Didn’t arrive on the date given
Didn’t arrive on the date given. Contacted First Mats and was told it would be with me 4 days later. Waited in and it still didn’t arrive. That’s twice I have waited and it’s not arrived. I’m still waiting.

Your mat needed to be remade to make sure it met our quality standards, which pushed it back beyond the date we originally gave you. We should have kept you better informed along the way, and we're taking that on board to improve how we communicate delays.

Logo Mat
We ordered a mat about 2 months ago. Very easy process on their web site and took delivery about 3 weeks later. Really swift order to delivery which is great for busy businesses.
The quality of the mat is absolutely spot on.
Long pile, soft material and the logo copied very acurately.
Only one issue, because of the pile and the shiny materials used, it looked a very dark blue.
I needed it to be black as it was an entrance mat.
I emailed and spoke to a lovely gentleman called David Parker who addressed my issue and asked if i could take 2 weeks to see if after foot traffic and hoovering, the colour would darken. I agreed and left it for 2 weeks, the colour didn't change.
On speaking to David, he mentioned a different product he could use and put another mat into production. 3 weeks later the mat arrived. Absolutely spot on, colour, logo everything. The pile is shorter as advised and the depth of the black now sits perfectly with the sofas etc.
I want to say a huge thanks to the company but mainly David for his Customer Service - second to none.

Plush pile can sometimes shift how a colour reads compared with a flatter finish, so we really appreciate your patience while we waited to see whether it would settle with foot traffic. Switching to a shorter pile was the right call for a true deep black, and it's great to hear it now sits perfectly alongside your sofas and that the logo came out accurately on both mats.

First mats
I ordered up a Mat for my home and was very disappointed that it didn’t arrive as scheduled.
I sent a email regarding this and was told it was the courier company’s fault.
I asked for a refund and I waited over a week to receive my refund.
I don’t understand why this company just couldn’t use an other courier and deliver my Mat.

Your mat was dispatched promptly from our warehouse, but unfortunately the delivery did not go as expected. While the issue occurred with the courier, we fully appreciate that you placed your order with First Mats and that the overall experience is ultimately our responsibility.
I’m also sorry that your refund took longer than it should have to reach you. We have reviewed what happened and have since been looking closely at our courier arrangements to help prevent similar issues going forward.
I have also contacted you personally to apologise and to try to put things right.

Not delivered after waiting 13 days and when questioned the sales rep never phoned back. Turns out it hasn’t even been made yet and will be another 4 days.
