How this Shower do business is beyond me. They don't answer the phone. I have been trying to pay a renewal Premium on line and it won't let me. I sent them an E Mail and they havnt responded to it. I had a Motor Claim last year and had to actually make contact with the Insurance Company myself in order to process it. Complete and utter waste of Space.

Great service from Dean Campbell from start to finish. He was extremely pleasant and dealt with my household insurance renewal in a very efficient manner. We done. See you next year.

I had the pleasure of dealing with Dean Campbell for my car insurance renewal. He was very friendly and knowledgeable, and made the whole process very easy and stress free.

I rang to change my policy today and add my adult son with a full license. I got excellent service, quickly and everything was handled very helpfully. I have been with them for six years and appreciate the help.

With First Ireland near 13 years and never had an issue with them that wasn’t solved immediately. Any time I have had to contact them, I’ve always received great service. Most recently today - shout out to Dean Campbell ! Rang for a quote to change cars and Dean was brillant. He was so pleasant and went through everything thoroughly with me.

This company must be short staffed. It takes 25 or 30 mins to get to talk to someone on the phone. Sometimes they don`t reply to your emails.
I rang for a quote for car insurance for my daughter, then I went and bought the car, rang back to pay the premium and it had jumped up by almost €900.

After filling out an online car insurance quote, the system told me that there was data missing and I needed to go back and fill it out, but I couldn't see where.
I then phoned the company to help, but I had been left waiting for 10 minutes for someone to pick up the phone. I didn't get a good feeling after reading all the other reviews while I waited.

Appalling customer service. Tried ringing at least 10 times and was left on phone for over 20 mins each time before the line was cut off.
Then emailed their customer service (as suggested by their website) and got no response.
Lost an insurance refund as a result.

It's been 10-days since my car insurance policy was cancelled with First Ireland, after many years of being a loyal customer. This was due to a miscommunication on direct debit details (not on none payments). One-I felt I had a fair explanation for and two- both parties, myself and first Ireland had to blame. I was distressed by their callas and indecent approach to my situation. Due to this cancellation, I have been rejected by all car insurance companies, I have been on a 10-day goose chase trying to rectify this situation. I need to wait another three-working days to receive three denial letters from three different companies, to then apply to denials cases, of which will take longer.
I am 33, I have been driving 10-years with no claims, and I am always up-to-date payments. My awarded premium due to no-claims and a clean full drivers licence was €395 with Aviva, this will now rise significantly I'm sure.
I depend on my car for work, and domestic use and this has completely disrupted everything. I am aware that regulation is essential, but there should never be a one-size fits all solution.
I felt so unheard and disregarded, the customer service is severely lacking. They understand they have the power in the situation.

I am writing this note here to create a track of cancellation request in the first 14 days. This is Hikmet Engin Kurtkaya. I called customer service multiple times and waited 20 minutes each time, but I couldn't reach anybody. I applied for car insurance on 24/01. However, I would like to cancel it now, BCS. I don't need it anymore. The Saleswoman told me that I could cancel my policy in the first 14 days. Could you please cancel my car insurance and refund my payment?

I received a call from customer support and they said that one of your sales agents will reach out to me this week but nobody called me. Please have a look ASAP.
