Where do I begin !
Booked flights for July 2020 to Orlando for 9 people at at cost of £5936.00, this flight couldn't go ahead because of COVID USA travel restrictions, I asked for a refund but was told only a voucher - which I received but for £5525.00 - due to admin charges !! But they only offered me this when I took down a trust pilot review.
Fast forward and I rebook the flight to Orlando for July 2022 - I was originally booked on a BA flight, then a month later they rang me & change to a VIRGIN flight then when my final balance was due on 10.2.22 they changed it to AIR LUFTNASA - but this flight was at ac cost of £10093.26 total !! I understood prices went up & was prepared to pay this as we were finally going on holiday!
24 hours before our flight, we had a text from AirLuftansa information us the flights had been cancelled, we tried to contact FLIGHT GURU, we were told the flight wasn't cancelled & to travel to Heathrow, we asked to speak to someone to fix us new flights I was told no one in the office to sort this until 2pm, I never received any call. I contacted AIR LUFTANSA who assured me my flights were cancelled, and to contact my supplier. After numerous emails to FLIGHT GURU - the next day they agreeed the flight had been cancelled, they offered us no alternative flights, but as AIR LUFTANSA had confirmed I would receive a full refund of my tickets, I booked alternative flights to fly out from Manchester the following day, this was the next available flight to get us all to Orlando.
I have had numerous email after email with PAUL at FLIGHT GURU who is now saying I will receive £6200 refund for my flights, he first said that this is all AIR LUFTANSA are refunding, I asked him where my other monies where - he said all my monies went to AIR LUFTANSA, bu they are only paying £6200 as they were specific fares !! Specific fares have clauses on if the consumer cancels not if the airline cannot supply the service you have paid for, but I had previously been told by AIR LUFTANSA that a full refund would be made
PAUL @ FLIGHT GURU will not give me any so called correspondence from AIR LUFTANSA, and when I have repeatedly asked for it he says its with a 3RD PARTY, but he wont give me there details
MY AGREEMENT IS WITH FLIGHT GURU - YOU SUPPLIED ME THE GOODS, IF YOU DECIDE TO USE A 3RD PARTY YOU SHOULD BE INSURED FOR THIS OR INFORM THE CUSTOMER
Im in contact with ABTA, CAA, AIR LUFTANSA as we speak, I also have a freind who works on TV who has highlighted this to the channel

Im sure I'll get a phone call to remove this review as they always do, I found a Facebook page full of these complaints so i'm not an isolated case, how can this happen in 2022 - this is FRAUD
Lies, lies & no refund! Stay Away!
We booked our original flights to Chile over Christmas with a guy called Trevor & all seemed well- ( except for the fact they charged extra for paying by credit card). Unfortunately we got Covid and couldn't go, but had insurance, so was going to request a refund. Trevor tried to talk me into paying £50 each per person to change the ticket to a flexible one, but I declined. The insurance company told me that I could claim reimbursement for the flights but not the tax. As we hadn't used the flights, it's a legal requirement for them to repay this money back to me...
that was back in December & I still don't have it. On the odd time that Trevor did reply- (when he felt like it), he told me it was being looked into. He also promised several times to come back to me with an update & never did. My last couple of emails have threatened to lodge a complaint with ABTA but Trevor and the company don't seem to care as now there is radio silence. So, I still don't have the taxes refunded to me! ABTA will be hearing from me in the coming days, but BEWARE! I will NEVER book with these people again.
Non existent flights
Rang and spoke to Stanley, got a deal for some flights from man to orlando for a party of 12 all good so far.
However the airline reference received wasn't recognised by the airline, we rang Stanley back and was informed we would receive this a couple of months later, this date came and went, so we spoke with Stanley again and was told we would receive this after the balance was paid.
After we paid the balance we again requested our atol certificates and a airline reference that would work, after much pressure Stanley finally admitted he had never booked our flights and couldn't honour the price.
We have now requested a full refund from the company, will see how far we get.

