I have just returned from the Annapurna Circuit Trek and couldn’t wait to share what an Amazing experience I had. Follow Alice provided a fabulous experience and above and beyond service and support.

My guide Nishan was an absolute treasure. He is so knowledgeable, professional, kind and responsive to any needs. Whether I was ascending very slowly :) up a mountain, or needed anything at all, he was always there to be supportive, literally every step of the way. He took the time to explain details of the trip, the mountains, history, culture and more. I learned more from him than I ever expected to. I felt very safe in trusting my journey to him, and would book another trip that he was leading in a heartbeat. He is simply the best!
The porter, Kabi consistently went far above and beyond his duties to ensure I had everything I needed, and had an enjoyable experience.

On the trek I saw many other travel groups with their guides, and after observing, was certain that my guide and porter were by far the best out there!!

I am not sure I would have made it to Thorong-La Pass without them, and I am certain that I would not have had such a wonderful experience if I had any other guide/porter!

Puru and the Follow Alice staff were very responsive and helpful throughout the planning and duration of the trip. It was great to know that I had such knowledgeable, friendly and kind associates at Follow Alice to help along the way!
Sonam gave very personalized attention and care for which I was also grateful.
I also highly recommend the tours that Follow Alice provided around Kathmandu if possible. The tour guides were incredibly informative and kind, and provided lasting memories I will cherish!

Had a really wonderful week in Bhutan. The itinerary was fantastic, very well thought through and a good mix. Can’t compliment my local guide enough - he was very knowledgeable, kind and helpful at all times. The Follow Alice team were great in organising the trip, with Puru being really helpful through the process. I had a really good experience from start to finish - thank you everyone! It’s a great country to visit and this was a perfect introduction.

This is a twofold review of Follow Alice. I participated in the 7 day Lemosho Kilimanjaro trek in 10/2023. The group of hikers was a wonderful bunch from all different parts of the world and it was a wonderful experience getting to know them and celebrate our experience together.

There were several hiccups on the trip including booking errors for some of my fellow hikers for the hotel room prior to and post hike. The rental equipment was not as organized as it should have been. A few climbers did not get their parka until the day before summit day to name a few issues.

The guides and porters were all top notch and they made wonderful meals, a tidy camp and made the actual climb a wonderful experience. Post climb, I had scheduled the 2 day safari and also had logistic issues as my driver/guide was sent to the wrong hotel by person in charge locally, delaying my start by over an hour. It seemed that the local management was not as polished as the pre trip organizational group. Other than that, the trip was a wonderful experience.

I decided to give Follow Alice another try and recently participated in their 12 day Bhutan adventure. A completely different and wonderful experience. From the start, Puru answered all my questions and made sure the pre trip process was smooth. The local contacts in Bhutan with Daniel and Sonam running the background operations was wonderful. They were very helpful when I had problems with the ATM machine at Paro airport as well as making contact with me several times during the trip in several locations, insuring all my needs were being met.

The most wonderful part of the trip was my experience with my guide, Sonam Wangchuk and driver, Jingme. These truly wonderful people made my experience genuine. They were always looking out for me, accommodating to my needs and adjusting the schedule to optimize my experiences. When they discerned my enjoyment with hiking, they accommodated the schedule to insure I had plenary of opportunities for such. When they learned I preferred to hike up instead of down, they switched the schedule/direction of activités to allow this as opposed to the original schedule that would direct my hike down. When they discerned that I enjoyed immersion into the culture instead of the traditional hotel meals catered to tourists, they insured I had the opportunity to have more traditional meals including farmhouse and homestead meals, even arranging cooking lessons in one of the sites for the traditional Ema datshi (chili cheese) that is a staple in their diet.

In Bumthang, we fit the 2 day sites into the first day, thus allowing an off script second day where I was taken to Sonam and Jingme’s village where I experienced a real immersion into what rural life in Bhutan was like. I consider Sonam and Jingme to be more than just wonderful representatives of the Bhutanese people, more than just friends, but rather family. They invited me into their lives and I will always cherish those experiences. Anyone interested in experiencing rather than just visiting Bhutan should request Sonam Wanchuk for their guide and Jingme as their driver, you won’t regret that decision.

We just returned from the Northern Circuit with Follow Alice. They were fantastic! Trevor and Gideon were experienced and personable guides who always put safety first. Elli made delicious high quality meals which kept us moving up the mountain. (How he creates that magic in such a rural area is amazing.). William was so supportive and encouraging (he was the first person I hugged coming down off the summit). And everyone works their butts off to make sure the experience is everything we hoped for. We also did a safari trip, waterfall hike with coffee farm, and a city tour. Every guide was fabulous. John had so much information about the animals and conservation. Christian made the hike and coffee making so fun (and he knows information about every plant on that mountain.) And the city tour was a great way to end our trip while waiting for our flight out. All the accommodations were top notch and staff had high customer service throughout. I can't say enough good things. I am looking at Peru or Iceland next and will defiantly use Follow Alice.

