Good service and my requests regarding the courtesy car were accomodated.

Excellent service throughout from organising when my car could go in, sorting out a courtesy car, and dealing with the handover at the end. Helpful, pleasant, and patient at all times.

Great communication throughout the process, kept fully abreast of the ongoing repair. Excellent, very professional job.

They were great at communicating with me and dealing with my difficult insurance company. They gave regular updates about the car.
The staff member who collected the car from my house was very kind and informative about the process.
However they did originally tell me it was going to take 4 weeks to replace the bumper on my car. They did then manage to do it in 2 which does make me think they deliberately over estimated to begin with.
To be completely honest the bumper did not even need replacing. My car went in through my insurance company and they were obviously trying to make as much money as possible. It only needed some paint correction and for the headlight to be reseated level but they replaced the bumper, the wing, the wheel arch, the alloy and the tire. They turned what would have been a £500 insurance claim into a £3000 insurance claim. Given the option I will not use again.
When I then collected the car with its brand new tire on, it had a pressure warning light. Instead of checking the pressure of the tire they just reset the warning and when I got home and checked it myself I found out it was 10 PSI under the manufacturer safety rating.

The response below states that the bumper and wing were not replaced and the only replaced parts were the plastic trim and minor pieces. While on the phone with your staff I was told my car had undergone “substantial repairs” and that a large number of replacement parts had been ordered which is why the final bill was going to be “quite large”. So I would say that someone has lied to me somewhere along the line.

And now over 2 weeks since having the car back you have offered to inflate the tyre for me. No thank you, I have managed to do it myself in that length of time.

I am incredibly disappointed with the standard of repair work and customer service from this garage. Our car was sent here through our insurance company (Admiral), but the final finish is completely unacceptable.
​This is a leasing car, which means it is an absolute requirement that all repairs are completed to strict manufacturer standards. We were explicitly promised by the garage that the vehicle would be returned to this factory-perfect condition, but that promise was not delivered.
​The paintwork and finishing on the inside door edges are a total mess. Instead of a smooth, professional factory finish, it looks rough and uneven.
​Shockingly, the car went back to them three separate times to try and get them to correct their poor workmanship. On the fourth attempt, the garage flatly refused to take the car back, stating that they "were not able to do any more than that."
​If a professional, insurer-approved garage cannot fix their own mistakes to a manufacturer standard after three attempts, they should not be taking on the work. Because of their failure, we risk being heavily penalized by our leasing company. We have now rejected the vehicle and logged a formal complaint with Admiral to get this substandard job corrected by a proper garage.

We visited FixAuto UK in Basingstoke for rectification of a paint finish issue on my wife’s Volvo EX30.
I can’t speak highly enough of the service we received there.
The manager at the branch called Mark, could not having been more accommodating to us.
He came and dealt with us personally. Mark then had one of his technicians look at the paint issue on the car immediately.
Mark then had the car brought into the workshops where a technician rectified the paint issue while we waited on site which was a really kind thing to do and saved us return travel.
My wife needed to be on a video call meeting on her laptop whilst we were at the body shop and the manager Mark even found a quiet room for her to carry out this call in privacy and without distractions.
I felt that this level of customer service went above and beyond our expectations.
The facilities themselves are very modern, clean and bright, unlike any car body shop that I have ever been to before.
The lady on reception was very polite, friendly and efficient at her role too.
As for the technician who carried out the work on the vehicle, what can I say, superb!
He made such a good job of it and now the bonnet on my wife’s Volvo EX30 shines like a glass mirror.
Absolutely great quality job.

you went above what I expected making sure all your work looked like my car had never been in a accident . Although I only expected a new offside mirror you carried out repairs down the entire offside and rear bumber doing a first class repair of the very minor damage to both wheel arches and rear door

Car was picked up and returned to my home. Car was repaired immaculately and had been beautifully cleaned inside and out.
Jason, the delivery driver was friendly and efficient, explaining all I needed to know about the repair without taking up too much of my time on a working day,
I called twice for updates on progress, firstly the day after the expected completion date and then again a few days later. I would have appreciated proactive calls from the Customer Service team to keep me posted. When the car was ready Tracey on Reception took care of everything very efficiently.

Right from the beginning Fix Auto Basingstoke delivered 5* service repairing the damage to my car. They collected the car from my home and kept me in touch with the repair progress. Phil delivered my car back to me at a convenient time to me and did the handover. My car looks as good as new and was delivered back to me cleaned and polished inside and out.

Whilst the door repair itself was of a good standard, my car was returned with new damage to the boot, rear bumper and reversing camera. This was identified at the point of handover with the delivery team present, and their manager Mark acknowledged it and promised a call-back once the pick-up photos had been reviewed.
That was last Thursday. Since then I have emailed and made multiple attempts to chase this up. On Friday afternoon I received a call and voicemail advising that Mark was not in but that I would receive a call on Monday. Monday came and went with no call, and despite chasing again myself on Monday, I am repeatedly told that Mark is too busy to speak with me.
I understand that a busy bodyshop has pressures, but returning a customer’s car with new damage and then failing to find the time to address it is simply not acceptable. A two-minute phone call to acknowledge the situation and provide an update is not too much to ask. I sincerely hope this review prompts someone to get in touch and do the right thing.

My Audi etron electric went in for repairs and came back looking like new! Great job. It took three weeks which was longer than estimated and unfortunately it was only about 20% charged when I back got in to use it.
The communication could have been better, i had to call several times for an update and was always promised a call back but only once someone called me back, hence the 4 stars.

My vehicle window was left open in the rain and resulted in the front passenger foot well now having a damp smell (hopefully no serious damage to electrics etc). The window was left open despite numerous calls requesting that they close the window. The actual repair work done to the vehicle was of a satisfactory standard.

Car looked great when delivered back. Pick up went well. I would have liked more communication on when car was coming back. I made it clear I wanted car delivered back to my house but after a few phone calls chasing delivery was told I could pick it up. It eventually came back the following day . Delivery drivers were again great.

Fantastic service, kept up to date.

autofix have been really accommodating to work with, arranging a courtesy car and dropping/collecting my vehicle at the same time. it has now been returned by Jason who was really friendly & happy to help. The car is in immaculate condition all repaired and cleaned!