I remembered being told by this company that due to the pandemic my flight was changed from Gatwick to Heathrow however, once I received my tickets (that was after complaining for 4 days) I was told that they were able to sort out my flight, however, I would have driven to Heathrow one way and had to travel back to MK from Gatwick - how crazy is that. It didn't make sense, they charged me £400.00 for their mistake. I will NEVER travel with these people again.
Worst travel agent ever
Worst travel agent ever! Tried booking a flight from Manchester to Toronto for five passengers. I was not allowed to board because there was an issue with ArriveCAN app. The agent were un-cooperative to speak with Air Transat at all cost which meant i loss over £5000.

Flights cancelled twice due to covid so booked again paid more and then cancelled again tried getting my money back that cost me to apply for and 7 months later NOTHING and I’ve called them lord knows how many times but all I get is someone will call you later. But nothing I’m going to have to go Solicicitors to see if they can get me a refund? Avoid these.
They incessantly lie to you
They incessantly lie to you. My flights were cancelled due to Covid. They wanted more money change my dates to a week later. But of course according to them no refund, as and when they are also cancelled. I tried to change for 2022, but as much again. I went to ABTA who told me I was entitled to the refund, because the flights were cancelled by the airline. I went back to them, and speaking to someone different who was half decent, he told me my refund had been applied for. They had never informed him of that. They lied to me on several occasions, and were particularly obnoxious. I will never book with them again.

Minus 1 star! Ditto to all the other SCAMMER alerts. Don’t touch with a barrage pole. Similar story as others, cancelled flights due to Covid, bought more tickets, more Covid cancellations and no refunds. Have paid £1,800 for tickets l have never used. They keep your money as cash flow, don’t pay the airline until a month before flight but even if you cancel before then keep all your money. No refund just lies. Awful, awful, people. Nightmare!

shows one price and asks to call only. when you do its almost double the shown price, saying its without checkin luggage. i dont know anyone flies without luggage on a long haul flight for 14 days. its a deceit. some may believe the call and go ahead and book for high price. should not be allowed

What a load of scammers these are .
Rude , incompetent.
Nelson the manager has conned me out of thousands.
They want money paid by bank transfers.
And got funny when I said no to the second transaction.
The first time they asked me to pay £1900 but bank transfers only or I will loose my ticket.
Which I stupidly did as my late husband always booked our holidays.
I also paid £150 for a vis that costs £7.
Every time the flight was cancelled because of COVID they charged me hundreds of pounds extra.
I had to pay hundreds out twice on top of my ticket.
Costing me £3200 in the end plus the £150 visa charge.
Which Nelson said I had and he tried to send it but got my email written down wrong.
When I rang 3 times that day asking where it is he said he didn’t have it.
Another lie to add to the list of rubbish I had to deal with.
Sold me tickets to a place where the boarders are closed.
And wouldn’t refund my money but asked for extra to move the date.
Knowing that the boarders are closed still.
Told them I haven’t got the money and was asked to put it on a credit card to borrow the money off my children.
Who’s dad died 2 years ago I front of them and they are under 15 .
The prices are more than double on what you will find anywhere else.
When looking at a ticket it said £1255 ,
When I went to pay they said it was £1975 now due to not booking the same night,
Hence why I paid the £75 deposit on the phone then had to rush they said to pay the £1900 by bank transfer to secure my seat or the price will go up again.
No one would speak to me after I sent 3 emails of complaints, they said I had to speak to only Nelson.
Who I’ve found out via trust pilot that Nelson has done the same to others as well, and his name has come up a couple times.
Trust pilot took down my last post. So they are I feel misleading people by not showing the truth behind this company.
They are continuously ripping people off and are allowed to do so via this page.
After looking into this company there’s hundreds of people who have been scammed and written off by this company
THIS SCAMMER DESERVE 0 STAR BUT THERE IS NO OPTION
I spoke to MR. GARREN on 4th of April2021 to book 2 tickets from Lahore to London before Red List deadline of Pakistan , he told me the price and I wished to buy the Tickets. Mr. GARREN was in so Hurry to charge me.
On his saying I gave him my Credit Card details and he charged me £400. Then he called me and also sent me an email to pay rest amount is his account.
I requested him to charge me from my credit card but he was STUBBORN to transfer money to his bank account. When I tried my bank WARNED me again again to not deposit money in his account.
Then I spoke to him and informed me about the situation he told me no worry transfer 200£ every single time. I asked him why are you saying me this he said because ticket is selling off.
I tried again to transfer money to his account that time I got an email from my bank that someone is doing wrong with my bank.
I spoke to Mr GARREN who had the same same ATTITUDE of a SCAMMER . Then I make sense and requested him to refund but he was STUPID CRAZY and threaten me that he will not refund me and will take more money from my account.
Honestly I scared, as I was already in trouble in this DIFFICULT TIME and this SCAMMER PUT ME IN TROUBLE MORE.
Now today 12/04/2021, I called again and requested him to refund my money back he in the beginning told me O Mr Imtiaz I will not forget you I told him sure.
Because you already stole money from my account . I requested him I didn’t call you to repeat the past I want to book a tickets and adjust the amount that you already have taken from my Credit card.
He was so RUDE and started to give me wrong prices that were doubled the prices of real on his company website.
When I told him that he is not giving me the right price he started to THREAT me do what do you want to do , I requested him look I’m in trouble don’t create more trouble for me.
His word were very strange and threatened. I told him I will speak to my MP about your behaviour and CUSTOMER services he told me , do whatever I can he will not refund me. He told he has very STRONG LEGAL TEAM.
I just request the the COMMUNITY DO NOT VISIT , Call, and BUY any ticket from THIS SCAMMER COMPANY.
AVOID AND BE SAFE
And. MR GARREN WHO IS NIGHT SHIFT MANAGER MUST BE ANSWERABLE TO THE AUTHORITIES.
He challenged his customers, and I don’t know what power he has .
I request the GOVERNMENT OF UK MUST TAKE ACTION AGAINST THIS SCAMMER COMPANY ,

