Geen langdurig plezier

Onze Dunbar zetel heel vlot besteld en binnen de verwachte levertermijn gekregen, maar hij heeft het amper 4 jaar volgehouden voor de divan was doorgezakt, een jaar later zakte ook de tweezit door. Zo’n prijzige, design zetel zou toch wat langer mee mogen gaan dan 4 jaar?

Dank je wel voor het delen van je ervaring. Wat jammer om te horen dat jullie Dunbar sofa na enkele jaren is doorgezakt. Dat is inderdaad niet wat je van ons merk mag verwachten.

Graag willen we toelichten dat wij het merk na een faillissement hebben overgenomen. Daardoor kunnen wij op items die vóór de overname zijn aangekocht helaas geen garantie meer bieden. We begrijpen dat dit teleurstellend is en leven met jullie mee, want dit is uiteraard niet de service of kwaliteit die je mag verwachten.

Besteld en betaald artikel bleek 14…

Besteld en betaald artikel bleek 14 dagen laten en na veel informeren (zonder antwoord) niet voorradig. Waarna veel onduidelijkheid. De klantendienst zou opnieuw contact met me opnemen en heeft dit nooit gedaan. (ik kreeg wel mijn geld terug). Er zijn zaken die kunnen gebeuren, maar als je hier dan als klant niet goed in geholpen wordt, dat is echt beneden alle peil!

Bedankt dat je de tijd hebt genomen om je ervaring te delen. We vinden het erg spijtig te lezen dat de communicatie rond je bestelling zo moeizaam is verlopen. Dat is niet de service die we willen bieden, en we begrijpen volledig hoe frustrerend dit moet zijn geweest.

Hoewel het geen excuus is, willen we graag toelichten dat er intern recente proceswijzigingen zijn geweest die veel extra inzet vroegen van onze supportafdeling. Dat heeft helaas geleid tot vertragingen in de communicatie, iets waar we inmiddels actief aan werken om te verbeteren.

We nemen je feedback serieus en gebruiken deze om onze opvolging en klantcommunicatie verder te versterken. Onze oprechte excuses voor het ongemak en de onduidelijkheid die je hebt ervaren. Dit had niet mogen gebeuren.

Hopelijk mogen we in de toekomst laten zien dat we het beter kunnen en dat jouw ervaring met ons wél positief is.

Pillows not as good as expected

Bought three pillows but unfortunately there are constantly feathers coming out of the filling, doesn’t look very nice. Would be better to have a different filling made of recycled materials for instance.

It is normal for some feathers to poke through the fabric of the pillows but it is multiple a day, please return with the pillows to our Amsterdam Store.
We can exchange the pillows for ones with a different filling!

Warning to Potential Customers: Poor quality and unstable business!

TLDR: FEST has gone bankrupt due to terrible quality and poor customer service, and is now run by a different company that runs an even shadier business.

Full review:
​I bought a set of three furniture pieces from them less than three years ago, all of which came with a three-year guarantee. Recently, the stitching on one piece fell apart, and the others are starting to tear as well. I submitted a warranty claim with all the required photos and details.

After a whole month of a masterclass in dishonesty and delay (including vague excuses about waiting for a "resolution" from their repair service) FEST had a change of heart. They refused to honor the warranty, claiming they had gone BANKRUPT(!) and were now under new ownership. As a result, their "options were limited."

​Please be aware that their website still proudly advertises the same 3-year warranty, so their options are anything but limited. They just don't seem to mind running shady advertising, just like they don't seem to mind the fact that this review will deter many potential customers, costing them a lot more than honoring a warranty would.

In summary, save yourself the headache and thousands of euros you'd waste on worse-than-Ikea quality and take your business elsewhere.

Goede service

Goede service, snelle communicatie. Jammer dat de bezorging verplicht was en altijd 80 euro kost ondanks dat het slechts twee barkrukken waren.

We were not notified about a discount…

We were not notified about a discount that was happening soon (we specifically asked if something was coming , we are talking about 4k couch - not peanuts). when we asked for explanation the standard reply was always “ there is nothing we can do” … standard reply (very annoying), let’s be honest, if you want there is always something you can do. The worst part is about the couch - when you sit down you can see the folds , and they are not going away. I will send you pictures if needed… 4K couch

Thank you for sharing your experience. We are very sorry to hear that you’re disappointed.

We understand how frustrating it must be to have missed out on a discount, especially after proactively asking about upcoming promotions. While we try to be transparent and fair with all customers, our team unfortunately can’t apply discounts retroactively once a promotion has ended. That said, we take your feedback seriously and agree that the communication could have been more personal.

