Definitely Worth it

The course calls session was relatively informative and the instructions when going to the exam were easy and clear to understand for myself

The zoom meeting was a little long with some of the early content not relevant to the subject being studied.

The delivery was professional and the pace was well-managed, allowing enough time to fully understand each section before moving on. Communication from the start of enrolment was great. On the course day, there was a lot of information to cover, plus a lot of people in attendance, but that day and the test day went smoothly. Even though a busy time, Celia made it a relaxed atmosphere and shared many fun/interesting industry anecdotes.

As someone who intends to work as a stewardess on a boat, it was fantastic to be able to obtain this qualification online.

It was really accessible through Zoom, which made it easy to complete anywhere. The mentors were all very helpful, ensuring that we meet the requirements to pass and gain this certificate/qualification.

I attended this course in November of 2025 and had a wonderful experience. The front desk staff were welcoming, helpful, and accommodating, as was our chef, Nicolas and his assistant, Lola.
As a Muslim, I truly appreciated the thoughtfulness shown around my needs - when I requested a space to pray, it was provided without hesitation, and Nicolas kindly offered to wait until I had finished before beginning the session (as it only takes a few minutes), which was very supportive.

Nicolas answered all of our questions patiently, thoroughly (even about a few other things baking-related), and we came away having learned so much. I was also grateful to the assistant, Lola, who went out of her way to help me verify whether the ingredients used were halal.
Overall, a fantastic experience - thank you to the whole team for being welcoming and considerate and for the taught material.

The course was very easy to book and they have them regularly in person or online. The coursework was clearly communicated and presented in an informative way. Making it easy to complete the qualification and pass.

My LCQ test experience was very informative. I completed the course through online classes, where the teacher explained all topics very clearly and in an easy-to-understand way. I learned about New Zealand alcohol laws, host responsibility, checking valid ID, and how to handle intoxicated customers. This has helped me feel confident to apply this knowledge in a real work environment.