I want to insist that Follow Alice is the safest and most accommodating organization I could ever imagine! On the 9 day Northern Circuit Route, I developed a respiratory infection that got worse as we gained altitude. On day 7, the 3 Guides decided that I could not climb anymore, even though I felt terrific! I think they saved my life. I will be forever grateful to my Guides, Trevor, Paul and Vincent, and all of the Porters for giving me a magical trek! They treated me like a Queen! I will climb again with Follow Alice. They are hands down the best company to travel with!

I have just returned from the 9 Day Northern Circuit Trek on Kilimanjaro with Follow Alice.
The whole Follow Alice crew was great. They were all concerned about my safety and experience. Their service really hit it out of the park.
You can see that they not only went out of their way to make my experience great but it was also obvious that they made sure that their crew was properly taken care of and had the proper equipment.
I am typically a DIY adventurer but would have no problem using Follow Alice again for an adventure of mine.
I highly recommend them.

I had an incredible time in Peru with Follow Alice. My trip included Cusco, the Sacred Valley, the Inca Trail, Machu Picchu and Lima. Our guides Greco, Arturo and Mario were excellent and everything was taken care of for us. Our driver Ever would have coffee and local treats for us on long drives. I loved the gorgeous and varied landscapes, esp. the striations of Palcoyo and Vinicunca Rainbow Mountains and the absolutely towering peaks of the Andes seen on the Inca Trail. Our mountain crew on the Inca Trail were so friendly and helpful. They are supermen the way they literally run along the trail with large loads on their backs. Lima and Cusco are such fascinating cities, and I learned so much unexpected history that I don't think I'll ever forget. There are so many reasons why Peru is famous, and this trip just cemented in my mind how justified all the fuss is. A country like this has to be experienced for yourself.

We chose Follow Alice for our 8 day Lemosho route climb (Kilimanjaro) and had an amazing experience.
It was very well organized with an incredible crew of 18 people (porters, helping porters, cook, guide and assistant guide...) for us 3. The team was very kind, helpful, always there to make sure we had everything we needed. I especially thank Francis and Innocent, our guides who always had good and friendly advices to make us reach the summit, Pascal for his always good mood and services, the friendly and so talented cook, Alfred and John for ensuring our comfort, Juomo for the great songs, our personal porters...
It was a great human and challenging experience! Landscapes were also incredible with sea of clouds, glaciers etc. It was incredible!!

After repeatedly reviewing Follow Alice's videos dedicated to Kilimanjaro, I chose Lemosho road, for 7 days. I arrived at the hotel (Lindrin lodge) three days before the start of the climb. I had time for acclimatization and also to explore the nearby town of Moshi, with a company guide. I also enjoyed the wonderful setting of the hotel and its gardens - full of flowering shrubs, exotic trees and lots of birds! The food was delicious and varied! I'm very glad I went earlier, it was very interesting. One tip - visit the KPOP store, but the one after the descent from Kilimanjaro!!! I am extremely pleased with the staff at Follow Alice! From the first to the last correspondence, they provided fast and adequate support...even for the smallest details!!! The professionalism of their guides was of utmost importance to the success of everyone in the group!!! It was very difficult to part with the Florence (The main guide) team at the end of the last day... I felt them like friends! The route itself was fascinating, with wonderful views at all heights, and the conditions provided - tents, sleeping bags, equipment - without any complaints! The food was extremely delicious.... I even try to replicate some of the salads at home....
I also want to mention the wonderful staff at Lindrin lodge - always smiling, always ready to help... Amazing staff! I would go back there again!

I recently had the incredible opportunity to climb Kilimanjaro, and I cannot thank FollowAlice enough for making this adventure unforgettable.

The tour was perfectly organized, the mountain team was just amazing and made us feel safe, welcome and that we could do it. All of them were extremely nice and give me memories I will bring forever in my heart. A special thank to our guides Trevor and Willy who accompanied us though all the Kili paths, pole pole, supporting us and making us reach the Uhuru peak.

I also did an extra tour day in Moshi, learning how to make coffee. I had a lovely afternoon with the local people and I learned a lot.

We climbed Kilimanjaro in June 2024 with Follow Alice. We chose this company for their offered routes, provided gear, competitive prices, and their affiliation with KPAP. From our initial emails with questions to booking our trip, the process was seamless, and the staff was incredibly helpful.

On the mountain, the Follow Alice guides, porters, porter helpers, and chefs were outstanding. They ensured our safety, comfort, and peace of mind throughout the journey. My boyfriend and I got engaged at Uhuru Peak, and the team celebrated us at dinner back at camp, it was such a surprise! The team are the most amazing, hardworking, and kind people I have ever met!