Regarding the folds in the couch, some fabrics or sofas fold more than others. And we can’t always solve this issue, as in some cases, these are normal signs of use or characteristics of the fabric and/or sofa. If the fabric were tight and smooth, it would not provide the same level of comfort.
However, we understand that a sofa from FEST should meet high expectations, and we want to look into this further.

Could you please send us photos and your order number so we can assess the issue properly and see what can be done to make this right for you?

Slechte kwaliteit bank Clay

Een aantal jaar geleden kocht ik de bank Clay via Flinders. Helaas begonnen in het eerste jaar al de problemen: kapotte veren, slecht schuim, het ‘dekbed’ verschoof waardoor je direct op de veren zat, meerdere ingezakte plekken etc. De bank is meerdere malen gerepareerd tot de garantieperiode. Daarna kon ik het bekijken en hebben ze laten weten dat Fest niet meer wilde meewerken, omdat de garantieperiode voorbij was. Heel erg jammer. Voor het geld verwacht je een betere kwaliteit èn vooral een fatsoenlijke service. Overigens heeft Flinders wel uitstekend zijn best gedaan. Pas geleden nogmaals geprobeerd zelf contact te zoeken met Fest, maar helaas wordt mijn klacht tot op heden genegeerd.

Status 02-07-2025: Helaas heb ik tot op heden nog GEEN reactie of oplossing ontvangen vanuit Fest, ondanks hun reactie op mijn review.

Dank je wel voor het delen van je ervaring. We vinden het erg vervelend om te lezen dat je zo teleurgesteld bent in de kwaliteit van jouw Clay bank en de manier waarop alles verlopen is.

Een bank moet comfortabel zijn en mag je verwachten dat een bank jarenlang meegaat, zeker bij een investering zoals deze. Dat je al in het eerste jaar met zulke gebreken te maken kreeg, en nu geen gehoor meer lijkt te krijgen is uiteraard niet de service waar wij voor staan.

Hoewel de garantietermijn inderdaad verlopen is, wille nee alsnog graag met je meekijken of er een passende oplossing mogelijk is. Dat je klacht is blijven liggen of genegeerd wordt is absoluut niet de bedoeling. Onze excuses daarvoor!

Zou je zo vriendelijk willen zijn om ons opnieuw een mail te sturen via service@festamsterdam.nl onder vermelding van je ordergegevens en recente foto’s? Dan zorgen wij ervoor dat dit serieus wordt opgepakt door het service team.

Daarnaast fijn te horen dat Flinders je prettig heeft geholpen en nemen we je feedback zeker mee voor verbetering.

Worst experience ever with FEST

First and last time I bought anything from FEST. They delivered us a wrong couch and damaged our neighbour's property with their delivery van, but refuse to provide any compensation (except "a free decorative pillow" which feels like a joke). In addition, their customer service has been extremely slow and unprofessional, sometimes not answering to us at all, and resolving this issue has already taken over a month. The whole experience has been a nightmare and I wouldn't recommend FEST to anyone.

We are very sorry that the couch was delivered with the wrong type of fabric and have tried different ways to resolve the issue and have offered to have the new couch produced while you use the current one, a compensation or discount on the current sofa and a pillow as compensation for the wait time, but we are sorry we could not live up to your expectations. We have spoken with your partner about the damage to the neighbour's property. They let us know that the damage was not the fault of our delivery team and all would be resolved, otherwise we would have investigated and compensated any damages caused by our team.

Our customer service team has informed me that the matter will be resolved and hope we can bring this to a close.

Amazing products that last

I bought over the years multiple articles from FEST: dining chairs and table, a coffee table, a love seat and a lamp. I’m always super happy with the design (stunning) and the quality of the products, that stay perfect even after years of heavy use. I always have compliments from guests at my place on how comfy the dining chairs are! Had also the best experience both in store with the competent and kind staff and with the customer service online. The delivery time for some products is longer because it’s custom made, but it’s always communicated clearly and delivered within the promised time. Would definitely keep buying from FEST in the future!

Onjuiste producten geleverd

Na 10 weken wachten op onze bestelling zijn helaas de verkeerde stoelen bij ons geleverd, onjuiste kleur en materiaal. Absoluut behulpzame klantenservice, maar nu moeten wij opnieuw minimaal 10 weken wachten op de juiste stoelen zonder mogelijkheid om dit proces door fest te laten versnellen. Verder moet je rekening houden met lange wachttijd tussen bevestiging dat je producten klaar staan in het magazijn en het moment van afleveren, bij ons 3,5 week, omdat er niet eerder een aflever mogelijkheid was en fest niet akkoord ging met het zelf ophalen van de bestelling. Wel fijn dat we de onjuiste stoelen in de tussentijd mogen gebruiken en ze zitten absoluut heerlijk!
