I ordered a food of over £ 16 at food…

I ordered a food of over £ 16 at food hub and it wasn’t delivered then they said the system already processed a £1 refund I never asked for and that they can’t refund on that order again and I can only get 5£ coupon . I feel cheated and scammed. I should be refunded fully. Please beware people

Robbing fraudulent scumsite

Foodhub have taken over £190 from my bank over the space of a couple of days, small transactions. My bank won't refund me as I have used foodhub before and foodhub won't refund me as apparently they delivered the food. Even though, the addresses the said food was delivered to, have been given to me and are hundreds of miles away, and the email addresses aren't registered to my account. They are scammers. Read other reviews, I am not alone with this experience. Avoid, foodhub, if you want take away, get some cash out and go pick it up yourself.
Foodhub, this is just the start for me, I will tell everyone who will listen, to avoid you and advise eateries to use a different ordering technique and stop lining the pockets of fraudsters.

Absolute scam

Absolute scam, my order was accepted and got a confirmation email that the restaurant were preparing my food, the money left my bank, had another confirmation on a delivery time, 5 minutes later they cancelled the order because my address can't be verified, and refund was went to my food hub wallet, be very careful with these people.
I will be calling bank tomorrow and reporting it as bank fraud.

Foodhub hacking bank accounts

Don't often have a takeaway, ordered from a chip shop in Newcastle under Lyme, no issues with food or delivery as they use there own staff to deliver food, so once ordered online it comes up on my online banking as foodhub not the chip shop name, ordered on the Thursday evening on the Friday night at around 10pm I get a text message off my bank saying they had blocked a payment for a online purchase of a e-gift card for £50 and to reply yes or no,I replied no as I hadn't used my card online or in any shops for a couple of months, my card was temporarily blocked by the bank to stop anymore payments being made, I've had to sort it out with my bank to get the card unblocked now waiting for a new card.

These thieves have tried to take money from my account after never even ordering from them, obviously a set of scammers and thieves, I wish they would come knocking on my door so I could ‘solve’ these problem people.

No drivers to deliver my order from luna rossa

Terrible service! I ordered food from luna Rossa tonight and had to wait 50mins for my food which I chose on the website to be delivered asap. I had to phone the restaurant after 45 mins to ask where it was, the restaurant explained that food hub driver had not picked it up as yet. The restaurant ended up delivering it because they couldn’t get hold of a driver, the food was cold which had to be reheated… this spoiled it and I also had to throw out the focaccia bread and chips and they were hard an cold! Not the restaurants fault but the company they use for delivery! Waste of money!

I ordered Chinese food for Jade Cottage…

I ordered Chinese food for Jade Cottage Mansfield, the food absolutely awful and low quality, I chat with the customer service they didn't help at all. Trust me this servive isn't worth it. By the way if you live in Mansfield do not order Chinese food from Jade Cottage is expensive and low quality and foodhub doesn't help for the refunds is a unprofessional service

AVOID!

Foodhub are one of the most corrupt companies I've heard of! I don't have the app and have never ordered any food through them but somehow they still have my bank details. They took multiple transactions all in the same afternoon and 2 of them were only 6 minutes apart leaving my account balance in arrears of almost £20- I had £88 left to get me through the next 2 weeks and they've taken the lot but I never saw any of the food I'd supposedly ordered. 2 days later, still no signs of any food deliveries and I'm still £88 out of pocket! I had to call the bank to cancel my card and they put a block against them but they still managed to try again after the block was issued which is why my balance is now in arrears. As requested by Barclays, I called Foodhub customer services even though I knew I'd be wasting my time, they repeatedly told me I needed to speak to someone via the online chat service so I reluctantly downloaded the app purely to do so and two days later they still haven't attempted to reply! I live on my own with a cat there's no way I could eat that much in a week let alone one afternoon and I wouldn't waste the last of my funds on takeaways. What concerns me the most is how they managed to get my bank details when I've never used the app and how they can still end up leaving someone's account in arrears even after they were blocked. If I want a takeaway I'll call the place directly!

Ripoff. Avoid like the plague.

Ordered takeaway from local restaurant then got txt and email from these people confirming my order and wanting the card details I'd already given. Was charged twice (by restaurant & Foodhub) but still no sign of a refund despite another call to restaurant and cancellation email from Foodhub. Will be reporting this fraudulent transaction to my bank.

They are an absolute joke..

They are an absolute joke... I have been waiting well over a week for a refund of just £5. I have several emails from them saying there are no issues and follow steps...
Eventually they have now admitted because I have complained I have been blocked and can't have my money back. I gave all the emails back and forth... DO NOT USE FOODHUB, EVER. THEIR CUSTIMER SERVICE IS A JOKE AND DISGUSTING.
I also got an email stating a refund but was then blocked from taking it..

Good luck getting your money back

Had the restaurant cancel our order and a message from Food Hub on the app saying a full refund would be provided within 5 working days.
That was 2 weeks ago and still have not received a refund.

Avoid!!!! Had our order through, missing one item - kids meal!! And foodhub's answer was contact us again in 1 hour! What a joke.

Terrible terrible food delivery app!

Terrible terrible food delivery app!! AVOID. The staff are very rude, they do not care about customer service and I got bad food poisoning from a restaurant on their App. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. AVOID!!

Excellent customer service

Called Foodhub customer services when the take away I ordered did not arrive but the money was taken from my back. The young man I spoke to could not have been more helpful, he went above and beyond to get my money refunded, especially as the take away owners were on holiday and could not be contacted. He called me back 3 times to update me on the progress. He was extremely polite and talked me through everything. If only all customer services worked like this. Excellent service.
