the moment it was plugged in the Pod-point showed a red fault light and made some strange noises. I Promptly removed it. I tried again the following day but still it failed ot connect.

Superb experience. Am new to the world of EV’s. I found the website easy to navigate. Like the fact you can double check your order against your vehicle model to ensure you are getting the correct cable. I needed to contact the office after I placed my order and the response was immediate and personable. Rapid delivery. Excellent quality of product. Just started charging my car and I’m delighted!

I could find the exact cable I needed using the web site and entering my car model. I liked that different length cables were offered. Shipping was fast everything worked as expected. Great service.

EV Charging cable works fine for 2 months. Stable and not hot when charging.

My Type 2 cable arrived promptly and it's a good quality product.

Things I liked:

1. Being able to choose a cable length that suited my needs; many off-the-shelf cables are too long and cumbersome to use.
2. Very responsive to both technical and commercial enquiries.
3. Short lead-time to manufacture (1-day turnaround).
4. Choice of shipping options (I chose 2-day express service).
5. Final price for supply to EU destinations. Absolutely essential; I will not buy from a non-EU supplier that doesn’t offer a VAT and duty paid price, it’s too much hassle dealing with unexpected charges at point of import.
6. Competitive pricing and 5% discount on 1st order.
7. Product seems to be robustly built. The rubber connector covers were a nice touch.

Things I didn’t like: none!

Bought a short (2m) cable and it is just what I needed. Well constructed and very happy with it. Had a couple of queries which customer services were swift to reply on.

Bought a cable for my Smart fortwo EQ as per their recommender. Cable didn't work, cable that came with car works.

Sent the cable back, they have to 'check it' before issuing a refund. They take there time checking it, arrived back to them on the 9th December. Some 9 days later they issued a refund but because they find no fault they have refused to pay the return postage.

I think you will find this is breaking consumer law. So do yourselves and your customer service a favour and refund in full including return postage.

If you need an EV cable I would suggest you find an alternative.

Brilliant service from EV Cables. The V2L cable I purchased is excellent quality and arrived really quickly.

The customisation options (cable length, number of sockets etc) was really helpful and the price was very reasonable.

Would highly recommend and will certainly use again when I need an EV cable.

Fast delivery, competitive price. Appears to be a premium quality product, the plug covers at either end are really good and will greatly help to protect the connectors from the weather.

Easy to order and quick delivery, the cable shown in the image doesn't show that the cables actually come with terminal connection already fitted.
It was a like for like swap with the original cable. changed a dumb 5 mtr type 1 charger cable to a 7mtr type 2.

Needed to change the cable on my tethered Anderson A1 wall box as it was extremely kinked and unsightly.

Having an Tesla it made total sense to go with a type 2 tethered with Tesla button that automatically append the charging flap without having to have your phone or Tesla key card.

Took 30 mins to replace and that’s only because it was throwing it down with rain otherwise 15 mins max.

Charging button works like a dream 🙂