After the climb, we enjoyed a 4-day safari. Our driver was very kind and made sure we saw all our favorite animals. The nightly accommodations were excellent as well.

Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our entire experience and plan to use Follow Alice for future adventures!

We booked two activities with Follow Allice:
1) the 7-day Machame Route on Kilimanjaro was absolutely perfect. We are so glad we chose to Follow Alice up Kilimanjaro! The team was extremely professional (beyond expectations), and made sure that we had one of the greatest adventures of our life. The team for our climb was outstanding and put the safety of the group first. The guides always checked on the status of every member and made sure we all felt supported and well taken care of, not only by our guides, but also the cookers, porters and entire crew. Everyone had such a positive spirit that it overflowed into every aspect of our climb.
2) a 5-day Safari to Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. I would give this experience 5 stars if it weren't for the fact that, on the second day of the expedition, the driver was late, causing us to travel at night towards the northern Serengeti and eventually get stuck in the mud. When we requested help via radio, no one responded, and we quickly realized that the driver was overwhelmed by the situation, which increased the group's anxiety.
Finally, we decided to take the initiative and get out of the vehicle to try to free it from the mud and continue our journey. This was not ideal in the middle of the Serengeti at night, but fortunately, our efforts paid off, and we were able to proceed. If it weren't for this incident, which caused significant stress and uncertainty for the group, I would have given the highest rating.

One of us had birthday and the Follow Alice team surprised us with a cake at such a high altitude. That was touching. Thank you for the warmest hospitality and care at every stage. Follow Alice is expert at delivering a great hiking experience. Florence, Rama, Max, Innocent, Joe, Musafiri, Rajab, and others did an awesome job.

Did the Everest Base Camp and 3 passes trek in November end 2023 and I have to say that it was one of the most memorable experiences of my life. The beauty of this trek is jaw dropping especially the Gokyo Lakes. The temperatures drop to -20°C at night during that time but everything was managed exceptionally well I must say. All arrangements were spot on. Accommodation in lodges and tea houses was great. Food was great. Even when some tea houses were crowded, we didn't have to wait much for the food. The porters and our guides were very experienced and they made the trek quite enjoyable. I would highly recommend Follow Alice for anyone considering this amazing Everest Base Camp trek and 3 passes trek.

Though there were some hiccups w/r/t one of our hotels (that were later rectified by the CEO of Follow Alice himself which was very much appreciated), we still had a very memorable trip to Uganda. Our local guide, Chris, was wonderful and we can't fault him. The ape trekking themselves were incredible too. Really not something you do everyday to be in the presence of wildlife, mere meters away. Do yourselves a favor and embark on this adventure. Uganda is beautiful and lush and will leave a mark.

I'm so glad I chose to Follow Alice up Kilimanjaro! While based in the UK, everyone on the ground in Tanzania was local. The Follow Alice team for our climb was outstanding and put our safety first. I felt supported and well taken care of by our guides, porters, and entire crew. Everyone had such a positive spirit that it overflowed into every aspect of our climb, from our morning wake up hot beverage to our evening briefing for the next day. Our guides were encouraging and helpful, even when I had to make the tough decision to go down the mountain on day 4.

Follow Alice delivered! Communication was excellent from start to finish. The provided gear was high quality as were the optional items for hire. Our meals were tasty and nutritious and always more than enough. The crew was knowledgeable, courteous, and it was a joy to be in their company.

I am looking forward to Following Alice on another adventure in the near future!

My wife and I travelled to Tanzania, in March 2024, hoping to summit Kilimanjaro with Follow Alice.
We chose the 8 day Lemosho Route to reach the top, and the entire experience with Follow Alice from start to finish was first class.
Our trek, along with 3 other travellers, was so well organised and the staff were really professional and supportive throughout.
The equipment provided, the food on the mountain, the advice of the guides, and their support was excellent.
Follow Alice are a member of the Kilimanjaro Porters Assistance Project (KPAP) which is very important, as it means that all the porters we climbed with were treated well, and they only spoke positively about working with Follow Alice on Kili.
Despite climbing in the rainy season, alongside our guides, all our group summited, which was the best feeling of our lives.
Thank you to Follow Alice for making this experience so special. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Follow Alice did a wonderful job with this trip. From booking to pre-trip planning, and the final execution were top notch. They are a company that puts their clients first to make sure everything goes as planned and it was an awesome trip for me.

I cannot say enough good things about our guide Mario. He really made the trip super enjoyable. On the trail I noticed other tour companies leaders/guides and I think what Mario did with us far exceeded what the others did. The guide really can make a difference and Mario did.