Do not use flight Guru
Booking with this company is no problem, but I would say that about any travel agent. The problems lay once you need your agent to work for you.
I had a cancelled flight . Guru at the time (March 2020)said I could only go for a change of date or voucher. We decided to change dates to Nov same year. Unfortunately that was cancelled by the airline. All seemed OK as I spoke to a manager at Guru who assured me a refund was due (Oct 2020). This would take 8 to 12 weeks. I was ok with this. After that I have had nothing but lies and deception. They even said they would use the money owed as down payment for another holiday that I requested, then kept me hanging on without sending quotes. Leaving me to book with other company loosing out on the Jan Sales.
I have contacted the Airline direct who assured me they would have paid the refund within 40 days of cancellation.
Manager now not taking my calls. Wrote hard copy letter and emails, no reply. Phoned a number of occassions but only get a foreign call centre, not helping at all. I wouldn't mind to much if they were honest and gave me a straight answer with a true time frame. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

I went to hell and back with them and they have no heart,no remorse they act as if they came from another planet. When I payed for a flight with them to the USA my flight was cancelled i asked them what is going to happen and they told me i’ve lost that money, so to put me on another flight i will have to pay my travel fair all over again because it's not there fault. I couldn't believe what they were saying to me and i asked to speak to the manager, but to my surprise he was worst and that's when I found out that they are scammers. This is an actual Scam I’ve paid over £1400 for a flight to the Caribbean and they still expected me to pay for a flight that was cancelled and it was not my fault. This should be 0 stars as during this difficult time of covid19 an upcoming flight has been cancelled and to book a new flight I am being offered a new flight which although cheaper than original he is charging me additional costs on top which he cannot justify and I was told by another operator they could offer me a flight which I would not have to pay more money for, and he is not prepared to give me a refund for the flight which has been cancelled. Their is no empathy for the situation which is out of my control. The manager Garren is so rude and highly unprofessional as every suggestion we make he says what ever its not his responsibility. Never in my life have I dealt with such a rude and untrustworthy organisation. Totally phoney travel company only good for taking your money.

i rang FLIGHTSGURU on 6th December 2019 at 7.30 pm as i had seen a flight for London to goa in February returning in April for £437
amazing, can't book online phone only so as i said i rang them gave them the dates only to be told that was one way only, now as i have said i put in the dates on their website outbound and return and the price came up as £437 along with a list of other prices from other carriers, i came down from being amazed to gobsmacked, what a rip of company, when told the return flight, would be over £850, if i went direct to AIRINDIA on their e-commerce website i can get a return flight for £493, i say again rip off company, if i could give it no stars i would.
