The North East Ambulance Service provides award-winning, paramedic-led, First Aid, Health & Safety and Trauma Training courses. Since 2012, we have trained more than 22,000 delegates from over 1,400 businesses and organisations. The money that we raise through training and event cover is reinvested back into our ambulances and crews. Given the challenging environment we operate in, we massively appreciate the support we receive from our customers. Attended my FREC 3
Attended my FREC 3 Course on the 09/02/26 with NEAS. The course was well presented and the equipment and scenarios made it realistic.
The course staff were amazing and they had the experience to back up what they were teaching us. I would definitely recommend the North East Ambulance Service for anyone considering doing their FREC.

The FREC 3 course I attended last week…
The FREC 3 course I attended last week was an amazing learning experience, and the instructors were brilliant throughout. They had a fantastic rapport with all the students, created a supportive atmosphere, and made the learning genuinely enjoyable. Phil and Pate were our instructors, the knowledge they shared was incredible.

A profoundly enriching learning experience.
My experience was educative as well as very enlightening. The tutors were very friendly, receptive and willing to go the extra mile just to make sure that we all understood the course and I guess that made the assessment at the end of the course an easy task because we where taught properly and the practical sessions were amazing as we all had enough time to carry out each exercises as many times as possible or as we wanted just to be well grounded. Thanks to the NHS North East Ambulance Service for their services to humanity and their immense efforts and contributions to saving lives.

Brilliant First Aid Training!
Pete and Pete were both incredibly knowledgeable. Everything was explained simply and clearly with plenty of time for practice. The trainers were supportive, friendly and helpful, making sure the whole class was competent by the end.

The 2 day refresher sessions were very informative, just about the right amount of time and pace, practical's were a good way of getting involved and hands on experience. Questionnaires helped to reassure our knowledge. Very well presented and clear. Enjoyed the course.

CPR & Medical Emergency Training ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We had a full day of CPR and Medical Emergency training spread out over 2 sessions.
As usual the service from NEAS was amazing!
Pete and Tony looked after us, they made the training fun and updated us with all the new changes.
The full team enjoyed their day - so thank you!

First Aid at Work Training
Our instructor Andy was so friendly, extremely knowledgeable and approached first aid training with an open, honest and inviting perspective. He made everyone feel confident and reinstated our knowledge through repeated practical elements so we could put the theory he taught us into practice. The three-day course flew by and I couldn't recommend Andy and NEAS more for this training.
