Not worth it. We got this as an add on to a membership. If you follow their rules EXACTLY, meaning getting them a physical boarding pass, hotel confirmation etc, then they will pay, but they will take 6-9 months to pay you. Customer service and communication are poor. Do not pay for the service.

Have been submitting since 2016. Started out difficult but they sent us reimbursement 6-8 months later. The last 4-5 years has turned into a total waste of time and effort. Zero communication, complete breach and inflation of standards and white tape never included in our contract that the approval department deemed the reason for denying our submission.

I have threatened to take legal action which has turned into less communication, which is nearly impossible at this point and last year sent them a complete breakdown with dates and line items of the entire process that proved objectively how they were at fault and just continued to get nowhere and zero acknowledgement that they are at fault.

I am owed 4k minimum at this point with another request in process now. I spent hours last trip at the resort trying to get someone to give me answers and got nowhere. There are multiple other couples there trying to do the same.

This company is criminal. Since they changed ownerships and relationships it has went completely down the drain and should not be allowed to even offer this service. DO NOT BUY!

Flyback is a scam but what can be done about them is my question? I was reimbursed twice in 2024 and 2025 and then this year, they decided not to for failure to acknowledge my flyback from last year! They are hurting the resorts imo. We will be taking it up with Iberostar in our case and if they don’t take $1500 off our next vacation, we are done with them! This would not be tolerated in Canada, U.S or Europe as they would be sued and shutdown!

The flyback program is a big scam. they will do anything they can to not refund your money. They will not review your application on time or provide you with enformation of what you missed. Then they will say that the time expired so they do not have to pay you.

Flybacks is the biggest scam in the history of travel. 19 times since November of 2025 I provided documentation and each time they said it was wrong. We redeemed 4 times each time being stressful. Don't do it it's a scam.

They do everything to deny payment. Draconian requirements. Even if you follow their dictates to the letter, they make up new reasons to delay or deny. Our contract says checks or wire transfers. Now they cannot do checks. Now they don't like joint checking accounts. Payments can take a year or more. Some vacation club members report waiting 2 to 3 years, only to be told

Gave it a one because there is no option for a zero. Buyer beware, this is a scam and your contract means nothing. Changing of the submission process resulting in no payments. Going on 17 months trying to get paid for first submission and 7 months trying to get paid for second submission. There is always an excuse and I will likely never see a payment.

Absolute scam

Waiting on redeems from 2024 and 2025. They are not honoring their contracts. All required paperwork has been submitted and still they stall and delay payments.

If I could give less than a one star I most certainly would. Total scam of a company. Don’t waste your money buying into them. I’m still waiting after two years for my reimbursement and have to keep contacting them relentlessly without any helpful communication from them. It’s crazy how flyback holds us to the letter of our contract in submission of our documents but doesn’t hold themselves accountable to the contact. My contract states I will receive my reimbursement within 30 days of approval of my submission. It was approved two years ago when I submitted but I’m still waiting. Lousy customer service and even shadier practices. Save your money and your frustrations by NOT BUYING INTO THIS SCAM OF A COMPANY!!!

Our family has had a 10 year contract ending in 2026 and for seven years we received our reimbursement with moderate issues but they usually took 6 months to provide these funds which goes against the terms of the contract. Since 2024 however, they have completely stopped paying us and give little to no reason why but only stating that they are " are still in the review process". I currently have 4 open reimbursement submissions still open and after calling them multiple times and reminding them that there are terms within the contract that states a window of time in which they must pay us back after fulfilling all their requirements (which we always do) and thusly, they are obligated to meet the contract terms. Let's face it, they are not going to pay anyone any longer. I have heard other Exotic members that have the same story. I bought the contract from Exotic Travelers and they are still selling these contracts to this day. Flyback has stated that they do not have a good relationship with Exotic any longer and that we, as members of Exotic are very low priority. So they are basically saying that they are breaching contract, they don't care and there is nothing that we can do about it.
I am not under the process of researching how I can litigate against Exotic Travelers and Flyback.
If you are considering buying one of these Flyback contracts, save yourself a lot of heartache and refuse.

Complete disaster. Do not purchase. We received a few paybacks initially but in 2022 things went South and they have not paid us for 2 more submittals which are now 2 and 3 years overdue. They will beat you down. Not worth it. Avoid avoid avoid

Too bad I can't give a negative star! This is a scam. I've been a member for two years. First year, I had to call monthly, and it took me 8 months to be reimbursed, and I still got less than $500 per person. This year, in February, I did the same thing. I got a submission acknowledgment email and then radio silence. I called today, and they told me I never provided payment instructed with in 45 days of my visit. HELLO!!! what the hell are they reviewing emails for if it's not to inform customers of deficiencies?

I am so livid right now. They're a bunch of thieves.

I would like to warn other travelers to be very careful with the FlyBack.mx program.

In my case, I submitted my FlyBack request and followed the required process, but there has been no meaningful response. I received no email update, no clear explanation, and no change in the portal status. I also sent a question through the electronic form inside the portal, but that was not answered either.

At this point, the program feels unreliable and non-transparent. Travelers should not count on FlyBack.mx benefits unless everything is clearly confirmed in writing before making travel decisions.

My recommendation to other travelers is simple: be very cautious with this program, keep screenshots and copies of all submissions, and do not rely on FlyBack.mx promises as part of your vacation planning.

Based on my experience so far, I cannot recommend this program.

This program is designed to take your money. We were able to get one reimburssment out of three attempts. Do not waste your money and efforts on them.

⭐ 1/5 AVOID THE FLYBACK PROGRAM AT ALL COSTS

I am an MDC/Xcaret member who genuinely loves the resort experience. But the FlyBack Mexico program is, without question, the worst customer experience I have ever had with any travel-related product.

Here is what you can expect if you sign up:

❌ ZERO clarity. The program rules, submission requirements, and timelines are vague by design. You are never given a clear, complete list of what is required upfront, you find out documents are missing or wrong only after weeks of waiting.

❌ ZERO communication. After submitting documents, you hear nothing. No confirmation, no status updates, no acknowledgment. You are left chasing them, not the other way around.

❌ ENDLESS delays. Document validation takes an unreasonable amount of time with no explanation and no accountability. What is promised as a straightforward reimbursement process becomes an exhausting, months-long ordeal.

❌ TERRIBLE customer service. Representatives are unresponsive, unhelpful, and incapable of providing real answers. Asking to speak to a manager gets you nowhere. Escalating gets you nowhere. They simply do not care.

This program is sold to you as a meaningful membership benefit during the Xcaret sales presentation. It is not a benefit. It is a liability, a waste of your time, your money, and your energy.

I have filed a complaint with PROFECO and I strongly encourage anyone who has been misled by this program to do the same.

To MDC/Xcaret: you are attaching your brand to a program that is damaging your members' trust in you. That is on you.

NEVER AGAIN.

We are on our 11th Flyback submission and have gotten paid for each one. Rules change for international transactions so that had led to timelines changing. Be patient, if you follow a few simple rules you will get your funds.

Our first few Flyback refunds took several months, but we received our refunds.

Since the Exotic split, Flyback has not followed through with their legal contractual duties. We have four outstanding refunds, including two from 2 YEARS ago and two from 13 months ago.

Each time we reach out to Flyback via telephone call or email, we receive a new version of the same old lies. And, unfortunately, Exotic refuses to help any of its members. Exotic is 100% complicit in Flyback's scam, as they promote and sell Flyback, knowing full well its members are not receiving their refunds.

Do not pay for Flyback. Do not join Exotic.
